Seneca has been fantastic and both my sons have found it to be e really beneficial. It has helped them with higher scores in tests. Staying on top at maths and general revision accross all subjects which is much more cost effective than a tutor. Also the AI tool has been great for helping them work out new maths question and tasks. Also the team are always very quick and helpful at answering any of my questions. Would highly recommend it.

Seneca Learning is an incredibly helpful application.
Recently, I've been using it to study for mock exams, and I find it very helpful. Personally, I find interacting with content very helpful, rather than just reading through long blocks of content.
Personally, the way I use Seneca is by going through a lesson and making notes as I go through - admittedly this makes lessons take a lot longer than advertised :D
I like to use Seneca as a tool alongside other resources to help me create detailed notes - if you're doing full scale revision for assessments, I wouldn't use only Seneca religiously, but as a tool with other resources. If you're just going over some content though, it's really quick to just do a seneca task.
There are a few issues - I find some of the exam questions / harder questions that are found within adaptive mode repeat themselves or are strikingly similar to each other. I've also found that the harder questions in adaptive mode can sometimes have incorrect answers, and I make sure to report these every time.
I would recommend using Seneca as a revision tool, but remember to check your own answers compared to what Seneca believes is the correct answer. I have been strongly considering buying premium for a while now, and I am awaiting my mock exam results to see how impactful a subscription would be.

Seneca used to be quite good for learning, homework and revision. Now it rarely gives you the needed information before giving the questions and is full of AI slop.

Over the past 5 years, I've been making use of Seneca Learning as both a teacher and a tutor. I've become a big fan of their software, as it covers a wide range of qualifications and exam boards, from English vocab and preparation for 11+ and similar entry exams, to GCSE Sociology and A Level Political Studies. To further add to this, they are very receptive to requests and feedback for content addition and modification.
Their basic, free content is already quite expansive, but the additional features really do well to add to student learning experience. They include deeper explanations of question content to help students eliminate their misconceptions, but also new content like extra revision flashcards and content aimed at supporting good passes.
Seneca Learning has helped students deepen their understanding of their classwork and it has also been invaluable in helping set cover work when colleagues are in need of cover. It has become a mainstay in my school and I look forward to seeing how it continues to improve over the years to come.

We paid for the Premium packages for both my children when they took their GCSEs. Without a doubt the various courses helped them pass. So many subjects are available, and lots of ways to test and help them revise. An excellent study tool

The app/platform is very professional, and I can keep up to date with my son's progress at school.

However, I'd really like to point out the customer service, it's excellent. I decided to put a pause on the premium subscription for a few terms, and they were zero fuss, super easy to deal with, and very responsive. Which is rare these days.

A very well constructed learning aid which has helped both my children through their GCSE revision.

I had an issue with a subscription charge on my account and reached out to Seneca for help. Olivia was incredibly helpful and professional. She looked into my situation and resolved the matter by issuing a pro-rata refund quickly. It’s great to see a company that shows this level of flexibility and values its customers. Seneca is very efficient at supporting their customers. I emailed this weekend and first thing this morning I received a message with a solution to the problem. This is much quicker than the support I’d receive from the school. Olivia Is great!!

I find Seneca to be a very useful application in order to revise what I learnt in lessons. The tasks are nice and short with relatively easy questions. You can also add subjects to your profile which I find useful in order to keep track of what I am doing. You can also do harder questions and if you get a question wrong, they have an AI assistant called Amelia which always helps me when I am stuck. There are also funny little GIFs and animations throughout that make it a little bit more fun. Would certainly reccommend.

my child learns in here and i saw the improvement in her so that is the reason iam giving this company 4 stars and 1 star away because i didnt experience the premium service.

My daughter has been using Seneca and it's a great supplement to her learning. Customer service was also fantastic when we forgot to cancel a subscription.

its super tuff and it does not create the same stress that educake does because it actually helps you grow as a person while educake got me pregnant

The way this site works is it gives you a text(s) to read then gives question based off of phrases and words in those texts. The concept is good, but the execution is bad, Not only can students just skip the texts, but they can just guess the answers, if the answer is anywhere along the lines of the starting letters, it gives you full marks, or students can click check over and over without typing anything. Skipping the homework. It rewards guessing instead of reading, I could write for hours about the faults with the site, but I refuse to waste any more minutes with this faulty site.
