Highly Recommend ShipSkis
The service Ship Skis provides is fantastic. The booking process was easy. We had a hitch with pick up which was one day late but the Customer Service support guided us through the process. The drop off was on time and very fast. We delivered items to Australia and were expecting issues on our end with Customs but there were none. Would highly recommend their service.

I have used other ski shipping services and ShipSkis is the best service I've used. I just completed a round-trip ski shipment from NYC to Utah and the value, quality of service, communications, and support I received from ShipSkis places them in a class all their own.
The people and staff were top notch but…
The people and staff were top notch but fed ex was poor at best. They broke one of my latches to my ski bag and it came back filthy as if it was dragged through the dirt and ground. Terrible!! Someone should compensate me for this since I will have to deal with it.
Got the skis home, but it was a trial for sure.
In the end, I got my skis and I got them quickly, so it worked out, but to get there was quite a challenge. Upon booking online, I was nervous about the dedicated drop off spot in Italy. It took several back and forth emails over weeks to identify where I should drop it off. When I was in Italy, I took it to the first place. They said they can't accept the bag. So I went to another place we had discussed in the email thread - same thing. They don't take DHL bags. I ended up getting a taxi service to take me 45 minutes to the next town to a DHL servicepoint shop. At first they said they wouldn't take it either (!!!) but then they called the driver and he said he could take it. Once I left it, the bag arrived quickly. But that was insanely inconvenient. I'm being generous with three stars.
First time experience with ShipSkis
My skis were delivered on time as promised by ShipSkis to both my ski destination as well as the return to my home. FedEx picked up the shipment from my home within the window as promised so I didn’t have to deliver to the carrier. Great experience and will definitely use again.

Everything went as expected
Everything went as expected. It’s not an inexpensive service, but I believe it’s worth it. Made our ski trip travel much easier. It was so cool showing up at our rental condo and seeing our skis there already.

Even my cute bag tags were still intact
Not only did we receive our boot bag and our ski bag far more quickly than anticipated, I was shocked to find that all my personalized leather bag tags, even the JetBlue Mint tags, and the two custom embroidered handle covers I keep on them were still fully intact and completely undamaged! I had intended to remove all these personal items from the bags and when I realized I hadn’t, I just sort of wrote them off as I should’ve known better. So to discover that all my personal tags were still pristine, and the bags still super clean, I was certain ShipSkis treated our items far more gently than even we have.

Very easy to arrange. The Fed Ex office in Bend OR was incredibly helpful. Skis arrived in MA in a very timely fashion in great condition. And it was a great deal with a discount that popped up on Instagram!

This was our first time using ship skis. We had a great experience! I spoke with the customer service line directly. They helped me and answered all of my questions. When I made the reservation online, I forgot to enter in the discount code they were advertising. When I called, they graciously gave me a refund for the discount. Our snowboard bags arrived at our home earlier than we expected. I would definitely use them again.
