My nightmare began when I met a so-called expert on Telegram discussing DeFi node operation. Panic completely took over. They fronted me 0.76 ETH to start. I deposited it, traded, and pulled out 1.53 ETH without a hitch. Hooked by the easy money, I was manipulated into investing $237,747 using a second mortgage. The fake profits ballooned to $2,234,748. When I tried to cash out $1,703,475, the trap sprang: a mandatory 5% network validation fee ($85,173). Blinded by the sunk cost, I paid it. But when they asked for an additional 22% security audit fee, the horrifying reality set in. I was being scammed. A financial advisor recommended a digital forensics firm (Fiscopadvisorllc). They meticulously traced the ETH ledger to KuCoin, isolated the scammer's fiat off-ramp, and managed to reverse the transaction.
