Had to call five times to customer service. No help gather information and send an email , this is all they can do. Spoke to a “tech” who couldn’t even confirm it was all connected correctly. Talk to me about the problem and then say I’ve trouble shot the problem and turning it over to a more advanced “tech” there are three components! How many techs do they need. Nobody could ever confirm any facts about anything. Called repeatedly for three days then fixed it on my own. These guys don’t deserve to pray on the elderly.

Technical failures and embarrassing customer service

Technical failures, lack of transparency, and disappearing support – A nightmare for artists

"I have been using Sentric Music for two months, and it has been a deeply frustrating experience characterized by technical bugs and a total lack of transparency.

Despite my efforts to build a professional sync repertoire, I am facing several unacceptable issues:

Broken Support & Disappearing Chat: I have an open ticket (SEN0006481602S) regarding a critical metadata error (system failure to save 'NO PRO' status). After weeks of non-resolution, the live chat option has mysteriously vanished from my portal. It feels like a deliberate attempt to silence a user with persistent technical problems rather than solving them.

The 'Black Hole' of Submissions: The platform makes it impossible to track progress. There is no way to verify if a song has been successfully submitted to a specific opportunity or campaign. You upload your soul into a black hole and hope for the best.

Ghost Statistics: The analytics and statistics section is a maze of missing data and 'hidden' results. As an artist, I have zero visibility into how my music is performing or if it's even being processed correctly.

Metadata Loop: My profile is stuck in a loop (possibly due to a character encoding error in my surname) that prevents me from finalizing works. Support has been informed multiple times but has failed to provide a manual override or a permanent fix.

I am on the verge of deleting my profile and taking my 2 months of hard work elsewhere. It is heartbreaking to consider starting over because of a platform's inability to support its associates.

Sentric, I have a hard deadline on February 16th for a sync opportunity. Your technical failure is currently preventing me from exercising my rights. Fix ticket SEN0006481602S and restore my access to human support immediately.

Avoid at all costs

Avoid at all costs, this company are a scam. They don't release any Royalties until you meet their $40 Dollar threshold, this amount could take years to reach then they take their % They say it rolls over every month but I see no advances even to reach the threshold. I've been listed with them for years with a big catalog & top $ recordings & getting know where. It's just a cycle of going nowhere. There's no incentive to be listed on their books. I will be retired & an old man before i will receive any money. I now put an end to this nonsense & cancelled today.

I only put a couple test bits of music on there just to see what the rigmarole was of going through the process. But after my experience of these and reading the reviews I wouldn't recommend them.

They dont reply to emails and if they don't reply to emails, what happens if you don't get paid off them are they just gonna keep your money and ignore you

If I could give them no stars I would.

Unresolved Errors and Weak Communication

Unfortunately, my experience with Sentric has been extremely disappointing.

Simple registration errors on their end, including incorrect and duplicated ISRC registrations and legal name publication despite my consent, were never properly resolved, despite months of back-and-forth.
These are basic publishing issues, yet they remained unresolved long enough to actively block me from moving my catalogue elsewhere.

Communication was poor throughout: long response times, vague replies, and repeated assurances that things would be “sorted soon,” none of which materialised. Promises were made and then quietly dropped without follow-up.

Financially, the difference was stark. I earned roughly one third with Sentric compared to what I earned with Songtrust, with the same catalogue, which makes the ongoing admin issues even harder to justify.
I expected a professional publishing administrator. What I experienced instead was avoidable errors, weak communication, and a lack of accountability.
I would strongly recommend artists carefully consider alternatives before signing.

The worst possible service and fraudulent activity. This company has some how managed to avoid paying out my royalties over 4 seperate payout cycles? Now completely ignoring my emails. Stay away and will be filing a court claim against them

Useless company, worthless experience

Useless company. Website is inaccessible, hard to navigate, income non-existent, response time glacial. If you're serious about earning money from your compositions, join the PRS. Do not, repeat not waste your time with Sentric and don't believe the good reviews on here.

They will register your music on PRS…

They will register your music on PRS without consent or permission claiming 50%. I'm not even sure of the full implications yet as I'm new to the music industry. No royalties ever received in years.

This company has proved to be absolutely useless.

This company has proved to be absolutely useless to me. I have made several complaints to them and I never get an answer. They only seem to be interested in Spotify. Since I no longer use Spotify, because they are a rip-off company, I don't upload songs to Spotify anymore. I am very angry.

Disappointing experience – beware of payment issues

I can only assume that many of the positive reviews here are fake. I did earn some money through Sentric, but I’ve never been able to get paid. It’s been months, and despite sending numerous emails to customer support, I’ve received no response at all.

Extremely frustrating experience. I strongly recommend staying away unless you’re okay with potentially losing your earnings.

My great experience with Sentric

Gabi and the staff at Sentric have done a wonderful job of tracking the airplay of my three Christmas singles, which were released last December: "Has Christmas Forgotten Me?" "Our Own Christmas" and "Don't Open 'till Christmas." They responded promptly to all my questions and concerns and addressed them, thoroughly. Great Company!

I joined with Sentric in 2023 and have never had an issue. The team is great and super responsive. Always knowledgeable and very helpful in all of my random queries.

They collected royalties I didn’t even know existed and the dashboard is super friendly for users. Will never leave sentric (unless I get noticed by a major hehehe)
and will recommend it to everyone I know. If you are an artist that is looking for something to boost you over the top, you can’t go wrong here.
