Since the change of format I’ve noticed that there appears to be a lot more members. Great I thought, however, despite “liking” multiple profiles I’ve had zero responses, which is making me wonder if... See more

Fake profile
Fake profile, after fake profile. "Matches" listed in towns that don't exist.
Paid for a 3 month membership, cancelled almost immediately. I was initially able to message potential matches, but once I cancelled my subscription, could no longer message, even though my paid subscription runs for another month.

Scammers are abundant on this site..no matches for me..real disappointed
I wish I could give it no stars
I wish I could give it no stars! They recently did an update and completely changed how the system works. I’ve lost my messages as well as my likes and have been unable to even figure out how to make it work. I guess they know there’s a problem because you can’t find any place on our website to contact customer support. A year ago I encouraged a lot of people to join this site but now I’ll tell everyone to run the other way!
Your customer service is on point
Your customer service is on point, it's the "new" format that is terrible, stop trying to be like Tinder. One aspect I liked of the original format was I could message someone that hadn't yet matched with me and I made a few great connections that way, don't spoil a good thing trying to be another thing. SilverSingles is one of the best dating sites on the inter-web and now you've gone and fixed what wasn't broken. I'm thinking of not re-subscribing.
Should have trusted the poor reviews
Should have trusted the poor reviews. Close to subscription renewal, suddenly their format changed when logged into and a strange page appeared with only a logout button and profile questions forcing you to start setting up a profile from the beginning even though one was there for weeks. Tried to rush through then was blocked. Then comes the loop, no way to contact customer service except with an email which is hard to find and a response promised within 48 hours which I received but it was relevant to nothing I'd addressed and kept sending me to a credit card form. Too many AI generated 'Hi's' with nothing behind them. Faces watching but noone communicating or seemingly alarmed at having being sent a message. The few conversations i did have seemed off, possibly AI too. Useless site as most of them are - AI scammers by the looks of things. Run away.
Support was exceedingly fast
Support was exceedingly fast, asked for a profile name change. Within minutes it was done.
They can improve by going out of…
They can improve by going out of business. They do not keep their promises and pay no attention to your guidelines. They will send you so-called matches in states thousands of miles away, just to send you something, even though you have indicated only send matches in 50 mile radius. Plus, you constantly get messages that "something went wrong" and your messages are not sent to matches no matter you do, you just keep getting the message. If you complain, you get a reply "everything looks good on our end" which is ridiculous. I gave todays date, but the bad experiences are daily and ongoing.

silver singles is just another scam dating site!
silver singles is just another lying manipulative dating site. they show possible matches for you that are quite a stretch ,from what you are looking for in a match. they also show a few very beautiful women that like what you have written, but the messages are not accurate and the the telephone number area codes, these robots sneak into the message ,do not correlate with the cities in the united states, they say they are from! even if you write a responce to the beautiful bot, imediately the prices pop up to become a so called premium member. I was lucky and the site did not except my credit card. I contacted them and did exactly what they told me to do ,but I got no email back from the company in Germany that operates this scam site.after sending them a screenshot of what the credit card rejection message said when rejecting my card. don't waste your time with this ,from my experience, rip off dating site!
Read this before considering joining Silver Single Dating Website.
I was considering enrolling in a six month membership with Silver Singles, but I became hesitant when I read so many disappointing reviews from former or active members and more so when reading repeated complaints members did not want their membership renewed, but conveniently were not able to communicate that via the recommended way nor did they receive expected responses from the customer service department. Hence, against their preference their memberships were auto renewed and they could not get their money refunded, which was terribly upsetting to read! Therefore and prior to enrolling on Silver Singles, I submitted a written concern to customer service high lighting the above and understandably asked if they would please guarantee me prior to joining Silver Singles that they would not automatically renew my account without my written consent. Be aware over a month has passed and Silver Singles' customer service never responded to my inquiry, which to me speaks volumes and again BEWARE! How many repeated complaints have to be publicy posted and lodged before the government takes actions against such corrupt and questionable business practices by today's dating websites!
SS can cancel your membership anytime with no explanation
I’ve actually met a few people in person through this site so there are real people sprinkled in with the fake profiles (of which there are too many very obvious ones). But I give them barely one star because they canceled my membership less than 2 months into a 6 month subscription. No reason given. But the timing leads me to believe all it took was one member (who I wouldn’t give sensitive information to) who filed a “fake profile” claim and SS just used that one data point to cancel me without making any attempt to contact me. That’s a shockingly low bar and easily lends itself to abuse both by other members and SS. And their cancellation email to me said “we’re sorry to see you go”. Wait, what??? So basically they’ll get you to subscribe and pay and cancel you on a whim because they can. Just another company that can, for all intents and purposes, steal your money without you having any recourse. (If you’re considering a paying membership it’s good to review their publicly available terms and conditions.) I requested a reason for my cancellation anyway using their online feedback tool and have not been given anything. I hope their bot doesn’t respond to this review by “encouraging me to contact their customer service”. And btw as I said I’ve met multiple people in person through SS who could verify that my profile is not fake and I am who I say I am.
This is the absolute worst dating site…
This is the absolute worst dating site on the face of the earth. They take your money get you to fill out a questionnaire and then give you NOTHING. Matches that don't exist, matches who are not paid members so they can't answer you. They are using you to get people to pay. They send email either matches and then there are none. I have contacted Customer Service 10 times and all I get is bullshit back from them. DON'T DO IT YOU WILL BE SORRY!!!
Extremely bad dating platform
This dating app deserves 0 stars. The business model feels deceptive: you can’t access any features without paying for a subscription, yet even after paying, access to features is still limited. Reputable dating services provide a free trial with full access, so people can decide if the platform meets their needs. This one does not. Overall, a very disappointing and frustrating experience.
I joined this site and requested…
I joined this site and requested matches closer to home
The majority of my matches are in another state over 3 hrs away
After 3 days no refund available
Don’t waste your time or money on this site
I signed up to SilverSingles with SilverSingles Review – Not Fit for Purposeclear…
I signed up to SilverSingles with clear preferences: I wanted to see profiles of people without children, as that’s important to me. Despite setting those filters, the matches I received completely ignored them. Day after day, I was shown profiles that didn’t meet my criteria — it felt like the system wasn’t listening at all.
The platform promises tailored matches and meaningful connection, but what I got was generic, mismatched suggestions and a frustrating lack of control. For the price they charge, it’s simply not worth it. If you’re serious about finding someone who actually fits your values and lifestyle, keep your money in your pocket — this isn’t the place.
I expected better. What I got was a waste of time.
Don't believe the positive reviews!
Don't believe ANY of the positive reviews. I can almost bet they are posers from Silver Singles to make you think anyone would leave a positive review.
Sparks Network who owns this site is the most fraudulent company next to The Match Group! All the dating sites they own are all the same. They don't provide the services they claim and they know it.
Save your money! Send a friend request to a potential interest on Facebook. This is the only best way anymore. All dating sites are either scams or ghost towns.
Silver Singles a BIG waste of money
This was a BIG waste of money! They showed photos of matches from other states, but 25 so-called matches from Arizona have NO photos. Their answer is to contact each man and request photos. They refuse to refund my $100 plus money.
I wouldn't trust anyone
I wouldn't trust anyone! That includes customer service which is out of Germany.
I was talking to a guy that supposedly was in the military, widower, 2 kids and after a couple months red flags started appearing. Then he starts asking me for money. After I refused he went from being so in love with me one day to absolutely having nothing to do with me the next.
I know about all the scams and I had my guard up the entire time. After I collected all the evidence and emails from the military base where he said he was stationed, they even told me it was a scam.
I brought all this forward to them so maybe if his identity or profile shows up then they could block him.
Nope, they blamed me and blocked my account, which was completely fine with me. I already deleted my account and will have nothing more to do with dating sites.
If a guy by the name of Lt Colonel Donald Justin Frank that is a widower with 2 kids, a girl Maddie and a boy John who are in a full-time military school with a nanny in Tennessee, but he is stationed out of South Carolina. . . He is a scammer and don't give him the time of day. Ohhh and he says that he owns gas stations and oil fields work over 8 million.
So, why do I get blocked when reporting a fraud??
Its a company thats based out of Germany.
Don't waist your money on this site!! Im a 53 yr old white female and take my word on this, they are only out to play you!!
Great help when you need it
It was great to be able to get help when i needed it because i had a problem not being able to log on to the website
