I have a charge on my card from this company. I don't even live in the UK. The bank want details but I can't find enough information on this Shop24care.com for the bank to initiate a fraud. This is a cyber crime and this needs to be dealt with as a crime

This is an absolute scam website. They intercepted an online verification I was making and sent me a verification code looking as though it was from my regular bank. Then they set up a regular payment to take from my account. DON'T TRUST THEM.

FRAUDULENT COMPANY HIDING BEHIND DIFFERING PARTNER NAMED FIRMS. Unwittingly must have scanned a barcode and was charged a 40.56 subscription. The bank can't refund even though I tried to stop the payment because it went through googlepay. When I contacted them I was told it was a subscription I set up with 'Just Content' but I can find no correspondence from them or, looking at that company, any reason why I'd use them. BEWARE
Scam and Fraud
Scam and Fraud. I was charged £39.99 for something that I have no clue; my bank said that it could be a travel insurance; I never requested any travel insurance and I never visited the website in question either. Scam Scam Scam

Scammers
As everyone else has said, this company's 'service' is to relieve you of £40.56 per month for an unspecified and inaccessible 'entertainment' package, which you never knowingly signed up for in the first place. Their modus operandi (at least in my experience) is to photobomb a service you actually were trying to sign up to via a QR code - with a helpful green 'ENTER' button below an invitation to 'activate your account'. You think this is a legitimate step in signing up for the service you actually wanted from a completely different company. I consider QR Code Scanner (from Gamma Play) is culpable for allowing this company access - and as there is no way to contact Gamma Play, I will be uninstalling their app. Full credit to Nationwide for blocking the payment!
Fraudulant Company
This company is only in the business of de-frauding people. I received an email from them 'confirming' a free trial (which I hadn't requested) and thanking me for joining. They said they hoped I enjoyed the entertainment! I immediately contacted the National Fraud number (159) and got through to my bank. They couldn't do anything until any cash was taken from my account, so I asked them to make a note on my account stating I had reported Shop24care as a potential fraud. I received a call from my bank Sunday regarding suspicious activity on my account - two attempts by Shop24care to take £40.56 from my account. I rang the bank back this morning and, fortunately, my account had been frozen so no payment was actually taken. I now have to wait for a replacement card. I don't really know how the fraud happened but think it was while setting up a new smart TV and scanning a QR code to connect the various smart services. Probably best to go direct to the various websites to connect a new smart TV rather than use the QR codes!!!!
Beware of this scam!
This outfit are scammers! My Virgin Bank fraud people stopped payment of £40.56 a few minutes ago, good for them! I have had no dealings whatever with these scammers. My card has been cancelled and a replacement being issued, a small price to pay!
Scam £40.56
Like all the others, they attempted to take £40.56 from my credit card, my bank txt me saying it had been declined, called the bank as I didn't want to click on anything, they said it has been set up as a subscription, which i never set up,bank has blocked them and my credit card and re issuing a new card
Scam Alert!
Just came her and realized that these people are actually into the business of scamming, and it's always £40.56. They picked this amount twice from my new credit card within 2 weeks, and I had to angrily close my account with the credit firm. Whatever this is called, is a big scam zone. BEWARE!
Appalling Scam - Disgusted
Like many of you before I also have been scammed for GBP 40.56 on my credit card. The HSBC could not stop the pending payment and I had to block my card and have to wait 4 days for a new one, with a new number and all the inconvenience that comes with that. I reported them to the HSBC fraud department who did not pick it up as fraudulent like I read many banks have. This happened to me on a UAE credit card so it looks this scum is spreading its net. I have written requesting a refund but won't hold my breath because evil like this has no conscience.
Terrible company
Terrible company. Complete scammers. Do not trust them. Trying to take money from my account with no subscription.
Scam company
Shop24care have tried to take 40.56 on two separate occasions. I contacted my bank and they issued me with a new card and put a block on the company taking anything from my account.
