Sennies is an outstanding nanny agency, being a candidate for many years they have places me with amazing families and delivered a range of personal development training which has helped me becoming specialist SEN nanny. Sennies take their time to match the correct nanny with the right families making sure their skills and experience will work along side the child and family. This is an important element for nanny agency to get right, sadly some don’t. Furthermore, Sennies will place a nanny and still keep in contact with both parties making sure everything is working out. I am so grateful to come across Sennies the world is lucky to have such a nanny agency that truly care about special need children and supporting their families.

I have been registered with SENNIES as a SEN Nanny for 5 years. From the outset, the CEO and her small team have been dedicated to supporting me to find a role that suits my needs and skill set as well as taking great care to make sure I have been supported when I had any concerns or if a family wasn't quite the right fit. Being a lone worker can have its challenges from time to time but SENNIES have always made time and space for me to share any difficulties I may have been experiencing. They not only care for the vulnerable families that require additional support but also genuinely care for the well-being of their placed nannies and those searching for a role.
I wholeheartedly recommend SENNIES to anyone looking for a meaningful care and support role and families in need of extra assistance from quality, well vetted, trained and knowledgable nannies.

I struggled for years trying to secure childcare for my autistic daughter. When Sennies told me they were confident they could find me a SEN nanny, I couldn’t believe it. Surely these individuals were mythical creatures, like unicorns…then when they said they could find one who would help us at the weekends, I was truly in awe. Sure enough, Sennies found me two amazing SEN Nannies. I never knew such incredible people existed and it has transformed our home life.
Importantly, Sennies supported us all the way through. All of the nanny agencies I had worked with in the past, might find 1-2 candidates and then try to convince me to hire them. Sennies found us 5 and were really responsive and supportive when we were unsure if one candidate was the right fit, going back out to market to find a 6th that was perfect.
Even after the candidates joined us, Sennies continued to check-in with the nannies and us to see how everyone was getting on.

We were in a v tricky spot with our autistic daughter and I was close to being one of the 60% of SEN parents forced to give up work. After much effort we still were unable to successfully appoint anyone to help. Then I found Sennies. I read other reviews including one lovely one about Sennies finding their unicorn, and wondered whether that could possibly be true for us. They came through for us and we have our unicorn. She is perfect for our daughter and perfect for our family, enabling me to keep working and not lose our house. Plus she is really happy with us. Thanku Sennies.
They do not come cheap, but their charges are in line with other professional finding agencies. Their service is Rolls Royce throughout. They didn’t send as many referrals as we expected (probably because we are outside London) but both people we interviewed were fabulous, and ultimately we got the one we needed. They interviewed many more on our behalf and only sent us the ones that would work well with us. I would def highly recommend them.

Lacks the talent and talks up costs.

Vast majority of candidates produced were not experienced Nannys but SEN TA’s looking for a salary bump. However, the skills gap between the two is huge and can prove beyond the capabilities of even an experienced TA. Ultimately we didn’t have many viable options to choose from with the required experience.

Furthermore, we found the agents negotiating on behalf of the Nannys, not us, inflating salary expectations beyond market rate to make reaching economic alignment very hard, making me question if they understand who their client really is. Generally rather disappointed with the outcome of this process and wouldn’t repeat it.

We have been using SENNIES since 2021. Their warm, engaged and rigorous service has proved an incredible investment for our family. Anita found us our third nanny last Autumn. We thought it would be impossible to hit the extremely high bar of our two previous Sennies. But they've done it. It feels like each Sennie has been perfectly suited to the developmental stage of our child. Both previous Sennies remain family friends and one is still working alongside us as an educational consultant. Our son is now 6 and his new nanny (a PhD student exploring the value of music in the education of Autistic individuals) has opened a new world to him. As well as skateboarding, phonics, swimming, maths and other adventures, they have music sessions with an electric guitar, drum machine, shakers, piano and recorder. Taking turns to play, to sing and to dance. it is a joy to see what the right Sennie can bring into the life of a child and how they can open new doors to development, communication and fun. We owe a lot to this company and the wonderful people who run it!

We've used Sennies several times to find SEN nannies and respite care, both full time and part time. They're extremely dedicated, helpful, and friendly. They really take the time to understand the family's needs and it's clear that they care a lot about finding the right match. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Very bespoke service geared towards our needs and efficient in every way.

We reached out to Sennies in a state of dire need of an experienced SEN nanny for our autistic son. The quality of candidates put forward to us was exceptional - we had a tough time choosing.
Sadly, our first nanny placement did not work out as expected, but upon returning to Sennies they worked tirelessly to rectify the situation and we started the process again.
We have now just hired a wonderful person for the job and I was impressed how Katie managed our situation and made sure we were well looked after.
