Store (Prinsengracht) has quite a supply of Earl Grey but when you ask for advice then you are told that "you have to decide for yourself." Since I don't have expertise, I POLITELY told them that I decided not to buy that kind of tea. Then I was INSULTED and told that I should not be angry. Deciding not to buy does not mean you are angry and not a reason to be insulted
I had a fantastic experience at a coffee bean shop recently. The customer service was exceptional, with knowledgeable staff who helped me find the perfect coffee beans. It's a rarity to find such great service in the Netherlands. The coffee selection was decent, and overall, it was a standout experience.
I am a regular customer purchasing Ginger tea. One day (two weeks back) I purchased two ginger tea packets and paid the bill. Once I reached home I realized that one of the two ginger packet was not ginger tea but another taste. Tried calling the shop on the same day didn't get any response - which can happen. Unfortunately I was busy for so couldn't visit the shop immediately to change the packet. Went to the on May 20, 2023 and explained the lady behind the counter - the issue and wished it to be traded in for a ginger tea packet and was willing to pay any extra amount.
The sales assistant didn't even grasp what I had told and immediately reacted with "No" it was not possible. I was surprised and try to reason with her then she told me if I had the ticket. I informed that when purchasing the tea I never wanted a ticket since I was a regular and I was willing to show my online payment. The sales assistant was cold and just said no. The packet was not opened and it was not mistake if this tea flavor was on the same rack of the ginger. I just saw the ginger tea and picked two - pure a reflex purchase.
Will never ever purchase from this shop. Think very carefully before you purchase from this shop smooth talker but they are just aiming to make a fast buck.

I always shop in the physical shop in Utrecht. The employees are very friendly. The coffee and tea is super nice, there are a lot of options to choose from and the prices are reasonable. They didn't increase the prices much in the last year, in contrast with everyone else.
