We absolutely loved our wedding flowers - I had a pink peony and lilac sweet pea bouquet and my bridesmaids bouquets, my mum's corsage and men's buttonholes were ivory peonies and lilac sweet peas. The sweet peas were colour-matched to the bridesmaid dresses. The pink peonies in my bouquet were a few different shades of pink to look as natural as possible. They were amazing and very real looking. I love that I can keep them forever. And that I could get peonies at a time of year when they're not their best. The service from Mara was great with an initial phone call, lots of emailing and photos of mock-ups and even a visit to the showroom before we decided to go with Silk Blooms. I first came across Silk Blooms at their exhibit at the Scottish wedding showcase and was very impressed at how real their bouquets and buttonholes looked!

We decided to order both the bride and bridesmaid bouquets and nine buttonholes (6 for the men and 3 for our mums and the groom's sister-in-law). The staff at Silk blooms were very helpful when we went to their showroom and spent a lot of time discussing what I wanted with them. We are both Scottish and so I wanted a bouquet with thistles in to keep with our theme. Silk blooms made every effort to match the navy of the thistles to the same shade as my bridesmaid's dress, so everything matched perfectly on the day. They even appealed to my quirky side by putting a tiny wooden ladybird onto one of leaves in the bouquets!

It was very exciting to receive updates on my order and get the approval photos sent through. Another great advantage of having artificial flowers was being able to collect them a couple of weeks before the wedding, so everything was very relaxed and easy.

The buttonholes looked excellent, and the ladies' ones were softened with a bit of gypsophila so they were like the mens' ones but not exactly the same. We also went with the magnet fastenings for the buttonholes (rather than pins) which was a clever touch and meant that there were no pin holes left in the outfits afterwards - which everyone appreciated! Although there was a tiny mix up with the magnet fastenings on a few of our buttonholes when we went to collect them (a couple of them initially had pin fastenings rather than the magnets), the staff at Silk blooms were very helpful and immediately changed them to the magnet fastening.

All in all, I was very pleased with my flowers. They looked great on the day, excellent in the photos and now I get to keep them forever. Thank you Silk blooms!

I ordered all my flowers and button holes from Silk Blooms. I went to visit them at their showroom and spent time with the florist picking my flowers and colours. About 6 weeks before the wedding I changed my mind and picked different flowers. This was no problem for silk blooms and they changed my whole order and had my beautiful flowers ready before my wedding. Everyone commented on how beautiful and unusual they were and that they couldn't believe they were artificial. I would definitely recommend Silk Blooms

My husband and I had met with countless wedding florists who charged the earth for wedding flowers that weren't really capturing the spirit that we wanted. I'm originally from Glasgow and wanted a Scottish style to fit in with the day I had in mind. I had found my perfect bouquet online (via Pinterest) and I just couldn't find a florist who could match what I'd found. When I stumbled across Silk Blooms and started talking to Mara I knew I'd found the perfect florist. I sent her the picture I'd found and was assured that they could match it. The customer service was amazing. I was sent regular updates on how my bouquets were coming along, and when they arrived they were identical to the picture I had originally sent and I was delighted with them. My bridesmaids loved theirs as well, which were just smaller versions of mine. On the wedding day, everyone couldn't believe that they weren't real flowers, and now I get to keep the bouquet at home as a memento. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Silk Blooms to anyone. The customer service was outstanding, the flowers were beautiful and all for much, much less than I would have paid using a traditional florist.

As my husband and I were going to Gretna Green we only needed flowers for the two of us. My husband had already ordered a buttonhole elsewhere but I'm delighted I stumbled across this website and ordered my flowers. I was so pleased with the service provided and would recommend them to anyone.

when my original florist let me down Silk Blooms were very sympathetic and helpful given the tight time frame that I had. The showroom had so much choice and the assistant noted down what I liked in very fine detail. We ordered six buttonholes and three bouquets from them and they were all made perfectly and make brilliant keepsakes from the wedding.

I was a bit concerned to begin with that I would not get to actually see my flowers until I received them but Mara put me at ease and said that photos would be sent at the flowers were made. I wanted to add details to bouquets and buttonholes they already had and this was not an issue at all!! I can not express how amazing they all were and the amount of compliments we received. I would recommend Silk Blooms to other brides and would out my complete utter trust in them time and time over! Thank you for everything.

I purchased from this site at short notice. After getting refunds back from two other companies. They could not deliver. I was praying this company could do my order on time. I got a message to say item will be made and posted next day and it was. I recieved within 2 days of order. This is what i call excellent service. With it being an handmade item and made within 2 days, posted and delivered is excellent. I items look so lovely and exctly how i was hoping and what i wanted. Now glad the other companies let me down and i woulf silk blooms. So profession and post through a tracked secure service. Buy with confidence. I was pleased at the response and the politeness of the staff also they really go out their way,

I had initially saw Silk Blooms advertised on Facebook, the flowers looked lovely but had not appreciated how gorgeous and life like they were until I went along to SECC Wedding Fayre and saw a selection of their flowers on display. Myself and my family could not believe the quality of the flowers and I immediately chose them as my wedding flower supplier for my wedding on 11th July 2015. When I went for my appointment at their showroom there was so much choice and their showroom was fantastic, the girls were also very helpful with ideas and what was possible. My order consisted of a bride bouquet, 3 bridesmaid bouquets and 6 buttonholes. A few weeks before the wedding my mum wanted a wrist corsage made up of two styles on the Silk Blooms website and again this was not a problem to add and create, they knew exactly what we wanted.
When my mum and I collected my wedding flowers to say they were stunning was an understatement. We couldn't believe how amazing they looked. On the day, so many people commented on how gorgeous they were and my bouquet now has pride of place in my display cabinet and the other bridal party all now have a keepsake to remind them of the fantastic day we had. I will definitely be ordering a wrist corsage for the next wedding I go to! Thanks to everyone at Silk Blooms!

I had come across silk blooms at a wedding fair and had always known is wanted silk flowers as wanted to keep my bouquet. When I went for my appointment there was so much choice and their showroom was fantastic. When I came across a bouquet I liked Mara helped me adapt little things about it so it was exactly the way I wanted it. She gave great suggestions. So I had ordered a bride bouquet, bridesmaid bouquet and two wands. After I had left I decided not to go ahead with the wands and it was absolutely no problem to have them taken off the order. Then only a few months ago I had decided I wanted to change the bouquets as felt they didn't match with everything. Again it was absolutely no bother at all to change them.
I picked my bouquets up the other day and they are stunning. I couldn't believe how amazing they looked. You can see the work that goes into them. I was asked as well if there was anything I wanted to change or anything I was unhappy with and they'd get it sorted. But there was no need. They were perfect and exactly what if asked for. It's great to have a company where the customer service is second to none, takes a lot of stress away. Thanks for everyone at silk blooms who helped in the making of my flowers. Wouldn't hesitate to tell everyone about your work.

I never ever write reviews for anything i purchase but i wanted to share how pleased i am with the luxury, quality and attention to detail. No one would know they are artifical flowers unless told..I checked so many different sites and reviews and im glad i pick S.B. Im getting married aborad and my biggest concern was real flowers looking dehydrated and hassle. Thank you so much for providing flowers i am so proud to carry on my wedding day. Money well spend.xxx

I ordered some button holes a year ago to get an idea of the quality of the flowers. They were beautiful. I didn't look anywhere else, I decided then that was what I wanted. The flowers I loved were a Halloween theme and I was getting married in June so I requested several adaptions, all of which were no problem. When the flowers came they were stunning. The service from Mara and her team was brilliant. Any little problems I had Mara sorted for me quickly and with brilliant customer service. I would recommend Silk Blooms over any other flower experience. Thank you Mara!

Before i start i make no apologies for a large review. I hope it helps for anyone thinking about placing an order with Silk Blooms. You dont need to look any further than here.
When my daughter said she wanted silk flowers for her wedding my heart sank. Its my daughter's day so have to go with her wishes, so 12 months we started to trawl the websites and requesting samples. Some didn't turn up, some sent just a petal. We came across Silk Blooms read the write up and requested a button hole from the kerrin range. Well my daughter & I was amazed at the quality and both said at the same time we have found where the flowers were coming from. We rang Mara and told her what we wanted to order & Mara suggested some different ideas with what we could do with the ribbon the order was complete. We paid a little when we could so the cost wasn't a big outlay all at once. (As cost for flowers go this was so reasonable in relation to the florist shops who turned there nose up wanting silk flowers). 6 months later bridesmaid dresses were brought. The light blue would clash. I got in touch with Mara who suggested sending a swatch. I sent a detachable flower and left it to Mara & her team. A week before the flower were due to be sent we decided we wanted a present for Grandma who made the cake. I said how much i wanted to spend & what i had in mind. By now Mara must have being fed up with me as i now also adding to the order & also changed the delivery address. But no just so happy to help to ensure our needs were met. Before sending the order a picture of each of the order was sent to ensure we were happy. Next day they arrived. Truly amazing. Well packaged. Quality stunning and the flowers matched the bridesmaid dresses beautifully. The button holes & corsages were ordered with magnets that were really strong great idea & no pins to ruin outfits. The wands for the 3yrs olds were perfect & most importantly light. (At bridal fares the fresh ones were so heavy) The eldest bridesmaid had a posy slightly different being the eldest but the colours match beautifully. The bride bouquet was everything that was asked for again just amazing and again so light. Grandma present was a posy in a glass holder gift wrapped. All the flowers were matched up to the bridal-bouquets stunning. The day of the wedding 8 July 2015. No sressing if the flowers would arrive on time as everyone had what the required the evening before. No worrying incase they wilted before the end of a hot day, they looked as good as the day they arrived, & a perfect keepsake for years to come. Most importantly grandma loved her present.
To Mara & her team thank you for your help & support throughout the last 12 months, everything was amazing and the compliments about all the flowers never stopped all day.

Silk Blooms are a truly delightful company to deal with and make the experience so wonderful. Mara is amazing and pleasant despite me changing my whole order a couple of times over. The flowers are so plush and glamorous. You can tell a lot of effort has gone into everything that they do. A truly lovely experience to add to the entire wedding planning.

The service I received was outstanding, you opinions and advice were greatly appreciated and the flowers as a whole flowed together beautifully. Giving yourself enough time to make them is crucial and I'm glad I ordered them about 7-8 months before our wedding. It gave you time to create them and send them on a specific week close enough to the wedding day which put my mind at ease knowing I would receive them well in advance.

I was so impressed and in shock and wonder on our wedding day at how beautiful it all looked. The quality was superb and our guests were overwhelmed at how real they looked. Even more so when we gave some of them away to special guests as thank you's, they were delighted.
