BitAxe touch gamma
On the 29th of May 2025 I placed an order for a BitAxe touch gamma.
I got it on the 21st of July 2025 after release and apart from paying import duties I was very pleased with it.
On the 13th of December 2025 I reported excessive fan noise to the support email and asked how to fix it. There was no reply.
On the 10th of March 2026 the fan noise was so loud it sounded like the bearings were failing. I sent another email to the support address. This time I got a reply from another address simply listing the address and phone number of the company. I live in the UK but I think they want me to return the unit for repair.
If I do return it I will be paying international shipping and any customs duties on return packages, making it not really worth it. The company will also incur import duties for the defective unit and internal postage to get the working unit back to me. So they would be out of pocket too.
Edit: I have sent a video of the issue. Still no one has reached out. Hence the reduction in star rating and my growing reluctance to buy direct from America, goods from China may be cheap and lesser quality but I always get help if something goes wrong
