Complained about unauthorised transaction - this transaction was cancelled but no refund given - I am still no wiser why this amount was taken for a website I did not sign up for - at the end of the day £28 has been taken from my acct against my wishes

I go through the site to try to cancel the subscription and I'm constantly being told that there is no history of this purchase.
So either the AI Chatbot is broken or I am currently being scammed.
I provided the website, my username the transaction ID everything that the site asked for and then they just reply back very quickly meaning that it's automated that they can't find my history so what? Am I gonna be charged by this forever? Do I need to cancel my credit card because of this incompetence? This is unacceptable. I will not be using this service
