Potential customers be AWARE

Potential customers please be aware before placing your order.

I purchased a shed from this company at a price of £609. I was a bit sceptical after placing the order to receive a message saying the order would only be actioned after funds were received. It was delivered a few days later by Amazon. When I looked at the price from Amazon it was £512. This company do not advertise that they drop ship which means they take your order then source the product elsewhere at a much cheaper price. Also they do not tell you your order is fulfilled by a third part supplier.

They stated at the time of ordering on their website the item was in stock which implied it was from them direct.

Any company that deliberately mislead customers are not worth dealing with.

I did call them but got no where I emailed them and got a condescending reply mentioning Hienz baked beans??. And how they sell for different prices??

I am taking my experience to trading standards.

IN MY HUMBLE OPINION, DO NOT ENTERTAIN THIS COMPANY THEY ARE A ONE MAN BAND RIPP OF MERCHANTS.

As per our numerous emails that have been sent to you on the matter the product in question is indeed sold in a variety of outlets and not just with us at SHEDMASTER.

The Saffron Vinyl Sheds are imported into the United Kingdom from Duramax that are based in the United Arab Emirates and distributed across the country using a variety of Logistics Distributors including ARROW XL.

We explained to you that ARROW XL delivers on behalf of many companies and not just with Amazon Warehouse UK.

SHEDMASTER has no control over the prices that are set by the manufacturer and prices between all retailers differ.

We explained to the reason why prices differ between retailers and it is the customer responsibility at the time of order to investigate prices with all retailers that their budget matches the prices they wish to pay.

As you were indeed unhappy with the price of the shed upon its delivery we offered you as per the Distance selling regulations (specifically the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 in the UK) the right to return the product back to us to issue you with a full refund.

Given that you declined the return of the goods that where indeed supplied to you we are afraid no refund will be given.

As you are still within the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 Act with 14 days "cooling-off" cancellation period we requested for us to collect the product from you in order to process a full refund on your order. Again that you blunty refused to return the product back.

As you declined the return of the product, we are afraid you are liable for the cost of the shed at the time of ordering.

You do need to return a product (that we were arranging) free of charge before any refund would be considered. If you decline the return of a product and wish to keep it you need to pay the full price on the order.

We at no stage mislead you whatsover on price, it was your decision to purchase the shed that was set on our website at time of ordering.SHEDMASTER does not price match products before, during or in your case after you receive the product.

It is just unfortunate the price you saw elsewhere was cheaper than us and we are afraid we have no control over other companies prices.

Excellent service from start to finish

Excellent service &communication from Chris from start to finish.We ordered a Pro-Tect 7.5 x 5.5 shed & Shedmaster couldn't have been more helpfull.There was a delay on our groundworks being completed & Chris held onto our shed till the installation could be completed & we are so happy with the value & quality of the installed shed & it was half the price being quoted by local companies.

Absolutely appalling company, service and products. This is a one man enterprise run by Chris Trelfa…don’t try and get your money back if things go wrong. They just ignore you.

We are sorry to see such a review but we have indeed responded back to your email now on SEVEN separate occasions. We totally disagree with your comments.

As you have indeed received your shed in order for a refund to be provided the goods need returning back to us. We have provided you with the opportunity to send the goods back yourself and provided you a collection date for us to collect the unit.

As soon has the shed has been successfully returned a refund will be issued. However if you intend to keep the goods as per the Consumer Rights Act 2015 no refund will be issued until the goods have been returned. We are formally requesting you to return back the product.

You cant keep goods and expect to be refunded and we will would kindly ask you to respond back to the emails that have been indeed sent.

Shedmaster team were fantastic

Shedmaster team were fantastic to deal with via phone and email, really responsive and quick.

Got excellent price for the shed, - I paid the guys came and put the shed together worked hard in challenging conditions, well worth it.

Shed looks amazing, it’s slightly less ‘solid’ than I assumed but that’s down to my lack of research, as opposed to shed master.

The same shed was 10% more expensive everywhere else.

The only small draw back was the delivery company turned up, unannounced, 48 hours after and it was left out in the rain for 8 days.

As I never got an update, I decided to reach out to shed master, who wasn’t made aware they delivered it - great it was delivered so quick but thy should let SM know - Shed master reacted really quick (within the hour) and had me someone booked in within 3 working days to fit.

Very poor installation experience

Paid £535 for an installation in the back garden which was scheduled for a Tues morning. Took a call Mon afternoon requesting they come at 6pm. Having said this was unsuitable on 2 occasions as have young kids, as well as getting dark, they insisted on coming. Got dark at 7pm but they continued to build shed in pitch black by torchlight until 8:30pm whereby they disappeared on completion without notice leaving a complete mess on the driveway as well as inside the shed. Found assembly instructions and warranty in the flower bed border by driveway the next day. They were more interested in getting back to Manchester having squeezed in a job which was supposed to be done next day. Used my stepladder without asking leaving it where they used it. I had to align the side doors myself using shims as this had not been done. Several screws, washers and bolts leftover which I have no idea if required or not as couldn't ask questions having left. I would not have known until the next day anyway as pitch black. Wish I had purchased from Costco which had a £35 cheaper installation fee.

We are sorry to hear that you were not happy in the way that your shed was installed. An email has been sent to our Installations Manager to investigate what indeed has happened on this installation job.
Installations are indeed carried out anytime during the day and when winter approaches (when it does become dark earlier) are often carried out using a floodlight to assembly the units. On occasions this does mean that sheds are installed later in the afternoon/early evening. This will require floodlights for our Installation Teams to assemble the units. Given the size of the shed you purchased does require several hours for it to be installed so we are afraid will likely be dark.
Our Installations Manager has looked at the images that were taken during the installation of your shed and we note it was indeed installed using floodlight as they are often carried out in the autumn/winter months.
Regarding the boxes from the shed that where left is are indeed classified as a “customers” waste. The shed including its packaging is indeed classified as your waste from the shed that you purchased.
Typically, customers dispose of the boxes themselves in their own “household waste” and we can only apologise that this was not explained to you. The boxes that the sheds belong too are disposed by the customer.
With regards to the screws LIFETIME supplies replacement screws for all their sheds and this will be the reason why there was screws inside the shed that had not be used. Just in case the customer requires to replace any during the lifetime of the building.
We hope this explains what indeed did happen with your install upon checking with the Installation Team accordingly.

Nothing but high praise for Shedmaster and the team. Required a mobility shed for my mobility scooter. Chris and the team done everything possible to assist. Now feel happy my scooter is kept in a secure location.

Sub Standard

Very disappointing with the quality of a shed purchased from this company, the product was definitely overpriced for what I received. The materials are sub standard and did not meet my expectations. Based on my experience, I would not buy anything from this company.

I had excellent service from ShedMaster…

I had excellent service from ShedMaster uk from order, communication, delivery and installation when purchasing a Darwin shed. The fitters arrived to install the shed on time, were pleasant and professional despite travelling several hours early morning to my location. Due to a serious domestic incident for one of the fitters they understandably had to leave the shed partially constructed. However within a few hours I had a phone call to arrange a further visit to complete the build within two days.
I am delighted with my shed and highly recommend ShedMaster for the product and service.

A Great Experience

From the beginning communication was brilliant. Ongoing problems with my base were discussed and advice given and the company stayed patient whilst I got this sorted. The goods were delivered and the install team arrived and they were professional, polite and cheerful and did a great job.
Excellent goods and service all round.

ShedMaster A* Service and installation

I purchased x2 Outsunny 9 x 4 metal sheds with installation for my garden from ShedMaster. The Sheds arrived the next day and I layed my own base on Saturday and Chris came with his son on Monday to install both sheds. I can't thank them both enough, they are put up and arranged perfectly, exactly how I wanted them! Chris was helpful throughout the whole process keeping me informed the whole way.
I will definitely be recommending ShedMaster to friends and family if they need a shed etc in the future. Thankyou so much to everyone involved with my purchase.

Not quite good enough

Used this company 11 months ago and we were very pleased first time. This time, a little less pleased as the fitters put two screws through the door to secure the bolt which leaves the screws protruding and dangerous. The owner, Chris, accepts the fitters should have used nuts and bolts and has promised to attend next Wednesday or Thursday to fix it. Disappointing as the rest of the work seems up to standard

Very rude and short tempered installation manager

Ordered a shed with installation for our school. Chris was booked in to arrived at 2.45pm, He arrived at 3.15pm ( when all the parents and children are leaving the school) he rang from his mobile about not being able to get access to the site. When he was approached outside the school gates (still in his van) he was very rude about our parents and children being around, not being able to park up and the fact that there was no school car park. Chris said he was not willing to wait around and will see if he can rearrange for another day and drove away.We re booked for Monday 3.45pm. Chris did not show up until 4.15pm and began complaining about having to unload his van. He was very rude to the site manager, shouting in his face about the time it would take to complete the job not accepting the fact that he arrived late himself.

Bad instructions

Hi No problem with the tin shed delivery on time but trying to put it up that a other matter the instructions are diabolical half of it was guess work no written instructions just arrows most of it was back to fount put it together take it a part later I'm no fool I'm a skilled man

2 Seater Wooden Swing - Now Firewood

In July'24 we purchased the Outsunny Timber 2 Seater Curved Garden Swing Bench from Shedmaster. The swing arrived with missing washers, bolts and nuts which were required for the frame. SehMaster / OutSunny do not hold individual bags of fixings so instead they advised that they will send out another swing and I was to take out the parts I required. I had to collect the replacement swing which was half a mile away as it was delivered to the wrong address.

10 months later the swing seat snapped on the 07/05/25. The seat ends that is made from layered / moulded wood came apart. My wife and I have a combined weight of 185Kg which is well within the maximum swing weight of 230Kg. There was no swinging on the swing as we had cups of tea in our laps. The swing was covered during the autumn and winter periods. The swing only lasted 10 months. The 28 day Shedmaster warranty has lapsed and they said there is nothing they can do. I now have an expensive pile of firewood that I'll use in the winter of'25!

Swing Bench.

As we mentioned to you in your email that you indeed have a 28 days right of return with the product with OUTSUNNY.

Like with all retailers such as TESCO, B&Q, ARGOS exactly the same conditions apply. Customers have a limited time to report any problems with a product faults with it and to request an exchange or return on it. In this case with OUTSUNNY this rights of return is within 28 days of purchase.

Now that the product has been in use for over 8 months and in your possesion there is very little we can offer. The manufacter will not accept any request for return or replacement parts.

Anything could have happened to the product during the 8 months of it being in your possession.

The swing seat could easily have been broken by the customer with an overload of weight on it, or have been over used. Also we note that yourself installed the unit and we cant comment on how good or bad the quality of your assembly skills are.

Unfortuantely as 8 months have lapsed and the product has been in your possession for such a long time any damages or issues to the product is indeed your responsbility.

We hope this answers again why your complaint was rejected.

You have a limited time to report any issues WITH ANY PRODUCT and 8 months later is far beyond any rights of return. There is no warranty on the product or insurance should any problems occur 8 months on!

I saw the shed I wanted

I saw the shed I wanted, which was with installation. I called them before I ordered to ask how the installation works. They said wait for the shed to be delivered and then call us to arrange installation. I did this and Chris assured me he would call back in 3 days to arrange. I waited a week and called again and was told I would receive a call in a few days to arrange. I waited another week and nothing. I emailed a complaint regarding this and was met with a spiky reply and was told Chris would call me. We arranged a date for installation, and they never turned up. I had a missed call at 2200 when I was in bed advising they couldn't do it. Complained again and arranged another installation date. They did arrive but were very rude and moaned about everything! And then said mine's a coffee no sugar if you are asking. They finished the shed and just left without asking us to check if everything was OK. Shocking customer service and rude, unprofessional staff.

Your original installation provided was indeed cancelled due to “unforeseen circumstances” and the installer involved on your job had to leave work to attend a “family emergency”.
Our Installation Manager Chris did indeed contact you to advise of the situation and that a new installation date was provided to you for the following week.
We totally understand your frustrations that the installation on your order was delayed but to the nature of the situation was beyond anyone’s control.
We have examined the emails that you were in correspondence with, and we totally dispute your comments that we were indeed “rude” and “unhelpful”. We tried to assist as much as we could possibly do to arrange suitable installs for your shed given the situation.
Your comments about the installation have been passed to our Installations Manager for review and to investigate.
The main thing now is your shed has been installed, and we can only apologise it was delayed.

Quick delivery, good for summer months

The green house was delivered quickly and it was great for the summer. Would not recommend if you don’t want to have to take it down over winter and in high winds as aluminium and polycarbonate struggles with high winds and heavy snow fall.

As per our email that we sent you the greenhouse you purchased was last April 2024. Ten months later you came to report that it had suffered damage due to recent storms. No manufacturers warranty covers any product or garden building due to storm damage. As mentioned on our email to you much like roof tiles blowing off your roof or a tree falling down into your property due to a heavy storm or winds this is not a manufacturers issue but a matter you need to take up with your household insurance company for such loss. Shedmaster nor the supplier Outsunny covers you for such eventuality.

How can we be sorry for a matter that is beyond our control? Storm damage is a force majeure event beyond anyone's control and we did state to you we would happily assist with a quote to provide to your household insurers. As with any loss caused by a storm or heavy wind is a household insurance matter. No garden shed or greenhouse manufacturer covers you for such eventuality.

Again should you require a quote for your insurers for the greenhouse you had for 10 months please let us know.

Also we kindly note that you didn't take our installation services so can't comment on how the building was assembled and if assembled correctly by the customer.

Katie we note that you amended your review here. But again as we have stated ANY storm issue is indeed a household insurance matter. As explained on our emails to you and the information above you need to need to take the matter up with your household insurers.

The retailer nor manfacturer is indeed responsbile for such loss caused by storm damage.

Also NO garden building including greenhouses are designed to be erected and then taken down over the winter months. Doing this will indeed cause problems with vital parts getting damaged or lost in the process. We never endorse any customer to start assembling, then dis-assembling an unit for it to be re-assembled at a later date. No garden shed or greenhouse is indeed designed for this purpose!

Again if you require a quote for your household insuers please let us know!
