I’m incredibly frustrated with Senkels. I returned Order #58893 two months ago, providing full proof of postage and photos of the package.
Despite following all procedures, they refuse to refund me because they claim the item hasn't reached them. Under consumer protection guidelines (Consumer Rights Act), the retailer is responsible for items lost in transit once the customer provides proof of dispatch. Instead of my money back, they offered a useless discount code.
Since I challenged this "final resolution," the company has stopped responding to my emails entirely. I am now forced to escalate this through a bank chargeback and report them to Trading Standards for their refusal to honor my legal refund rights.

Received my order after loong time
Ordered two pairs of laces mid-December 2025, but didn’t receive anything. Senkels has kindly answered my mails, and confirmed the order, and replied that it has been shipped. They also did resend the laces.
But didn’t receive it.
UPDATE FEBRUARY 2026
I finally received the laces! They are very nice at fit my shoes very well. I would recommend them. But I hope it goes a bit faster next time..

I love my new purple laces, they are such good quality. The only negative experience I would say I had was the lack of description on the website of processing time and how long the laces take to make. Because its a niche product I think people have a warped idea of the length of time it takes to make this product (myself included) and I nearly dropped a message because it had been two weeks and I hadn't heard anything, but then they got sent that day. Also, shop tracking is pretty unreliable, on the day I received my laces the tracking was still on "shipping label created" which really doesn't reflect well on the company - even though its not their problem , but apart from those two point I am really happy with the service and love the vibrant range of colours.
Pathetic excuse for a business. They advertise free shipping to all countries when you purchase two pairs of laces. But when you go to check out, they charge you for shipping! I notified them of this and they STILL refuse to provide free shipping on my order. I’ll never shop there again.
I sent back my order because it arrived broken, they said they never received it. I sent DHL proofs, and they disappeared and never replied again.

Received my laces today after about 10 days. They look very distinctive, let's hope they will last longtime.
I ordered items with a total cost of more than 90€ that qualified for free shipping. At the time of checking out, there was an indication that shipping will be free of cost.
After receipt of the purchase through post, I got a bill from fedex, totaling 31€, to pay for the shipping costs.
I tried to contact the company regarding the issue, utilizing all the available emails they provide, but with no answers.
A few points up front, don't order laces from here and expect them to arrive the next day. They are made to order and, like anything bespoke, they reward patience. Order them to have in as stock and then don't worry about how long it takes for them to arrive. But, when they do, they are absolutely fantastic. I have a mix of styles and colours - round laces for my country shoes and flat for my city shoes. All look and feel fantastic. I will soon order another batch for the cupboard and will only use these laces from now on.
I did not receive my black friday order.
Tried three times to contact them, no answer.

Finally someone thought of offering really nice laces with choice of colors and solid (non plastic) endings!
Again I ordered from my favorite laces provider.

Product arrived and is even more beautiful than my previous buy due to a different choice of Aglets material/color.
However wonderful my shoes/boots are these laces become the striking element of the total shoe, making each time of wearing a divine pleasure full of positive emotions :-)
Ordered my shoelaces mid december.haven't received anything .Sent several mails, one response that the laces were sent.Not the case. This can only be a scam
Don't bother with this "company" if you're ordering internationally. Never got my order. They did reimburse me, but after about 4 months of consistent emails. Piss poor customer service and they somehow don't know how to deliver outside of the EU.

The laces were very expensive but snapped within six weeks on shoes which only worn occasionally. Very poor quality. No response from Senkels.

No tracking number, no item was received and no one answered the several emails that I sent in and via the request form. And they advertise themself as luxury.
It's been 3 weeks and I still have not received my order.
Please avoid this place and report.
I have ordered 2 times at Senkels, the same product both times:
1st time: I accidentally wrote the wrong address, tried to write a message to customer support but they did not get back to me.
2nd time: I actually received the product but the shoelaces look waaay smaller(thinner) than what they do on the website. Want to return but then I NEED TO PAY the return freight and PRINT OUT a return form?!?! What is this 1950s?
Also, the website has such poor UX. Won’t buy from here again.
