Bilstein 5100’s installed in 2018 GMC…
Bilstein 5100’s installed in 2018 GMC Sierra 2500 with no issues. The ride is smooth and controlled. Haven’t had it off-road yet, but prior road imperfections as almost unnoticed now. Shipping was fast and well packaged. Thank you for a great service.

Big help with shocks and leveling
Guys were really helpful… I have a partial unicorn in a 21 Toyota tundra sport 4 x 4 that sits a bit lower than a normal TRD 4 x 4.I wanted more of a leveling situation but still a little tail high because I tow sometimes. Guys set me up with 6112s and Springs at the lowest setting that’s still allowed me to run 34’s.

Bought front struts
Bought front struts, rear shocks, and upper control arms on 1/16 and it is now 2/3 everything showed up except my upper control arms that still say unstick with a couple day shipping. I messaged them multiple times getting responses of I’ve reached out to the warehouse I’ll update you when I hear something. So I called twice on was an AI answering machine the other was a person. The guy said the managers see the order and they are in communication and I should hear something back by the end of the day. This was about 4 days ago and I haven’t heard a thing but my order still says they didn’t fulfill it yet. All they do is give you the run around. The prices were good that’s why it’s 2 stars but the prices don’t mean anything if they don’t fulfill your order

Just to clarify that the FedEx tracking number for your upper control arms was provided on 2/3, and the shipment is currently showing as in transit with FedEx with a tentative delivery date of 2/4 by EOD. Our management team is looking into this issue to see what went wrong and were we can improve.

This was my first time purchasing shocks for my truck. I have a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and was looking for a strut and shock package that would be best for my daily driver that also hauls a couple of adventure motorcycles and tows motorcycle trailer on occasion. Mostly pavement with the occasional dirt road nothing technical.
I used the online chat to get some more advice, and the chat personal was professional and knowledgeable.
I was able to make a decision and went with the 5100 kit for my 2020 Chevy Silverado RWD. They got them to me in 3 business days.
Excellent selection, professional knowledgeable staff make shopping EZ. Combined with competitive pricing and Fast Sipping make it an EZ purchase.

One of the boxes was missing its kit
One of the boxes was missing its kit, so I didn't have a new rubber bushing on one of them. And when shipped to me, the two shock sizes came in on separate days. Other than that, they are great so far and easy to install.

Great product with timely delivery
Great product with timely delivery. I was a little disappointed about the rake on my 2013 Tacoma because it was supposed to still sit with level but the new coil overs dropped the front 1/2". I can live with it because it's too much work to take them out and adjust the lock ring

Let me start by saying the Bilstein 6112 Struts are very nice. The ride quality has improved tremendously since the install on my Tundra.
The customer support was a challenge. I ordered the strut and spring assembled with rear 5100 shocks. I was not aware the rear shock are back ordered. I think it should let you know when you have them in your cart or at checkout that this item is on back order. I did not know until I contacted shock surplus on week 3 inquiring why I have not received my order. It is extremely frustrating not to be able to talk to customer service on the phone. The back and forth on the chat box is definitely not the most efficient way to resolve issues. Especially when they my not reply until the following business day through email. Someone from customer service called me finally and told me my strut assembly would go out in a couple of days and I would receive a tracking number. I received a tracking number for another persons order. Again back to communication through email and the chat box. Another week goes by and I receive another email with a tracking order for my struts. It took a month to receive the struts that were in stock. I still do not have an ETA on when the shocks will ship.
Hope the customer service gets better, and I receive my rear shocks soon

The assembled Bilstein 6112s you ordered had an estimated three week lead time at the time of purchase, which was listed on our website. Once an order for pre-assembled components is placed, our team begins sourcing and preparing the parts as the order enters the production queue. Because many of the components we sell move quickly, inventory levels and availability can shift, and we do our best to manage backorders as efficiently as possible. While this does not change the frustration you experienced, we wanted to provide clarity on the timeline and process. Our agent has worked to keep you updated with the information we had available from the manufacturer and also offered to help you find comparable parts that were in stock and ready to ship. We appreciate your patience while we worked to provide the most accurate updates possible.
