Dishonest Provider

A handyman from service supermarket was to replace hinges in my kitchen cabinet and the kitchen drawers. This guy damaged the existing hinge in one of my drawers and did not say anything. He told me he did not have hinges for the drawers and proceeded to tell me that my work order was only for the cabinets after he had deliberately deleted the picture showing the hinges for the drawers i attached to the work booking. When i called the customer services, I was told that the handyman said i would need to pay for an additional 3hrs for him to come back. Such a dishonest man!!

Worst service I have experience from…

Worst service I have experience from any cleaning company in the UAE. Had two cleaners come over, and one of them clogged the toilet, by throwing in some used kitchen towels for cleaning. The toilet kept overflowing and flooded my bathroom. After confronting one of them she denied having been in the bathroom and insisted that her colleague was responsible for cleaning the bathroom. After I confronted her, she denied everything. I called the company and after a week they replied that their employee mentioned that the toilet overflow was not caused by her and that was it. No refund nothing. Stay away and book JustLife instead.

I had a misuse named Eka today

I had a misuse named Eka today. Very professional from the start to finish and from someone who has really bad knots in my shoulders and back, I feel brand new after this session. Eka is amazing and I will be requesting her for my next sessions ✨🫰🏼

This has to truly be the worst service…

This has to truly be the worst service provider I’ve ever experienced in Dubai or anywhere for that matter. The first time I booked them, there was a lady who came to my door and knocked and proceeded to open the door and said she was here for the cleaner who still had 30 minutes left. I complained about this and I decided to give them another chance and that’s the biggest mistake. I booked a 3 hour cleaning and they cancelled 30 minutes before the booking. 30 MINUTES, the agent I spoke to said it’s because they didn’t have a cleaner and yet they accepted and confirmed the order. Which they tried to insinuate they didn’t. It’s a really really bad service provider. Use at your own risk. They just don’t care.

Deeply Disappointing and Risky Experience

I have used ServiceMarket multiple times over the years for plumbing, electrical, and cleaning services. Unfortunately, my overall experience has been largely negative, with serious concerns around competence, safety, and oversight.

Cleaning services have generally been acceptable. However, my experiences with plumbing and electrical services have been extremely poor.

In one plumbing case, technicians incorrectly wired equipment and burned out a brand-new pump motor due to improper installation. In another instance, an electrical technician disconnected critical power directly from the main distribution board without consent or explanation. This occurred while there was a person in the home dependent on an oxygen respirator, creating a potentially dangerous situation.

I have also encountered electrical work that was visibly shoddy and unsafe, with poor wiring practices that could easily have resulted in fire or electrocution. On several occasions, additional charges were applied without prior approval or clear explanation.

Most concerning of all, during one service visit an electrical motor valued at just under AED 2,000 went missing from the property.

Follow-up and post-service support have been equally frustrating. Contacting customer service often involves listening to a repetitive and irritating hold jingle for extended periods, only to reach representatives who appear heavily scripted rather than empowered to properly understand or resolve the issue. The conversations feel rehearsed to project confidence, but lack depth, ownership, or meaningful follow-through.

If even a fraction of the effort spent on branding elements like jingles was redirected toward better vetting of contractors, improved staff training, and faster, more responsive customer support, the service would improve significantly. Simply answering calls more promptly and engaging with issues in a practical, informed way would go a long way.

Across these experiences, a consistent issue has been the apparent lack of proper quality control. The level of competence varies widely and too often falls below what should be acceptable for work that directly affects safety and property.

Unfortunately, alternative service platforms in Dubai have not proven significantly better. If you choose to use ServiceMarket, the safest approach is to be present at all times, closely supervise the work, question every step, and take precautions to protect both your property and your safety.

In short, the platform promises convenience, but the reality requires constant vigilance. That alone says more than any jingle ever could.

Dont book with market service time…

Dont book with market service time wasters, they dont even answer your support ticket, they charge you money and dont even do the booking they tell you that there is nothing in the system for the booking but the money is deducted from your account.

The worst cleaning company I have used.

The worst cleaning company I have used.

Where to start, consistently late, and I'm not talking 5/10 mins the most recent was 2 hours. Then when I informed the company I've left but left the door open for her they still did not clean the apartment. The only resolution they have was she can come at 8am Sunday morning, I changed my Sunday morning plan waited for her and no cleaner arrived. When I call the the company they said nothing was booked. I can only describe them as incompetent, poor communicators and love repeating a scripted I'm so sorry!!

This is the worst service ever

This is the worst service ever. Ordered a ‘technician’ (this is how they call them), to cut my hair and they just destroyed everything, nothing is the same size, they were unable to say that they will solve they just said that they don’t know how to do it correctly. It’s better to be bold lol

Thiefs. Do not put your credit card details !

Hi, i had a credit of money which were my own money refunded back for service that i was charged and i didn't use. Now i see that the credit is gone and i have not used any service since. I would like my money back as i have not used any service to be charged again and they had no right to deduct money which have been mine in the first place. I have had a horrible experience the last 2 times I used the app. First overcharged for a service i didnt use and i got refund , to then order massage overcharged and charged while the massage therapist didn't show up and I was not informed of any cancellation and now third time to find out my credit has been deducted without using any service!!! I need an explanation why my credit has been deducted and for what reason and how they have right to charge credit cards and take wallet credit without any authorisation. This is outrageous and highly unprofessional.

Booked 2 services

Booked 2 services. Laundry and Beauty. Laundry - tried to charge me a fortune for for ordinary Ikea sofa covers, claiming they are made of delicate fabric?? Beauty service was basic Mani-Pedi for discounted price. They never turned up. Nail technician was claiming she got lost as apparently company gave her a wrong address. The customer service and communication is very poor.

THEFT AND INCOMPETENCE!

DO NOT USE SERVICE MARKET – AVOID THEFT AND INCOMPETENCE!
I had an absolutely HORRIBLE experience with Service Market. I hired their cleaning service, and one of their employees, eastern asian cleaner, STOLE MY GOLDEN BRACELET, which is valued at several thousand dollars.
When I raised the issue with Customer Service Officer, I was met with complete indifference. Despite presenting clear evidence of the theft, your employee flatly denied the allegation. Only after several hours did I hear back from the cleaner’s manager, who claimed the bracelet had been "found." NO moral/ financial compensation for the stress, inconvenience, and violation of trust.
This is completely unacceptable. Your company failed me not only by allowing such theft to occur but by mishandling the situation with poor customer service.
I’m warning others: DO NOT use this service unless you’re willing to risk your personal belongings being stolen and having to fight for them back. I will ensure that no one else is victimized by your careless, negligent service.
Absolutely zero stars.

Booked handyman 2 days back - stay away!

Booked handyman 2 days back. Today they showed up and whilst in my living room telling me that I need to make another booking and charge me more since I needed tv mounting too.

I had clearly provided all the details of what was required in advance incl 3 paintings to be mounted incl 2 TVs.

The company manager called just 2 min before they showed us asking for additional bookings too which I thought was odd and then they did the same 2 min after when they arrived and in my house.

In addition, the service men were unhygienic and given all the fuss I immediately asked them to leave - it all just seemed very odd and almost a deliberate attempt to try get more money on the spot and when people are perhaps more willing since they want the job done.

I then complained to service market and clearly the representative had little clue of the issue and it needed up with them filing complaint and just telling me they’ll contact me in 48h?! They did not provide alternative service or anything.

In summary, stay away from this company!

They are the worst ever. I did a deep tissue massage. I never had any allergy in my life as soon I slept on their bed and she started massaging. 10 min later I did a sever allergy and swilling that went inside my body. I am in the hospital since then. I talk to them and they say oh we are sorry

I booked the clean service and get canceled before the service happens just one hour without Fraser notice

I booked the clean service , before one week and is repeating booking and sadly before booking happens just one hour got cancelled , and when I chat to check why , than I got message said I have complaint , from last booking , which was happening week ago , to understand I said why no one call and the answer is try to reach you out but can’t , which was not happening you have apps you have what’s up and mobile number ,

Absolutely terrible customer service

Absolutely terrible customer service. I booked a move through this site with an "insured" mover. They crashed while moving and destroyed my appliances and several pieces of furniture. Turns out the mover had no insurance. Service Market cannot bother to even return a call about this issue. Be wary of dealing with them for any service! Would give 0 stars if possible.

Extremely bad experience with incompetent staff

They sent another team to clean the unit properly and this was done. However, they damaged my ceiling panel and left without saying anything. Furthermore their customer service are disorganised and deceitful. Will never use again - stay clear!
