BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!
BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!
I purchased a pair of spectacles from Siestary, sold as multifocal.
They turned out to be only one focus and I tried to return them, opening a dispute with Paypal.
It now appears that I have to return faulty goods at my expense which will probably cost as much, if not more than the spectacles!? Not only am I unhappy with Siestary and the item purchased, but it has highlighted a major issue with Paypal who don't recognise the UK laws on distance selling and the onus of the cost of return being borne on the seller and not the buyer for faulty goods. I'm livid and will never buy from outside of the UK again, and feel Paypal hide behind this 'neutrality BS' when the buyers rights are infringed. Both the seller and the payment protection (yeah, right!) company get 1star and a zero if I could.
