Professional and friendly service start to end
Travelling from London to rural Wales during the festive period can be stressful. Last minute train cancellations, missed connections, and weather issues, but that all changed once we discovered Shire Taxi.
Seeing Subrata waiting for us at the station, car doors open and ready makes our journey so much more enjoyable. Have you ever driven in a taxi with Christmas decorations? We hadn't until recently.
You can expect to be greeted with a big smile and great conversation, making a packed and stuffy train journey easy to forget. Subrata is responsive and helpful throughout the booking process, and you can be certain if he says he'll be there, then he will. I can't recommend his services enough if you're travelling to or from the Abergavenny area.
We look forward to travelling with you again in the future!

Fantastic company!
Shire taxi was great! The driver was very prompt and responsive to messages, and was very friendly throughout the journey! One of my favourite things was being able to book through WhatsApp, as it is so easy to send him my destination, and I didn't have to worry about the pronunciation of some of the Welsh names! I went somewhere a bit remote, and he waited to make sure I met my friends before leaving. 10/10!

Stayed in the area and used SHIRE the day we arrived, was able to find our location and give accurate time of arrival. Clean car, well spoken driver, and knowledgeable of the area. Used the service for the remainder of our stay! Thank you, you made our trip that more memorable and hassle free.

Great service, super clean car, friendly and safe driver. Drove us one way from Abergavenny to Newport on short notice and picked us up within 10 minutes of calling. Will gladly use Shire Taxi again in the future.
