Such a poor experience

Such a poor experience.
Please read reviews on these accommodations.
Stayed in a studio flat in Willesden Green for two months and it was a nightmare.
Not only is it a poor quality accommodation with chipped paint and dust and hair all all over it’s impossible to sleep.
It is horribly noisey at this accommodation and impossible to sleep because of it.
The walls are so thin you can hear the neighbouring studio having early morning showers because of loud pipes, low conversations are loud and you can even hear snoring at night. It’s impossible to ignore as it’s clear the beds in adjoining apartments are right next to eachother.
The floor boards above are incredibly loud when someone is walking upstairs and you can hear people walking on them.
The furniture is cracked and the utilities are dirty.
Post is constantly lost.
The space is constantly damp and clothes cannot dry here even with the windows open so some of my clothes are ruined.
Both chairs were broken so I was never able to sit on them and even after asking twice they were never replaced of fixed.
The lettings manager was rude and never replied when I needed something but in the same chain of emails would ignore my requests or questions and tell me she needed the place for a viewing.

Here my covid experience

Here my covid experience. I have a reservation for end of June. I contacted them in April, they told me it's to early to discuss about cancelation due to covid. I contacted them again mid of June because my flight has been canceled and UK impose a 14 days quarantine (and trip takes only 5 days) so I have no possibility to go to London and to do any visit in UK. They refused all my agreement proposals (partly refunded, credit, date changes) ... nothing. They have really a bad commercial relationship.

A bit worn-down, but good value for money

Stayed at a basement flat in London's Bayswater area (listing #IN2) for several nights in June 2019, with the booking made directly via shortlet-london.com. Despite some of the bad reviews elsewhere online, I decided to risk it since the price was very good for the location and overall, I am satisfied with my experience. It's definitely not premium accommodation - some chipped paint, tired kitchen applications, tiny bathroom, pretty bad sound insulation etc, but the flat was reasonably clean, had all the amenities that were promised, both check-in and check-out were easy, the electricity meter had been prepaid etc. From my research, the price for the area was very fair - close to Hyde Park, with lots of nearby restaurants and cafes. I did not like that they could not find the debit card I had previously attached to my online account, so I had to give the check-in agent my full card details (including the security code), but the information was not misused from what I can tell. It also seems they have disabled reviews on their Facebook and only publish 5-star reviews on their own website, which seems a bit shady, but I still want to make it clear that at least in my experience, this company is not a scam as some of the older TripAdvisor etc posts seem to suggest - I got the product I paid for.

Poor service and no reply

We booked an apartment via Booking.com, with short let London as host. 30 Mora Apartments was booked for 4 persons, there were only 2 bed covers and the day bed was in such poor condition it was not suitable as a bed nor a sofa. We asked quote: (Hi There is there and option for either an air mattress or a top mattress for the day bed? as it is not possible for 2 persons to sleep on it as it is? Cheers.) The reply from the contact was she could not understand, ans asked me to say it again. We replied Quote: No problem I will explain again. The daybed cant fit 2 persons and it is very poor, we bought an air mattress and an air pump, this was 37 pounds I expect this to be refunded as we booked for 4 persons. There is only 2 covers and again we booked for 4 persons. loo forward to your reply Cheers:
there was no reply at all to the above. When trying to rate the stay on the Short let London homepage via link from their own email, it has an error when uploading the poor rating and it was not possible to upload again, smart way to avoid poor rates. Will not recommend using Short let London on our next stay in London.
