Amazing customer service

Amazing customer service

I ordered an Almost Heaven Sauna from Select Sauna. The price was literally half of getting it direct from AH. It arrived exactly by the 6 week lead time.

It got shipped directly from AH and when it arrived I was missing some minor parts. I contacted Select Sauna and the missing parts arrived at my doorstep 4 days later. No questions asked. The mistake was AH’s part but Select Sauna quickly handled it. Super happy with purchasing from Select Sauna.

Missing Parts

The product I received was missing pieces and damaged by the delivery team. I also waited much longer for delivery than the lead time said on the website when I purchased

Love the sauna. They got very busy with orders but gave me a shipping date and it showed up and was a breeze to assemble. Good communication. Very happy.

Perfect sauna!

It arrived well packaged and exactly when they said it would. My husband and son assembled without difficulty and said the quality was great. Select sauna forgot to send the bucket and ladle but a quick call to customer service and we had it in two days. The sauna works perfectly, very pleased. Be sure and budget for the electrician. We were moderately surprised by that cost.

Highly Recommend!

Select Saunas were super accurate on the estimated shipping time and were very communicative when I received my sauna. I called them with a question and spoke to a real person and received a helpful answer. They also offer way more heater options than other websites I visited.

We understand that purchasing a large item can cause some anxiety, and we’re always happy to help if a customer reaches out for an update - that’s completely understandable. However, at that point, there was no need for additional communication, as your order was progressing as expected and in line with the timeline provided.

We do our best to keep customers informed while ensuring timely order fulfillment, especially during busy seasons. If there’s anything more you feel we could improve, we’re always open to hearing your thoughts.

Advertised lead time was 2 months…

Advertised lead time was 2 months shorter than actual. No accurate estimate of actual delivery was given, 3 times the rescheduled date was incorrect. When the sauna finally came it did not have the wifi enabled controller and I had to go through harvia technical support to get fixed. The almost heaven spectacle base is a bit too flimsy to support the glass door at it doesn't have a base brace on the front. I added a floor to give it the support needed and prevent glass misalignment

The lead time was based on the estimate provided by the manufacturer, but due to an exceptionally high demand during the Holiday Season, production times extended beyond what we were initially told. Additionally, the rescheduled delivery dates were unfortunately impacted by severe weather conditions, which made it unsafe for the carrier to proceed as planned.

Regarding the heater issue, we’re very sorry for the inconvenience. It looks like there was an error in packing, and while we’re glad to hear it's been resolved, we know this isn’t the experience you expected. We also appreciate your feedback on the Almost Heaven Spectacle base as well - we typically receive very positive reviews on their craftsmanship, but we’ll certainly pass along your input to the manufacturer.

The Sauna looks great, it was simple to construct and the design is beautiful. I would give it 5 stars if my order was shipped complete. I am still waiting on my heater and rain cover which are both on back order. It’s been almost three months.

Wonderful!

Great experience from first inquiry…

Great experience from first inquiry to the shipping process. We feel the service matched the price tag. The hot tub we purchased has been a dream, especially on chilly winter evenings! There's nothing better than relaxing outside under the stars with a glass of wine.

Couldn’t be happier!

After spending quite some time scouting different options for a barrel sauna, we kept coming back to the Almost Heaven Audra. We were the happiest with Select Sauna's service and price, so we ended up going with them. We are still in the honeymoon phase with our new Audra sauna, but we couldn't be happier.

Having experienced a wide variety of saunas in Sweden and Finland last fall, we learned we wanted a sauna made from cedarwood and one with a large electric heater. We like the look of the barrel sauna and the porch is a plus. Despite the elitist hate, the barrel undoubtedly provides a nice enough sauna experience. Also, the cedarwood smells incredible. We hooked up the sauna about three weeks ago and have used it nearly every day since, and our kids (ages 7 and 9) are loving it just as much as we are!

The delivery was ahead of schedule, and the sauna itself is flawless – solid construction, intuitive assembly, and so easy to use with the Spirit with WiFi. It’s honestly changed our lives, creating many much more enjoyable evenings. We couldn’t be more pleased with our choice.

Salt Spheres: Avoidance of return and refund customer process

Waiting for almost a week to get a return for a sauna accessory is excessive. It's still not happening. Alex is not responding promptly and should issue the return and refund for a misleading product as soon as possible. Not thrilled with this customer service, but apparently that's par for the course from reading these other reviews.

Editing added notes for Alex: Alex, the return process should not include suspicious language that makes the customer feel like you will see if the vendor "approves" of the reason for the return. The product description and photography is indeed misleading and does not represent the actual TINY product that was received. Waiting for an RMA based on your communications with a 3rd party vendor does not make sense for a sauna accessory item like this. This product needs to be returned with a full refund, end of story. I don't understand how your company is treating customers so badly and acting as if their experience with poor products is their problem, not yours.

We're genuinely confused by your review. You have received responses to your emails. Your most recent message was sent outside our business hours, so it's unreasonable to expect an immediate reply.

Additionally, your return is not being delayed on our end. As we've already explained, we are waiting for an RMA from our supplier, which is standard procedure. We cannot process a return without following the correct steps, and we will update you as soon as we have confirmation. I made this clear in my last email.

Lastly, you claim the product is "misleading," yet this same item has been sold to many customers without issue. We would be happy to investigate if there were a genuine problem, but the limited information you provided, such as using your thumb as a size reference, doesn't give us much to work with.

For the record, we make a point to keep all reviews visible, even when they contain inaccurate information, such as in this case. We believe in transparency, and we trust that future customers will see the full context of this situation.

We are handling your return appropriately and within a reasonable timeframe. The size of the item does not impact the process. We will be in touch with you as soon as we hear back from our supplier, as we mentioned.

We have been upfront and honest throughout this process, and we do not use “suspicious” language. As we’ve clearly stated, returns must go through our supplier. We do not have a warehouse, so we cannot accept a return without going through them. Additionally, your claim that we are being unresponsive is simply dishonest. You have received timely replies, including a response to your live chat inquiry today.

Regarding the product, no other customers have reported issues with its size or description. When we asked for a proper measurement, you provided an unhelpful photo using your thumb as a reference, making it difficult to assess your claim. Despite this, we initiated the return process and are waiting for the supplier’s instructions. You may not like the process, but that does not mean you get to bypass it.

We stand by our fair policies and transparent customer service. If you are serious about resolving this, we suggest waiting for the return instructions, as we have already explained.
