The first five orders went well

The first five orders went well, these people had American names. Today, I was given a shopper with a foreign name. He said he was able to get into my building and delivered the items, which were nowhere in sight. I checked the lobby, and my items weren't there. This man sent me a harmful, threatening text message after he claimed he delivered my groceries. I feel my safety is in danger. I will escalate this issue to ICE and the FBI. This is why illegal migrants don't need to be working for delivery services. Women harmed by these men can sue Target. Attorneys get ready to take on Target for putting us in danger. I just know this man didn't pass a background check. He's bold.

Initially, I didn’t have a problem with shipt I was making great money. I started September 3 of 2025. I got kicked off October 11, 2025 because they said you need to keep an on time delivery percentage of 90% but the thing is I have a full-time job so when I was getting off my work, I would pull up the shipt orders and see one and accept it and I wasn’t looking at the time so by the time I accept it it would say potential late delivery so I will call them and say hey it’s saying it’s gonna be late but I just accepted it the operator told me don’t worry about that because you have a 30 minute grace period. One lady told me she had been waiting for her order to be filled for four hours. I accepted her order at 8:45 PM. Her order was supposed to be delivered between 9 and 10 PM. She had 39 items coming out of Kroger‘s and she had backup items for the items that I could not find so the grocery shopping for someone who has 39 items is gonna take time. You have to learn the aisles. You have to find what they’re looking for if they don’t have it find the backup that’s gonna take time shipt doesn’t monitor the times the shoppers take the orders. They don’t monitor the time it’s supposed to be delivered but they should have someone that says OK. It’s gonna take her some time to grocery shop. Let’s move the slot from 10 to 11 instead of the 9 to 10 Mark, the lady who groceries I delivered she gave me a $15 tip so yeah she was upset about her order sitting on hold for four hours but had I not did it it would’ve never got done because she was already waiting four hours for it to be completed. I took it at 8:45 after doing two target orders the next morning which was October 11 I was told that because I don’t keep a 90% one time delivery that I am deactivated, but I don’t think shipt realizes my schedule they don’t look at when I take the orders a lot of those times I took the orders late because I had just got off of work and I saw them and I was like oh let me go grab this. I wasn’t really even paying attention to the time they should send a warning that says hey if you take this order, it’s gonna be a potential late delivery let us move the slot up for you before you accept it so that you want get kicked off the app I made $656.this week and they kicked me off the app. This is how I get my extra money. This is how i buy groceries this how I keep gas in my car to get back-and-forth to work and they kicked me off that but it’s fine because I’m gonna go to Spark and work for Walmart and I’ll go back to do DoorDash. I really enjoy grocery shopping for people. I had 10 preferred customers on there that hired me to be there preferred shoppers they tipped me well I’m telling you If I could screenshot a picture of how much money I made from September 3 to October 10 it was great money but shipt is more concerned about deliveries being on time than getting deliveries out which that should be the case regardless if I’m on time or not, you should be happy that I even took that order in and processed it and completed it and delivered it you should be happy that I accepted the order because it set on y’all order sheet for four hours instead I got penalized for even taking the order even though she was waiting four hours for her groceries other than that, I don’t really have anything negative to say about ship far as making money, but their rules are really strict its terrible that they just take it away from you like that and then they tell you can file appeal but from the reviews, I’ve seen most people who file appeal. They cannot get their account back so this is a really strict app and it’s sad because they lost a good worker and I had a bunch of customers that love the fact that I took my time grocery shopping. I communicated with them. I took pictures for them to show them. Hey, they don’t have this item, but they have this item and they love the fact that and every time I dropped off their order next thing you know it’ll say this person wants you to be their preferred shopper accept or decline. I always accept before I knew it I had 10 people on my list shipt took that away from them took it away from me. That’s it’s real sad is bad and I don’t like that part of shipt and they need to fix that or they’re gonna have a bunch of people who are not gonna go through their app to get groceries because you let a woman sit on your order sheet for four hours and when a driver finally came alone and accepted it you kicked that driver off the app for accepting a delivery that was sitting. There for four hours before she even knew about it .

Most shoppers are unreliable and LIE. Lie that they are on the way, lie that they have delivered (mark as delivered just before the window is over). Then cancel or return your order when you call them out. DO NOT USE SHIPT because they won't care if the shoppers screw you over.

Use with caution and awareness

Use with caution. If things go perfectly then it’s great. If you have problems with the order their default resolution is posting a credit your “account” which expired in 30 days. This means you paid for groceries that are damaged or missing but they are not compelled to offer a refund for that money. It is an unacceptable practice. Instacart and reputable companies credit your credit card. Shipt needs to reconsider how they handle problems. The first response should be refund. Not an expiring credit. I am leery to use this company going forward since I had to fight for a real refund.

Disappointment

Usually I don’t have issues, but from time to time Shipt likes to hold money and claim your bank account is the issue. When in fact SHIPT can’t fix the technical issue they have with the banking system. Working in IT, (shipt being my part time) I know it could be a glitch or some kind of technical glitch but they shouldn’t blame the customer! Accountability and transparency is something the company should try to embrace more!

Refusal to Delete Account

Today was my first time using Shipt but it wasn't my choice, but Targets (they own them and use them for local deliveries). Using Shipt had been the very worst experience I havd ever had with any delivery service due to multiple reasons. 1) I got no tracking emails about my pack; 2) My package was delivered to the wrong address and I had to walk around my community looking for it due to no identifying information on the delivery picture I received; 3) Just to find out where my package was I created a Shipt account with no membership attached, but now they refuse to delete that account. I spoke with a live agent that said it would he deleted in about 45 days only yo receive emails that they can't locate the account. I just can't with these businesses holding on to our information to inflate their numbers of customers using their services or buying their products. Deleti6an account with Shipt shouldn't be this complicated.

Terrible customer service

Every hour they sent me a text saying it would now be an hour later than they said. I called and they said they couldn't find a shopper yet. After the second change in delivery time I called and got an off-shore woman who said, "Don't worry, you're top priority." An hour later, they move the time forward again. I call and get an off-shore guy and this time I cancel. But it's not the right amount . Guy is useless, repetitive, not listening. I have to call my bank and now tomorrow I'll probably have to call again. I had been, initially, so happy about escaping from DoorDash and Instacart. Ha. This was in Cincinnati. Horrible, time-consuming experience.

Absolute garbage company. Took my money and then put a hold on my account. Then they cancelled my order and put a hold on my account. They refused to tell me why and said I had to email some obscure department to get a response. Unreal. And I have spent thousands on Instacart. Wanted to give Shipt a chance. Waste of time.

Horrible company to work for. Unfair rating system

Horrible company to work for they don't pay well and the reviews system sucks you can have 94 5 star reviews and any customer that is trying to scam them to get there money back can easily rate you one star and go from 5 star to 4.8 and then when you get to 4.7 you lose your job. It's ridiculous and causes so much anxiety especially for the fact that you cannot see the reviews to even improve if needed to.

Untrustworthy company and an overall scam

Absolutely TERRIBLE company and service. This is the second time they decided not to deliver my items. I received no phone call, no communication. My items were picked up from the store, never delivered, and returned to the store. I have over 20 cameras and was home all day. The driver NEVER attempted to deliver the items, but simply returned them to the store and the store cancelled my order due to this. Absolutely horrible customer service and an untrustworthy company.

Delayed my simple $31.00 order twice. Then they decided to push it off until the next day. Why the EFF would you take the order and tell me TWICE delaying my order into the next day especially when the order came in long before 8 PM? You people are, in one word, PATHETIC. Customer service.....what service? No one takes the call as you're on hold for eternity because they are PATHETIC. This is undoubtedly a blue company with even more blue workers who simply cannot do their one and only job yet demand more than they'll ever be worth. Again, PATHETIC.

Very deceptive experience - Do not recommend

Very deceptive experience. Recently, the service has been getting worse and worse. I had my last order canceled without any message from my shopper, who didn't read my note about the address. Instead, they immediately called Shipt service support, who then advised canceling everything without informing me. This all happened in about 20 minutes, without my knowledge. I would really recommend going somewhere else if you haven't paid for the full year yet.

Customer-Friendly???

First thing, I confirmed that my retailer, Safeway, was partnered with Shipt. I read through all the "Exceptions" before creating my Order through Shipt, which took me almost 1 hour--OK for a first-time. However, upon check-out, my method of payment, SNAP-EBT (food stamps), was NOT accepted, and I immediately called Shipt's Customer Svc. for clarification. I reached a surly young man who was completely unconcerned with my situation. When I suggested he report this issue to his management for correction or mitigation, he basically blew me off. Of course I canceled my Order. I also let Safeway know of my experience.
