I bought my solar kit from them a year and a half ago. I still do not have it working correctly. To begin with they sent me the wrong Converter. Then it was Winter so I didn't attempt to install until Summer, I live in Colorado. Once I attempted to install I ran into one issue after another. Didn't work, it was the wrong fuse sent, still didn't work, it was the charge controller, then inverter (supposedly). Their tech group tried but didn't seem to have the basic electronic experience needed to troubleshoot. I now have a system with two batteries that can only power two 15amp breakers for less than two hours. This is a 3,000 watt inverter with 4 solar panels. Now, they don't even return my emails. I essentially got a 3K pile of crap. Last letter 2 weeks ago. Buyer beware.

Salesman gave me the info to make a sound decision.

We have the entire home system and batteries - they ship fast and accurate!! The manuals are emailed almost immediately and the product is great quality.

As I add to my system and become more educated on what my needs are I call Shop Solar. Bruce spent all the time necessary to answer my questions and help me order what I needed. He checked on a price match question and addressed that, and another question he sent to the service department and they responded with my answer the next day. Great company and amazing customer service! If you are on hold for a while (I was) it’s worth the wait for the service you receive. Anxious to receive my additional batteries and expand my system. Purchased the Rich Solar NOVA 8000K for an off grid set up. It has been a giant disappointment. Not a user friendly install and so finicky with 3d party batteries that, after nearly 6 weeks of constant tech support input, it still doesn’t work.

Don’t waste your money on a poor product from a company whose tech support is difficult to reach and not helpful. The worst is they haven’t honored their warranty.

I bought this through ShopSolarKits and their tech support hasn’t been any help either. Several sets of settings over five weeks that don’t work. I now own a $1300, 100lb brick that prevents me from renting my property.
