Disappointing
First they said they were out of stock of one of the items, which, no big deal. Then they said cancelling that item changed my shipping and the courier wants an extra $20 to ship. I just had them cancel my order at that point. But why wouldn’t they offs to cover the shipping or do something considering it was their fault?

The return policy that clothes are to be shipped to India in the event of unwanted items is not advertised on the Shan and Toad website. The returns shipping address should be published, so that customers are aware of the large, hidden cost of return and/or exchange.

I can definitely understand your frustration with having to send your return back to India. I apologize for the inconvenience. I have taken a look at our delivery and returns pages and have found that we specify that returns must be sent to our warehouse in India. We are a business that is incorporated in the USA and perhaps give the illusion that we are shipping from the USA, but we run our shipping from our warehouse in India. I will personally review the website to make sure that this information is clear so that we don’t mislead our customers in any way. Got wrong color and stuck with store credit
I ordered a Rosebella blue peter jeans on sale. The color of the jeans in real life is day and night different than the photo they provided. The image online is a mid-tone solid blue. The one I received is super light blue with ashy white washed pattern. I contacted them for return and they refuse despite they admitted the colors are very different.
Update my response to Shanandtoad: After I contacted them second time and asked for return exception for store credit, they agreed to accept return. However it is $42 jeans, they asked me to pay $30 for sending back the jeans for the mis-information they choose to offer to the customer when they packed and shipped out the item. $42 minus $30, I will get $12 store credit for all the hassles during this whole process for the mis-information and fault they choose to put on their customer.
Update: After I post the original review, they agreed to issue me store credit and no need to ship it back.

I ordered 10 days ago and still shows as the order is still not filled left message to contact without results and phone going to voicemail aggravating to say the least
ADDENDUM: Please note that I have since spoke through email with Daphne and trough my surprise she tells me that I am located out of her range and they do not have anything on their website to indicate my address is not in their range. This is a company issue and I as a customer should not be the one with the short end. A good business would of shipped my product at whatever cost and then adjust the shipping rate so it calculates AFTER you out in your address. This is time consuming for me and disappointing. I have order from many international companies without this issues so this company excuse is ridiculous.
