Timber missing off order. Driver promised it would be followed up on and wasn't. Emailed them and they didn't respond. Called them to follow up and place additional order and as it was nearly end of day they told me would call me back, they didn't. Called back only to be told couldn't now meet the delivery that had been promised to me. When I complained was simply told "well I wasn't there so i don't know what was said and cant help you..."

Perhaps it was because it was Friday, but not a good experience. Had to work hard to get someone in the yard to help me, and having paid in the office to serve me. Lots of people about not doing anything, but wandered off in a bunch on spotting the customer.Don't appreciate having to chase staff for service. Only the price recommends them. Lots of training in good customer care needed in my view.

I went in on a Saturday, 25 min before closing. Wanted to get timber to create my own fence for my garden.
Arron helped me calculate how much timber I needed and even helped me cut it to size. The team then helped me load my car and off I went with 5 min to spare until closing time. Timber excellent quality. Brilliant service through and through. Will definitely use again and will for sure recommend to others. Thank you again.

I was working in a new area and decided to use the local timber yard, Selhurst Timber. What a stroke of luck, they had everything i needed. The timber was of good quality, very reasonably priced and they delivered it the same day. What a great service.

Can’t fault these guys in Orpington. Prices are good and very helpful staff on the phone. Delivery is great and drivers very helpful. Will always use from now on. Thanx for your help with all what you’ve supplied so far 👌👍👍👍

been using Selhurst timber for a number of years, but I’ve never really been to the shop as I get my materials delivered. However when Dave informed me there opening an new branch closer to my work it was convenient to pop in and collect my materials on the go.
Great set up with lots of stock and great friendly service.

Definitely recommend.
