Terrible Support
Support from this service leaves much to be desired. We contacted their support team three times and never received a single response. Several weeks have already passed.
We also tried reaching out to their AI chatbot, but it simply advised us to contact support—which, as mentioned, does not respond.
The issue we are unable to resolve makes it impossible to use the service at all. It’s very disappointing that support is not helping to move the issue toward a solution.

I did get a free trial couple weeks ago, but I didn't use the product and I think I canceled the trial at that time, but maybe due to some error it didnt cancel i am not sure.
I got sick recently and went to hospital, just today checked out and went to my bank account to see that I have a huge charge of 240$ for subscription. That's my last money right now to be honest, and I have never touched Similarweb and won't use it. I havent activated or used anything, so please terminate my account and refund the money. You probably can check that I havent used anything or logged once in this timeframe...

Out of curiosity i gave this a go to see how accurate it was.
Tracked my own site and checked out the data... Completely off. I checked it against my site its completely off, i mean 3x off (45k visitors vs 15k), 100% organic sales vs 105, Running no ads vs spending 10k + monthly.
Seems to just be guesswork at best, not sure how people pay for it.

Excellent Customer Service. I signed up for a trial to use Similar Web for a school assignment. The information was extremely valuable; however, I didn't need the paid yearly platform. I forgot to cancel the trial, and I was charged for the year. I wrote them asking to cancel my subscription and refund me, and they did so right away. Thank you!

Concerns About Value for Money and Add-On Costs
I appreciate the valuable insights into competitors’ statistics, though I’ve noticed occasional data spikes that didn’t match real traffic trends (e.g., an alert about a 150% increase when Google Analytics and Matomo showed normal levels).
However, for a relatively expensive plan, only basic features are included. Every extra function — even essentials like Looker Studio integration — costs extra, and there’s no clear information on pricing or conditions for adding these features.
More transparency and a more inclusive pricing structure would make the platform far more valuable.
