After a recommendation from a friend I began ordering ammo from SG and have used them for over 5 years now without any hiccups. They have a good variety of brands and types with competitive pricing and I love the free shipping on large orders. I've given my recommendation of them to others and had no complaints from them either.

Despite the snow and ice storm my order only had a slight delay. My Makarov ammo is hard to find but they have plenty. It has been a good experience and I'll definitely shop them again.

I've been buying my ammo almost exclusively from SG Ammo for about 2 years now. My order is almost always at my home in central Florida in 6 to 7 days. If I have a question I message them on their site and I get a prompt response. I shop other companies on Ammoseek.com and have yet to find another company who can beat their prices on a comparable product after the shipping is included. I'll continue to buy my ammo from SG Ammo as long as they keep doing what they're doing.

pretty much the best pricing on the ammo i wanted. no shipping (over $200), and in FL, no tax (due to the tax holiday on 2A products). easy to use web site and checkout. and really fast delivery. ordered on a Sunday, shipped by Tuesday and got it by Thursday.
will definitely be using SGAmmo going forward.

I always order from SG Ammo and I was in a hurry and hit the order button twice and sent them an email Sunday Night and before the buissness opened Monday Morning I had an email that cancelled one one order and the other was here a couple days later. A great company with awesome customer service. I have always said they are the best and fastest! Thanks for great service!

I've been using SGAmmo of several years now. I've found them to quick, efficient, competitively priced both the ammo and shipping (free over $200), and I've never had an issue with anything they've sold. Everything from Magtech to S&B to Winchester to surplus foreign ammo.

I just received a merchandising email from SGMO. He said due to the upcoming tariffs today April 3 is the last day we may be able to get items at these prices. He said he is going to raise prices tomorrow on April 4 to cover The extra charge to restock ammo. This is like the gasoline ripoffs years ago. The ammo that he is selling right now, he has already paid a lower price for, but is jacking the price up to cover possible tariffs. That is not good marketing. It may work for him, but he is screwing us. I have bought a ton of ammo from SG ammo but will never again

I don’t normally write reviews because the deal is ‘you advertise, I buy it and that’s it- nuff said’ I feel a need to comment on SGAmmo for benefit of other buyers to be able to order items and feel like you are not going to get ripped off. I bought some match .22LR and my first impression was “these folks are serious” as I was able to specify the lot number of the ammo. That is a company that takes a shooter serious. My second observation is my order was in shipping within 24 hours with tracking data. It is comforting to have another resource out there I can turn and depend on for my supplies. I am not a shill or connected with SGAmmo but wanted to give an honest data point for gunners looking for ammo. Thank You Jerry Northern Nevada

I order from SG on a somewhat regular basis. Never had an issue. Delivery is reasonably quick and the prices are as good as can be expected these days. Also, they never seem to be out of stock like most online ammo vendors. I tell others to order from them every time the issue comes up.

I buy exclusively from SGA and never had a problem of any kind!! I live in Illinois and buying ammo of any type is a process!! They keep my paperwork on file and I have zero problems plus they ship UPS and that is a five star company, too!

In the past month I have placed five orders with this company. I payed for signature requirement all orders except the last order. SG ammo canceled the last two orders out of retaliation. Of the three orders that they made only one got signed for. One order ended up missing for days. I found it in the brush on a neighboring property. The last order showed up with out signature. After calling UPS and explaining the problem to the local UPS manager they determined it to be a driver training problem. Instead of correcting the problems SG ammo takes it out on its customers.

Over the last ~decade, I've had dozens of transactions w/ SGAMMO; approx. 2/3rd of them for larger quantities (>10k/rds per caliber, multiple calibers), & the remaining 1/3rd for small transactions - as little as a few magazines & less than a case of ammo.

Regardless of the amount of money I've spent, Sam Gabbert (the owner, & company namesake, ie; "SG Ammo") has been one of the very few ammunition distributors who's willing to continue selling to the little guy as a 'retailer' w/ no minimum order requirement. This is a HUGE advantage for those of us in the competition scene who, for myriad reasons currently do not find economical advantage in reloading for ourselves - commonly due to time constraints or diminishing returns (or, God forbid, deficits therein) in the historically dollar-saving (not to mention, quite rewarding & offering a high degree of granularity in precision tayloring of desired ballistics, and satisfaction in remaining as self-sufficient as one can in our Belo
ved United States of America, circa 2024) practice of re/hand-loading ammunition.

Sam has always replied to my many questions w/ patience & professionalism that I wish I vould experience across every sector of business in modern American life.

On the very off chance that an order is incomplete/incorrect, SG AMMO will correct it & make it right. In dozens & dozens of orders fulfilled for me, there has only ever been a single error, which can only be atttibuted to me attempting to edit an order after the fact, and Sam still took care of me like one takes care of a close family member.

If you're a medium-to-high volume shooter, a range that sells ammunition to patrons/members/clients, or even a local retailer, SG AMMO will square you away, and they'll do so fairly.

It's my sincerest hope that I'll have the privelege of many more years to come of business dealings w/ Sam Gabbert aka, SG AMMO INC. One simply cannot hope to find a better partner as an ammunition supplier.
