Hidden fees everywhere

Absolute terrible experience, I got hit with $96 worth of hidden fees. They charge fees that can't be found anywhere in their T&Cs, and when asking for a screenshot or directions to these fees they claim to be present somewhere? but without telling you where and just ghost you, this has happened three times now.

Their Consolidation is a total scam since they charge you a "Processing fee" per item after the 10th item/20th item (depending on weight), which just acts as a Consolidation fee by literal definition.

On top of that I got hit with a customs fee that is higher than the products value itself? For playing cards which literally have 0% customs or duties and only 15% VAT in my country.

And lastly they didn't want to accept the invoice of my one shipment multiple times, even though I bought a different product from the exact same place and that one's invoice got accepted, so I had to opt to have that product of mine thrown away because they would have started charging me $1.50 per day for storage fees. Support is so slow it's way cheaper to discard your products than sit with support while it incurs all sort of fees.

Will be filling a case at the BBB later this week.

Can't wait for the pitty, "Every customer matters" reply I'll probably be getting soon

Do not use this company

Do not use this company. Originally a good service .
Then out of the blue, received a bill for £154 … they just took it from my AX card they had on file, 1 month later . They said they had made a mistake and not charged me for the duty and taxes to the UK . I’m asking for proof at present . Want to see airway etc invoice.
Don’t seem to be able to get hold of anyone on the phone . 😩
4 days later.
Thank you PayPal . They refunded .Thank you resolution centre.

Avoid this SCAM! They steal your packages and overcharges you.

Avoid this SCAM!
They are holding your package hostage and adds fees to everything.
Expect the shipping to be 5x to 10x more than advertised.
They only try to charge you extra for new/other services that you do not want/need.
They overcharge you for the delivery.
"Suggesting" a severely higher cost service.
You could find the advertised shipping which is hidden in settings for the item in your account. But then they are adding other fees.
It ended up being almost 5x higher cost of the shipment than the item itself!
So I opted for a "free" return. But that was not free either it turns out.
Amazon could not pick it up.
I was in contact with their incompetent support that only could give generic copied answers. I spent more than a month emailing their "support" with generic copied answers back and forth. But no resolution or effort from myUS to solve it.
Eventually Amazon helped me with a refund and MyUS stole the item.
Avoid MyUS as the plague.
It will cost you a lot of money and/or even more time.
They make a living on scamming and overcharges their customers. Adding fees.
Their homepage which advertised their shipping fees is a complete lie. You will never come anywhere near that cost. Expect it to be 5-10 times higher. But I would avoid them at all times.

I trusted MyUS with a shipment worth…

I trusted MyUS with a shipment worth over $2,000, delivered from New York to their Sarasota warehouse.

They later told me they could not ship it internationally — which is false, as I have received similar shipments many times before. But instead of wasting time arguing, I offered a simple, fully legal solution: ship my package domestically within Florida to a friend in Miami.

This should have been trivial, especially since the package itself arrived to MyUS via USPS.

Their only response?

They offered me two options:
• Destroy my property
• Return it to the seller

Then they stopped responding entirely.

No replies. No updates. No explanation.

They are now holding my $2,000 package, refusing to forward it domestically, refusing to return it, and refusing to communicate.

This is not customer service.
This is not logistics.
This is not acceptable.

If you value your money, your time, and your peace of mind — avoid this company.

​"Having managed global logistics for over three years, I have never encountered such blatant incompetence. MyUS has devolved into a well-oiled machine for price-gouging and deceptive practices. What they call 'shipping solutions' is actually a logistical nightmare.
​It started with 'processing delays' at their Sarasota warehouse that lasted for weeks, followed by outrageous charges for 'overstay storage'—despite the fact that the items were marked 'Ready to Ship' since day one. The breaking point was their fraudulent calculation of Dimensional Weight. Their measurements were consistently inflated compared to the actual carrier data, and when confronted with proof, their support team responded with generic, scripted bot answers.
​They essentially held my business inventory hostage for two weeks over a fabricated 'special handling fee.' For any business that operates on strict SLA requirements: Stay as far away from MyUS as possible. They aren't just 40% more expensive once you factor in the hidden fees; they are a liability to your supply chain. Consider this a final warning."

Disappointed

I have been using MyUS for seven years without a single issue. However, recently, during this year, they have started to stray from their previous standards.

1. They overvalued my first package, and I had to contact them to correct it. That issue was eventually resolved.

2. The second package was also overvalued, but something strange happened: a setting was changed without my knowledge. I always keep my packages on hold until I review everything, but this time it was changed to automatic shipping, which cost me a lot in taxes due to the incorrect valuation.

3. The worst issue came with the third package. It arrived damaged with a crack. I submitted a claim since I had paid for insurance, but 21 days have passed with no progress on the claim.

4. My last package, which I now regret sending, has been stuck under review for a couple of weeks. Despite sending emails and trying their chat support, I have received no information on when it will be shipped.

It is truly a shame, because in previous years I had a very good experience with them. Unfortunately, this year they have changed significantly—and in the wrong direction.

Do not use this site

Do not use this site under any circumstances. They simply steal your money!!!! The purchased service cannot be canceled. They add another 10 dollars every week. I had a hard time getting my money back through PayPal. Thanks to PayPal.

My honest review of this company

My honest review of this company
Guys, I want to share my many years of experience with this company. I’ve made several transactions with them over the years. Some parcels indeed went smoothly. But keep in mind: as soon as anything goes even slightly off plan—special requests, specific questions about the goods—they will squeeze every last cent out of you.

Here are my cases:

Case 1.
I received a shipment and asked them to return it. One of their representatives told me that since I didn’t need the product, he had disposed of it. But I never asked them to throw it away —I specifically asked them to return it. When I requested proof, such as a protocol or documentation confirming disposal, he admitted there was none. I strongly suspect this person simply stole my goods and claimed they were disposal. I ended up losing $270.

Case 2.
I needed to send a parcel within the UK. They charged me an additional fee of nearly $45, saying it was because the shipment contained perfume and was classified as dangerous goods. To verify this, I later contacted the actual carrier who transported the package. The carrier confirmed to me directly that no such surcharge applied, since it was being shipped via ground delivery. In other words, they lied just to extract extra money from me.

Case 3. (the worst one)
I received another parcel and again requested a return to the sender. They deliberately dragged the process out. For weeks, I would send inquiries and only get generic template replies instead of clear answers. They stalled until the storage period expired. Earlier in the process, they reassured me—“we’re working on it, we’ll handle your request, we’ll ship it soon.” But once the storage deadline passed, their response changed: “We won’t be sending it anymore, now you owe us money.”

This has been going on for almost 3 months now. Imagine: a logistics company unable—or rather, unwilling—to return a parcel for three months. And now they’re trying to put the blame on me, just to squeeze more money out. In the end, it seems that they will simply keep my goods "hostage" and then take them for themselves again.



⚠️ My conclusion: Please, never in your life use this company. Some transactions may go through smoothly, but the moment you need their help with anything out of the ordinary, they will find a way to profit off you—dozens or even hundreds of dollars at your expense. They will do everything possible to drain you.

I don’t want to advertise other companies, but I strongly urge you: go with someone else. Never use this service. I hope this saves someone money.

It's been 6 weeks since my package was…

It's been 6 weeks since my package was received by US and it has still not been delivered. Every step of the process has been absolutely aweful.

1. When they received the package, they valued it at double the retail price (meaning I would be much more on import taxes). I contacted them within a few minutes of this happening so that they could correct it before shipping, but they went ahead anyway and said that I didn't contact them soon enough!

2. When the package landed in my country, it was held by customs and ultimately returned by to the US due to lack of document. MyUS then contacted me to say I had to provide additional document because my address is a "medical services company", which is completely incorrect (it's a residential condo with no businesses).

3. The package has still not been delivered, and the order has disappeared from my client dashboard. Basically, the package is gone and I've paid for nothing.

This is completely unacceptable service. My package is gone, my money is gone. Disgusting.

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.

MyUS is a dreadful

MyUS is a dreadful, over priced, unreliable service. They mismanaged my goods, significantly over quoted the value of my goods leading to more taxes, stuffed up the delivery and has appalling, incompetent customer service. They are a big scam.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

I signed up with this company in order to have a book parcel shipped from London to Australia. Parcel was delivered to their London hub within 24 hours but then the problems started. The tracking note says the parcel was despatched via Aramex on 8 July. On 10 July it is shown as being held by UK Customs. MyUS erroneously told me I needed to provide Aramex with a street address, but I couldn't because Aramex do not have the parcel. I have been trying for a week to find out what is going on and when I will receive my parcel. Emails are not responded to promptly and the best I get from their Chat is confirmation Aramex do not have the parcel. They have even ignored my request to close my account altogether as a result of their poor service. All I want to know is when I can expect my parcel and they can"t even tell me that. I have just been informed that because I have not taken up the option to pay more to have the parcel shipped to a street address the parcel has now been destroyed. Great service bearing in mind I gave them a street address when they told me (after charging my credit card of course) that the carrier would not deliver to a PO box .

I had to use MyUs.com to ship to DSW shoes…

I had to use them to ship to DSW shoes from US to Canada. I got an estimate to handle the $30 shoes at about $12 US. I was charged $ 54 for them to hand over the shoes to Fedex with an inflated value of $80 declared on the waybill. This left me with duties/tariffs of $ 58 on top. Even though they chatted with me twice and said they would correct the Fedex waybill nothing came of it.

Worst experience of my life.

Worst experience of my life.

The main reason I chose MyUS was to save money on shipping, but in the end, I might end up paying more. Let me explain.

After my items arrived at the warehouse, I contacted support and asked if it was possible to lower the declared value (to reduce customs fees). A support agent said “yes, of course” and told me to send the invoice. I sent it—but then she changed the declared value to an even higher amount than the original! She didn’t even consider the discount on my order and set the value completely wrong.

Because of this, I couldn’t use cheaper shipping methods either. Support claimed those are only available if the declared value is under $150—something that is not written anywhere on the site.

I went back and forth with support for a week, wasting my time trying to explain the issue. It honestly felt like nobody competent was handling the case. Eventually, they admitted it was their coworker’s mistake—but said they couldn’t fix it because the label was already attached. No apology. No compensation. Just “we can’t do anything.”

First time using My USshopping service

First time using My USshopping service. Had a great experience as everything worked out very well. I have heard some not great stuff that was mainly associated when Peeps where Ordering multiple items and then Shipping them when they are all together in one Package. I choose the free option of not signing up to anything and Shipping just one Package. The item was also quite expensive but I had 0 issues. The Shipping Cost was expensive but I don't know if that was because the Item was also expensive. I had the exact same item Ship from Japan for $50 less but the US item I bought was as mentioned alot more money to actually buy. Ultimately though MY US did a really great job.
