Horrible people
Booked an appointment and went into the EE shop in Wakefield a few weeks ago hoping to get a broadband contract.
We were told we couldn’t be seen at the time we booked because they were busy. We came back after 30 mins as they’d said they’d see us there.
We had to wait 45 mins and eventually the manager Josh Blakemore came out . He said he was going in the back and would only be a few minutes . He disappeared and didn’t come back . I asked a colleague to go find him.
After a few minutes she came back out laughing and said that he was praying.
I know someone who works for EE and knows the staff there. They told me he regularly goes in the back room and plays on the PS5.
Needless to say I won’t be touching EE with a 20 foot sh#tty barge pole in the future.
Rude customer service
Went in to EE in Peterborough about getting a SIM only contract and Paul was very rude to me - felt like I was being talked down to the entire time! Will be going elsewhere.
New SIM card rep’s Passport or Driving License ID
I required a new replacement SIM card. They required passport and/or driving license as id. I have neither. NIGHTMARE. Zero stars on TrustPilot and Facebook.
Not very helpful
Called to discuss by Bill and possible contract renewal.. customer service very unhelpful
Racist store and manager
Awful store .. European managers one named Pat is a racist and deserves to get sent back home to her country where she belongs. Cheating people of their money and giving £120 tablets on 24 month contracts is a disgrace. They pressure you to say Yes and when you come back to say No you cheated me they act like they do not know you.

Shah was excellent - thank you!
Thank you EE
I visited about a problem with my phone to the Grimsby shop. It was sorted by a young man from the N.East, think his name was Tom. He asked about my Broadband Package and said they could do it cheaper. He explained clearly and said I could take information and let them know later, which is what I normally do. I decided to set it up then as he was genuine. I am very glad I did as it has saved me approximately £50 a month. I have full fibre broadband and a lot of TV Channels and a phone line. I am very pleased
Awful experience..Customers be warned1
An awful experience at the online shop..be warned.
I bought a TV online before Xmas for my holiday let.
I opened it later after Xmas when the holiday restarted.
I found the TV had a shattered screen ....no damage to box but the TV useless.
The shop did not want to know! This attitude says it all, this is how they always behave with customer complaint for merchandise that is unfit for use on delivery .
People be warned they hide behind paperwork and one should be mindful purchasing anything from this group.
Dr. Slade
Excellent service.
Visited the Scarborough shop. Excellent customer service from assistant Kayleigh. Very patient with me - I'm not a tech whizz-kid by any stretch of the imagination. No hard sell - various options expalined. Managed a good reduction on my current BT broadband contarct.

Refused to do my warranty repair…
Refused to do my warranty repair because of a scratch Samsung then sent someone else to fix my phone waist of a 40 miles round trip. whilst I was there witnessed staff bullying an old lady not to leave. Disgusting staff behavior

Would put no star rating if that was an option. Went into the Redcar store Thursday/Friday. The young male (I would say man or gentleman but he was anything but) he was ignorant and rude. 2 members of staff in there and he wasn't even listening properly to what we were saying and had no intention to. He looked away from us all the time looking around the shop looking bored.. My mother has a problem with her phone and also her contract is up this week. He wasn't interested. I'm getting her to change company now. Disgraceful. Need to be sacked and any new staff need strict training sessions on customer service.

Worest customer service ever experience, fault on new phone, no attempt made to help, in fact was told there was screen damage and it would cost £200 to fix!!!!
Then the best line ever, "oh you in Glasgow? You need go back there"
Really, avoid if you want any help, this is not the shop to get it!!!
Avoid unless you want to pay £1300 for an empty cardboard box
Bought a laptop from ee-store online, instead of the laptop I was sent an empty cardboard box, paid over £1350 for this and ee customer service have responded to say that as I ‘received’ the package it’s not their problem and they will neither refund the money, nor send the laptop I have paid for. Avoid at all costs.
Unprofessional
I went in for technical help in my local which is the Edgware branch. I needed to connect my phone to my watch. The lady that attended to me was so unprofessional. As she was dealing with me, she was talking about her meal, talking to her other colleagues and was overly too relaxed as she crossed her legs relaxed her back whereas me as the customer had a stool to sit on . She went back and forte with the job and in the end she left me to attend to others after wasting my 45mins not getting the job done. I obviously was tired so I got up to leave. She saw me leaving and just turned her back to me. I don't think I will ever go back to the branch. And if I do I will be asking for another agent to attend to me. I really should have got her name but she is not difficult to remember because of her attitude.
EE shop could not help me try EE
I am preparing to change my mobile company seeking a better signal.
Found a no contract SIM deal on the official website but went to an EE shop as Royal Mail rarely delivers any post here.
Staff in the shop told me they can only do "contracts". They kindly sent me to Tesco and I now have PAYG SIM using the O2 network. A month's use of that will help me decide if it is the one for me.
Turned away for pre-arranged repair from Peckham EE store because I wouldn't buy a new phone from them!
When I arrived at the Peckham EE Store for an appointment to get a phone repair (arranged by the EE helpline), I was told they don't do repairs or send phones off for repairs. They insisted I should upgrade my phone instead. I told them the tech helpline assured me they do deal with repairs and even their website says so. The assistant insisted they didn't. He also initially told me my phone was not covered by EE's Lifetime Warranty – it is! I went home again and called the general EE helpline. They said this absolutely should not have happened and I was effectively lied to, and they have logged it. It seems as though this store has one aim – to push new phones and contracts on you, so if you're looking for repairs or anything else – even if it says so on their website - don't bother. Awful customer service!
Would give this company 0 stars if…
Would give this company 0 stars if possible. Ordered PS5 online and paid full amount for device to be delivered to my parents address as won't be at home. Received confirmation email saying order had gone through. Following day received email asking for proof of address for "extra security checks" sent that off. Took them 72 hours to reply back saying that bank statement provided is not in the correct address as shows my billing address. Why give the option to get the item delivered to a different address if it only causes issues. Sent statement with correct address and now again they don't bother to reply back to emails. Am so glad that am not a customer of theirs on the network. Coz if that's how they treat people then it's absolutely disgusting. Clearly they don't want me to buy the product outright as even in store they was saying I was unable to purchase outright but could take it out on a contract if I wanted too. Company should be reported to the FCA for misleading customers. Joke of a company
Having gave EE 1 star before I must…
Having gave EE 1 star before I must admit has been better lately. Upgrade done without fuss although pricing is becoming very expensive last time I upgraded I could trade phone in or pay £100 this time was trade or £495 for a 22 month old iPhone 14 Pro.
Went to the competition who were way more efficient.
When we arrived to pick up the phone previously agreed in store a day after they said the phone would be delivered it was not there. They struggled to find the paper work and they were complaining their broadband WiFi was too slow to enable their systems to work! This is a company that purports to supply broadband services! It was an appalling service. My wife was then completely put off and we went across the road to the Vodaphone store and the process could not have been smoother. However poor the service was at EE shop the staff were however polite , personable and trying to do their best but the end result was a shambles.
