Very professional and made my move seamless!

Our estimator, Nicholas, was excellent throughout. Other aspects of the move were not "stress-free" as they advertise. There were communication glitches, one move took extremely longer than expected. I would not say that I would never use them again, but I would be curious to try another mover first.

I have no real complaints about my moving experience with Shleppers. The guys were all very courteous and respectful. My one grievance was that the truck was left downstairs on the street open with no supervision for a period of time. Otherwise, the experience was a very positive one.

Shleppers was great with service and speed. A 10/10. However, I had to throw out one of my shelving units because some of the wood got chipped off and pieces were falling apart.

Shleppers showed up on time and worked as a good quick team.
They were helpful when there was a need to re-pack or install something.
No one told me how much the boxes should weigh, so the ones that were considered heavy were re-packed immediately at ADDITIONAL cost to me.
My contract stated that they take all the paintings, they only took one, conveniently forgetting the others.
Some glasses broke while being transported, but that happens - no biggie.
They were throwing and tossing my stuff around the new apartment trying to do everything as soon as possible, installing the sliding doors of the cabinets the wrong way.
The bed frame didn't fit in the elevator, so two guys carried it on the stairs, while their chief was explaining to me that I should reward them extra for doing that.
And I did - $150 extra in addition to a 20% tip. Did I hear a "thank you"? Well... They did call me, but were so busy sharing cash, that their main guy instead of leaving me a normal vm, just went on talking to his crew: "I don't care that you wanted to bang her! She's a nice lady, she gave us the money...", etc. I am not even sure I was flattered...
All in all they DO their job. But it kinda sucks that they send a nice adequate person to make a contract, and then the people who do the actual job change the rules and the price.

THE MOVERS, WHO ACTUALLY HANDLE YOUR STUFF, WERE, IN MY EXPERIENCE, JUST GREAT.

Shleppers was great, no surprises, the price that was quoted was what I paid. The movers themselves were very nice and courteous and went out of their way to keep us up to date during the move. We got completely done in a reasonable amount of time for what we had to move. Use them and you'll be good.

I've used Shleppers in the past and loved them! This time, I wasn't as impressed. The highlights: 1) They couldn't get my couch out (after I stressed to the relocation guy that I was worried about that) they kept saying it was standard and wasn't going to be a problem. The day of the move we had to frantically call a company to come take apart our couch, and put it back together in the new place. It was an extra $500 cost to us along with much stress and anxiety of having half a sectional until 9 pm that night. 2) They left my son's fisher price swing. We had to go back over the next day and get it ourselves. It's pretty bulky and we had just paid a lot of money to have movers... 3) They left all of the contents of our fridge and freezer. Again, we had to go back and retrieve ourselves. 4) We paid to be packed. They didn't do a great job. The one item I stressed to them to be careful with was broken. Luckily I found all of the pieces and I guess there will be crazy glue in my future. 5) One of the guys yelled at a neighbor. She yelled first because the truck was blocking her exit from our garage, but you don't yell back. I have to live with these people. Now I feel like those neighbors probably hate us beaches our movers were rude. To be clear, most of the crew was very polite, but there's always one! Needless to say, I'm not sure we would use them again.

I have moved many times in NYC over the past 10 years. Each time I have used a different mover because I have not been satisfied. Going forward I will only use Shleppers and will definitely request Benjamin's team! I am an anxious mover and Benjamin could not have been more courteous, professional and patient. I commend Shleppers on finding him!

The movers did such a great job! They were on-time, incredibly respectful and helpful and loaded up/unpacked my stuff in record time. I would recommend them wholeheartedly to anybody looking to make a move!

We hired Shleppers to move our things from our apartment, store it for several weeks, and ultimately deliver it to our new home.

The storage was invisible to us; and they made sure to warn us that we wouldn't have access to our things while in storage. No problems that I'm aware of.

But I have to say that the movers themselves were great. They came on time, were friendly and professional, did their job quickly, and moved all of our things (both in and out) with no problems and no damage.

Realistically, it could not have been smoother, we were very pleased.
