Never used this. App would not download. The customer service number is not in service. They autorenewed the subscription too with no warning. Super unethical and clearly a junk app.

Great marketing, poor competitive rates.

I was going to try it but honestly the price tag is a little high when looking at very similar competitors. I’m also in Canada so USD exchange rate makes it even more steep.

Emily Skye and Kayla Itsines apps offer very similar features and programs customizable with home work outs, recipes, grocery list and community support for a fraction of the price. Monthly around $20 CAD or less. This is much more reasonable and honestly for this I don’t know why anyone would sign up for this subscription.

My recommendation is to do some more competitive research and close the gap and maybe your conversion would increase and drop off rate would decrease.

Good idea though. I really was excited to try before I saw even the 50% discounted price is like $40 USD a month which is probably like 50/60 CAD and I don’t know if that discount price stays monthly. The full amount would run Canadians close to $100 a month for an app… literally no point when other apps offer the same programs for a quarter of that price,

canceling my subscription

Emailed to cancel my subscription and received a reply within the day from Kendra who was extremely helpful and friendly. She offered some alternative options, however, was happy to continue with the cancellation of my subscription as per my request which was done promptly. Very good customer service.

Total Rip-off

Total Rip-off! I signed up for their $39 trial with 30 day money back guarantee. They immediately charged me $190. I called/emailed to dispute and they refused to give to give the money back. Do not work with this company. They steal your money!!

I cancelled the membership as I hadn’t…

I cancelled the membership as I hadn’t realised it was a monthly subscription and therefore not something I wanted. I then contacted customer service and emailed with Abram who replied very quickly and acknowledge everything I stated and was very helpful in cancelling my membership for me. Very good service from Abram

The app was okay, not very customizable and the water tracking feature didn't eork. The customer service was okay.

great app

I really like this app and how straightforward it is to use. In my opinion it’s worth every penny! The recipes are delicious and I love that I’m doing all that I can to live a healthy lifestyle with Shift.

Excellent customer service from Kendra

Kendra assisted with the cancellation of the subscription in a timely fashion. She was empathetic, compassionate and transparent during all communication. A real asset to the team.

Great App

Shift is a very good app with good workouts and recipes. I totally love it and the only reason I'm not gonna use it anymore is because I found a personal nutritionist but shift is amazing.

The same thing happened to me As the NZ…

The same thing happened to me As the NZ reviewer. Shift is a straight up scam. They say one thing in their videos and do the very opposite in practice. I also only wanted to try their “special” of $39 and supposed to be lifetime access according to the video and with a 30 day refund policy (again according to their video) and they ended up charging me almost 200 dollars then claiming it’s non refundable!!! When I realized the overcharge within the hour I wrote to cancel and the took their time responding and then gave some obscure part of their site as the reason to why it was non refundable. But that information was NOT in the video or the page they scam you with. They are dishonest in their presentation and out of principle I would NEVER recommend this app to anyone!

Update: 13. March
So as I continued to try to argue with them about the fact of their dishonest practice they. They have the audacity to continue writing the same thing over and over as if they have said well our terms and conditions were clearly stated BEFORE I clicked the button.

No it was not. Just because you keep reiterating a lie doesn’t make it true. I unsubscribed from their email listing only to continue to receive emails from them. And now they write on my review saying their terms and conditions were clear.

Please if you are thinking of joining this program don’t. Save your money, your nerves and energy and your desire to reach your goals to seek out an honest company that is offering an honest product that will meet your needs and not fall into this black hole frustration of dealing with a dishonest company that slams you with overcharges and dishonest advertising and swindle you out of your hard earned money.
