I ordered a book about cosmology directly from WoB, and they sent me a bridgerton cookbook instead. I contacted them for a correct replacement. They sent another copy of the cookbook. I raised it again. They sent me a third copy of the cookbook, despite assurances from the two live chat agents that I would receive the book I ordered. I'm yet to receive whichever book they're sending me at the fourth attempt, but I think I can guess what I'll receive. I eventually got a refund, which to be fair, was processed and returned to my bank within a few minutes of raising a complaint. I've also had similar issues with their eBay listings.

All good, easy to send books and payment received quickly.

Easy to trade with, good collection options.

Very easy to use, very straightforward and impressively accurate scanning process! I was surprised at the value some of the books had, it was more than I expected! I do keep my books in excellent condition, I know they do check the books quality after arrival and this can impact your price, but I did not experience any cuts. The shipping was fast, the money landed in my bank around 10 days after sending which is really quick in my opinion, and I'm glad my books will get a good new home!

Have used this book selling service happily for years. However, we have made a few trades recently which included some older books that didn’t have barcodes, just isbn numbers that we manually typed, and were offered on. Each time, we were told we hadn’t included these non barcoded books in our parcel, and didn’t receive payment for them. Disappointing.

The process was easy. Payment was quick. I was completely happy with some of the offers given for some books so I didn't end up trading them.

We always make a point to buy our books from WOB, however new to selling. We used the app scanned our books and placed each in the box individually then sealed and posted the same day. Pretty straightforward, however on receipt of the books, was told several were not present. All the higher priced items may I add. Now it if I had packed the box on my own I might had second guessed myself, but there were three of us and the breakfast bar was empty when we finished and we no longer have the books! These were all GCSE textbooks and noted as popular on your website, so you either scam people out of paying for the highest priced books or require better quality assurance. We’ll be selling our remaining books on FB marketplace or EBay. My advice if you plan to sell with them would be to record or take a picture of your box with books in ahead of closing it! Very disappointing!

Too slow. Last month started checking items money paid into PayPal next day. Now taking 3 extra days to check items. And last Friday were checking items and 6 days later still no money. Its a very big piss take. After my next books I'm closing down account.
