They lied about order

The only reason I ordered from Nordstrom was because I was getting a free gift that came with my lancome purchase, otherwise I would have just gone into our local Macy's store and bought it that day. But they lied about my free gift, told me the free gift was canceled but couldn't cancel my lancome order because it was preparing to ship "for 11 days" How is that not a lie? At least offer to cancel the order. Evil greedy company.

If I could give 0 stars to Nordstrom I would

I am writing to share my deep disappointment with how Nordstrom has handled a serious issue regarding their gift cards and customer protection.

I received a $500 Nordstrom gift card as a Christmas gift from a family member. I used it once to make a purchase of about $130, leaving a remaining balance of approximately $370. However, when I attempted to use the card again just two months later during a sale, I was shocked to discover that the balance was $0.00. After contacting customer service, I was informed that the remaining funds had been stolen the very next day after my initial purchase.

What was even more concerning was the response I received. The customer service representative admitted that this type of fraud occurs frequently with Nordstrom gift cards and transferred me to the fraud department. Unfortunately, instead of taking accountability or offering a resolution, the fraud department dismissed my concerns and advised me to file a police report.

This is deeply troubling. Nordstrom has the ability to track where, when, and how a gift card is used, yet no effort was made to investigate or protect me as a customer. A company of Nordstrom’s reputation should take gift card security seriously and ensure that customers are not left vulnerable to theft.

Terrible customer service!!! They dont help and they don't care!

Return fees were literally 40% of refund due!!

No thanks - there are plenty of GOOD and reputable department online stores

The store I used to love is gone.

The store I used to love is gone.
This Christmas was a nightmare.
Several unprecedented problems:
1. I attempted to cancel an order IMMEDIATELY after ordering. (I'd accidentally written the size wrong.)
Nordstrom would not allow me to cancel!
It was a gift. I have to wait until the person receives it, and they will have to trouble themselves returning it.
2. I bought an item and tried to return it. Another nightmare: Nordstrom set a time for me to put gift on doorstep for pickup. But pickup NO SHOWED.
i contacted Nordstrom. They set up for pickup the next day. I woke up early, it was raining, so I wrapped item in plastic, put it on the door step, and again, pickup NEVER SHOWED UP.
I contacted Nordstrom a THIRD time. I will get up early yet again. Will pickup come? Don't know.
But let me tell you WHY I am returning the $100 cashmere sweater. First, it looks NOTHING like the picture. It fits like a baggy sweatshirt. Even worse: it sheds and sheds. I washed it 7 times, and get fistfulls of gobby lint. This sweater HAS to be a hazard to the lungs. Why is Norstrom selling crap?
I've bought from them for years.
I don't know what's going on, but I am no longer a customer.

I had great experience with this company i always shop with them if I have a problem with anything I order from them they have no problem taking it back an issuing out a refund.
