Beautiful Options, Shipping a toss-up

I have been shopping at Akira since it launched. Akira has so many beautiful Boutique items and it has always been fun and exciting to take a walk into their stores. Most of the time the quality is there across the board with their items but they do sell several items that are mid-quality. I've also been shopping from Akira online since they launched their e-commerce site. Unfortunately, I had a negative experience this go-around because Akira used a local courier, OnTrac for delivery. While I appreciate a fast shipping experience, the local courier was extremely unprofessional and did not deliver the package to the door and left it 20 ft away from the door out in the hot sun potentially damaging any sensitive-material items inside and leaving it exposed to potential theft. I would imagine that it Akira would want to make an investment in customer satisfaction by using professional couriers especially when you have customers who are purchasing high-ticket items and making expensive purchases but unfortunately this wasn't the case for my most recent purchase.

I payed $20 extra for 2 day shipping…

I payed $20 extra for 2 day shipping and my package came almost 5 days later.
