Awful Awful awful
Logged in, set up, sent some test emails etc etc. Upgraded. Scheduled first bulk email - Stopped sending half way through and all links disabled.
Got an email stating account was suspended? Got a banner on website stating Account has been closed, Can't downgrade account. Links in the emails that did go out don't work. Not great at all for our customers.
Will never use a Twilio Service again.
Cannot create valid account
Cannot create valid account, it's imposible.
F piece of joke.
Dont bother as no customer service
I have been using the sendgrid platform and it works well when you can log in but have not been able to login for 3 days due to this stupid 2 factor authorisation system they have. It says can not generate an SMS at the moment. It is impossible to contact anyone without being able to login and they defer the issue to a company called authy who are apparently responsible for sending out the codes . |they are also not available.
I am a paying customer with various upgrades on the account but am not going to use them anymore.
Hopeless and very frustrated
Sendgrid is the worst email marketing
Sendgrid is the worst email marketing company ever. They demonstrate extreme unprofessionalism & have the worst customer service. They deactivated an account due to inactivity WITHOUT NOTIFYING / WARNING their users via email regarding their inactivity policy. Deactivating accounts without any notification or warning is a BAD PRACTICE. When asked to reactivate the account, they callously suggested creating a new account, showing no regard/care for the user's existing data on the old account.

They reject your registration without explanation and keep your personal data.
They make you add your phone number, company name, company website, etc, and then reject the registration without giving an explanation. You can tell they keep your data because if you try to login with that email you get an error message: "We are unable to log you in at this time, please check your email for further information." instead of their site asking you to register or such.
I have no idea how does one register with them to create a new website.
This Company turned into a joke
I am compelled to share my recent experience with SendGrid, which turned from mildly frustrating to utterly disappointing, affecting not just me but all of my clients. The entire ordeal began when one of my API keys was compromised. While I understand the importance of security measures, SendGrid's response was beyond what one could consider reasonable—they suspended ALL my API keys. This wasn't just a minor hiccup; it effectively put a halt to my business operations, leaving all my clients in the lurch.
The real kicker, however, isn't just the suspension of services due to a single point of failure. It's the agonizing silence and lack of prompt support following the incident. Days would pass without any form of communication from their end, leaving me to question the efficiency of their customer support. Every passing day without a resolution added to the stress and disappointment.
What's more disheartening is that during this entire period, it felt as though my business, my clients, and I were of no significance to their operations. The lack of urgency in addressing such a critical issue is alarming, to say the least.
In conclusion, if reliability, prompt support, and understanding are qualities you seek in a service provider, my recent experience suggests that SendGrid might not be the best choice. Their handling of security issues, coupled with poor communication, can have dire consequences for your business. It's a cautionary tale I wish I had heard sooner. My advice? Look elsewhere to avoid unnecessary disruption to your services and maintain the trust of your clients.
Can't go lower the 1 star sadly
Can't go lower the 1 star sadly. I have worked with Twilio for many years with great success and was looking at pushing the relationship further into the new organization I am with. SendGrid blocked my request for account almost immediately on the click of the button and the are refusing to tell me why under the cover of security. I wouldn't go near them.
Terrible service and terrible company
Terrible service and terrible company, does not conduct honest business practice, hide themself behind "violation of terms and conditions", give no customer support, don't value new customers, avoid this company at all cost, they will steal your money gladly and then claim, you have violated something made up. There is lots of serious email delivery providers, try thoose, avoid sendgrid at all cost

If you dont immediately get a Higher Tier they wont even verficate your Account.
Providing a Phone Number, Full Name, Email with existing Domain and Explaining the usecase is Not enough ? Well thats Insane. My Workspace has a Business Plan with them and now i will persude them to Change thar. I dont Want to Support auch a Platform. Also : alot of Spam and Low Code quality.

Our business receives TONS of SPAM through sendgrid. They don't respect unsubscribe requests and appear to cater to spammers.
Avoid at all costs
If there was such a thing as zero stars!!!. Absolutely terrible service. Sent a bulk email after having upgraded account swapping over and you block all links being sent and block our account. This was a legitimate marketing email and an authorised account. No one to speak to, delay in processing. I would advise anyone reading this to avoid. Absolutely shocking to think this company are looking after data
Truly truly awful
Truly truly awful. Suspended the account with one of the same messages reported by other users. 5,000 emails sent out the links were disabled after about 5 mins of sending. We had upgraded the account to move from mailchimp. This is not email marketing, it is anything but useful and for goodness sake, we were selling Mother's Day Afternoon Tea - It had already taken 10 days to get the account verified before sending the marketing mail. There may be a cost saving but there is not actual product. The scam is Sendgrid itself. Do not fall for it
Closed our account without notice
We sent a marketing email and Twilio decided to suspend our account without notice. I tried contacting support and they keep bouncing me around - they don't even read my emails! I'm going to have to switch providers, sadly.
Undelivered Emails, NO customer service
Purchased this service to send a company email for a holiday, only find out NONE of my emails were delivered. After going to the website for more information I received a message that my account was closed. My service requests and emails to "customer service" have been completely ignored.
Save yourself the headache of missed opportunities, use an established company with a good reputation.
Absolutely shocking software
Absolutely shocking software. Do not touch it. Impossible to get hold of customer service and they just suspend your account for no reason even though you are using their product for exactly the right purpose with good deliverability. You end up paying money for nothing as can't access account.
Terrible consumer service!
I’m a sendgrid costumer. Got an email that my account has been suspended with no explanation. Here is the message I got “Twilio SendGrid takes the security and integrity of our platform very seriously. As part of our routine review process, we have identified that your account's activity is not in compliance with one or more of our policies. As a precautionary measure, we have temporarily paused your sending and deleted any queued mail while we investigate the issue.” I have reached out for clarification but only got a response 12 hours later. My tech guy did some adjustments and still 10 hours later no response. The service sendgrid offers is essential tech component for our client account platform. Their casual response time has serious implications on our business. They also don’t have a telephone number that you can call to resolve technical issue with your account. I am currently researching which company would be best to switch to that had good costumer service. If I can give them a -5 star I would.
Our Sendgrid API blocked for 2 weeks…
Our Sendgrid API blocked for 2 weeks without any reason, support does not answer at all. Also, when you upgrade your package, please make attention because they charge you more than needed, it's a "bug" that is very profitable for them: they charge you 2 times for the same period.
Can't give less than one star
Can't give less than one star, but my experience with this non-functioning company is not good at all. DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM AT ALL!
