Don't buy your socks here. Sketchy!!

I would not recommend buying from Silverlight based on my recent experience.

I have been using Silverlight socks for many years and have always been very happy with the quality. The socks themselves are excellent and have served me well for a long time.

Unfortunately, my recent experience with customer service has been very disappointing. I was promised replacement socks because some stitches had failed, but I have been waiting since January 31. As of March 6, I had still not received anything. The tracking link did not work, and customer service responses were very slow. When they did reply, it remained unclear what to expect next.

For socks in this price range, I expected much better service. That makes this experience even more disappointing, especially as a long time satisfied customer.

Update March 23: Still no socks. The first package was lost. After many emails and a long wait, Jade sent a replacement parcel, but this one also got lost in the same place in China. Something is clearly going wrong, but it is unclear where.

Update March 25: Still no socks. Apparently, a required number was missing from the shipment, causing it to fail at the airport twice. I also tried to contact the owner, Ralph S., via a comment on their blog, but the blog has since been removed.

This situation feels increasingly unreliable.

Ordered a 5 pack of XXL... NOT!

Ordered a 5 pack of XXL, received 4 XXL and one L (emroidered as XXL). I sent a support request that started out helpful, then I got ghosted. Don't expect to recieve what you ordered. They obviously have a quality control issue with their Chinese manufacturer. This is the second time this has happened now. Not impressed with the ghosting by support to say the least. Disappointed enough to shop elsewhere and share my experience. Be warned.

Best socks

I have been hiking a lot in these socks for more than 5 years now and I absolutely love them. Started to see some deterioration recently and applied for their lifetime warranty. I read some bad things about their customer care so no high hopes, but after contacting them I got new socks for free right away. Absolute legends.

Odd sizes…… useless

Ordered 3 pairs of socks that took nearly 2 months to arrive and the left sock is larger than the right sock, both say large but clearly different sizes, poor quality control. Socks took nearly 2 months to arrive, tracking didn’t work and website was useless. I’ve bought these before but never again.

Do not order from Silverlight.

This is a terrible company. I should have checked reviews before ordering. The socks were the wrong size. They are not sending me a return label it’s been over 3 weeks. They offered to give 25% back instead of the full amount. What a scam. Order #44062

Never recevied my order..

Never recevied my order... Payment was taken from my credit card. Customer support initially replied but stopped after I provided my proof of transaction.

Three months after the order they send me “proof of delivery”. They send a screenshot of a track and trace, it was a screenshot of an order in a different country and the date was 6th April whereas I ordered in the beginning of February.

As seen in the other reviews, this company is just a scam

Scam?

I have ordered a pair. Money was collected straight away, socks never received. They sent a tracking number of the logistics partner, but that link just says “no information available”. Customer service does not reply at all. This seems to be a scam!

It's a scam. Order 3 pairs of socks, they never came. Asked for shipping info, got nothing. Customer service replies, but they don't help.

SCAM COMPANY

I almost ordered something from Silverlight store, when I changed my mind. Still they charged me money??

I've written them 4 e-mails to CANCEL my order during the last 4 days. Their customer service responded once, and after this the only thing I get is "Order confirmed" "Order now shipped".

They've stolen my money and are completely unreachable. Totally unacceptable.

Very poor socks and customer service

The first pair of socks that arrived was huge, even though it said it was the size on the sizing chart. The second supposedly smaller pair were no better.
Both pairs took ages to arrive and the customer service from them is shocking and unwilling to resolve my issue.
Very poor company, avoid at all costs.

Spent £90 on socks

Spent £90 on socks. Package not delivered. After several emails and a not a great deal of concern from ‘customer service’ I was told to contact the courier directly and submit a lost claim! 😬🙄

Also no paypal payment option at checkout. This should have been the first and last red flag!!

Wish I had bought from Smartwool instead.
