I liked that potential people of the opposite sex were shown to me each day. I do think that there is way too many scammers on the site which makes it difficult to find a real person. I also think that you should be able to search by city or closer mileage area.

After I took myself off the dating website , Thinking I had met the woman of my dreams. I found out all she want was for me to give her money. This is a scam. While you, yourself did not do it to me, as a result I am still looking for my true love. I guess Im just an old fool.

So far I like it, I love the service from silversingles . I still didn't find anyone yet but hope soon 😂

First of all, I opted for 6 months, and they signed me up for a year at about double the money. Plus, always sending me matches and views, until I pay, then nothing.

I signed up for Silver Singles in early November and it truly is the worst dating site. And so expensive. Especially when they charge in US dollars.
There are very few matches and the majority are from Montreal area. Or Toronto. I live in Ottawa!! Today there was one from BC. They suggest I be less stringent in my preferences to get more matches. But that’s why they’re called preferences. I have no wish to date someone far older than me. Or someone who lives two or more hours away. Or someone shorter than me! Even FB dating is better than this site. And it’s free. Save your money. If I could cancel and get my money back would. I will never ever sign up to this dating site again. Just garbage!!

Can only do 50 mile radius searches or greater. Possible matches are doled out daily. I want to see everyone at once and be able to look at profiles much closer to home. I think 50 mile is chosen as unless you live in a metropolitan area there aren't many people to choose from. Better luck at the grocery store. I am a very active and fit 70 year old and I knew in the first day this wasn't for me.

I think the Big 5 personality test based on a dozen questions risks being inaccurate. I am concerned that they are putting too much emphasis on it in finding matches.

To me silver singles was very professional and caring and accomplished my request in a timely manner

In 2 weeks I've had 3 good chats, 1 from Galway and 2 from Cork. All 3 were actually in America 2 asked me for money it's not a good start, wouldn't recommend at the minute

I am no longer alone, and the relationship I found on your website seems almost to good to be true. She is a fantastic and beautiful lady. Right now it’s a texting relationship. We talk several times a day and have plans to meet, but both of us feel like teenagers doing this for the first time.

The customer service took quick action in regards to the fake profile I discovered. I am very thankful that the department listened to me to protect myself and others

2 women who interacted with me I was told were scammers. I’ve been on 1 date which I believed went quite well, at the time, but she has, obviously, deleted me from her matches as I can no longer see her profile. She gave me her phone number (her suggestion) and has ignored my 2 messages since the date. Why couldn’t she just have been honest with me and say something like “she was looking for a different type of person to me’. This behaviour is just immature and rude. I was messaging with another member a few days ago and then, all of a sudden, the messages had stopped and I could no longer see her profile. Obviously, she had deleted me from her matches too which acts like blocking someone. Women say that they want honesty but when you’re honest with them they react by being immature and rude and block you. I’ve interacted with maybe 3 or 4 other members which probably won’t go anywhere or they’ll decide to delete me from their matches to effectively block me too when I honestly answer a question about my life that they don’t like. I’ve asked their customer care for a refund for the remainder of the time left which I’ve paid for. Hence, 2 scammers, 2 rude people who just effectively blocked me and a few other people who I’ve interacted with that I expect will be just as rude to me at some point. Just want to end membership now but with a refund for the remaining time left as members do not act like I was expecting like normal honest adults but just like petulant children instead.

A complete con! I left Elite Singles because it was so dreadful. Dead accounts that never respond, matches hundreds of miles away ... so, I thought I'd try another site. Silver Singles is exactly the same and in my initial sign up they were sending me all the same crap matches. I literally recognised the same people from before ... what a sham. AND NOW THEY WANT ME TO DO THEIR JOB FOR THEM BY TELLING THEM AGAIN HOW BAD THEY ARE.

I was having technical trouble with my account and sent requests for assistance two times. Both times my request was met in a timely and thorough manner

I signed up through an ad that said get up to 50% off the 3 month plan. Once I filled out all the profile, they refused to give me the discount. I wrote to support and sent a picture of the ad and they still refused to honor the ad. They are unethical.

This is a bad dating site. There are a lot of fake profiles and scammers on this site. Some scammers were pointed out by the security team and others got through and asked for money. Some fake profiles changed pictures/different person once you got off the site and started using emails and other forms of communicating.

Cancelled two months ago and still taking money from bank card.ive deleted profile and when I tried to cancel subscription again it advised cancellation in progress from 2 month’s ago,smacks of a scam ☹️

Terrible company! Before renewal date of paid subscription, I canceled my paid subscription online, but they renewed my paid subscription for some reasons and now try to charge me for that subscription!!! I contacted customer service, but they are useless. Give me back my money! Do not use this company!!!

I have been on the site for two weeks. Not to toot my own horn, but I am an attractive woman who has taken extraordinary care of myself and I have not had even one man email me! Can not recommend this site, if you would like to actually meet anyone in the Denver area.

Terrible company! Do not use. Terrible customer service. In the one month or month and a half. I’ve been with them. I’ve had seven scammers get through. Six they notified me of and one I had to notify them. That says a lot to me about this company and that they’re not taking precautions with the folks who sign up Plus customer service is pretty much useless in terms of answering questions. They are instructions for matches make no sense. How can you have 117 as a match. I am so sorry I wasted my money on this company a friend of mine was successful, but she may be the exception rather than the rule , I will not be renewing my membership
