Charged for a cancelled product

Charged me for a cancelled product over a year from the first cancellation, support is non existant, unable to escalate to them.

Scammers. wouldn't trust them with hosting a jpg.

Site is really unprofessional.

Horrible service

Horrible service. They can't actually help you with your account if you need it because they're just resellers. Good luck as a developer with delegate access to a customer's account - they can't help you help them. So, the customer is basically alone.

Fraudulent credit card charge 4 years later

As with the comment below, we had a scammy experience with secureserver charging a credit card without authorisation. Visacard should take note.

Our organisation had an account with GoDaddy many years ago. They were pretty crappy in every regard, so we moved to google domains in 2020.

4 ½ years later secureserver automatically charged my old credit card for "domain masking" on the domain that was no longer with them. For some reason the bank allowed it through. I had to go through the whole process of disputing the payment and finally it was cancelled by Visa International.

It turned out to be impossible to email them or their sub retailer or whatever it was that charged me to get an explanation: all I know is that it was for that account I had with them years earlier, which had been closed. Caveat emptor!

Worst scammers in the business…

Worst scammers in the domain Industry. They charge multiple of my canceled products. I cancel and then found out they charge my cards for canceled products. I am with them for 8 years. (multiple products).

Now they locked my domain. I called them over 10 times and they act like hyenas even though are obliged to transfer my domain. they shut down my email and website/domain. Will take them to court. Stay way from these scammers. Stay away from them or you will regret!!!!! I have a law degree in domain name law and this is what I am experiencing to them. Imaging what average people go through with them.

5⭐ - SecureServer: Unique Domain Name Wranglers

SecureServer (I believe) are owners of EZ Domain Name and far from being designed by 'Noobs', are a specialist domain name company offering unique, and in my humble opinion, quite fantastic domain name wrangling services!

I currently manage / look after in excess of 120 domain names for customers, clients, friends and myself (from my days working in UX)

SecureServer / EZ Domain Name have saved my ar5e twice now, when I screwed up on the renewals of 2 very high profile (read that as "desirable") domain names

Their Domain BackOrder service is not only mind-blowingly amazing for the price they charge, but I actually feared the 2 domains that I had failed to renew would be lost forever

I'll also be totally honest here, I genuinely thought that when this tech savvy domain company saw the names of the 2 domains I'd not only let expire, but also failed to catch them during their renewal grace period - basically consigning them to 90 days in registrar jail - with me and my client locked out of having any control over what happened to them until the 90 days 'jail time' were up!

And that still wasn't the worst part of my situation - When the 90 days lock-out are up, they go back onto the open market - we wouldn't have any preferential status in buying them back again - we would be just like any another 'Joe' - able to snap them up and register them when they were released!

Step up EZ Domain Name, and their owners SecureServer.net

They offer an amazing service that repeatedly checks the availability of a given domain name, so as it comes up for release, they step in and buy it back on your behalf - a totally automated service, costing less than 40 bucks per domain!

A recent GoDaddy appraisal suggests each .COM domain is worth in excess of US$ 3K - but I know my clients have been offered double that previously to sell

I'm definitely in their debt! They not only saved my bacon, but were trustworthy enough not to nab these lucrative domain names themselves, which they had every opportunity to do; The SLA for an unsuccessful domain backorder is just a transfer of the fee I'd been charged onto another product or service they offer!

No hesitation at all in recommending them and the domain backorder service they offer - 5⭐

What a mess

I moved from 1&1 (IONOS) to secure server about 2 years ago. I don't remember why.
Now, I want to transfer back to IONOS, because I like IONOS instant support, not like secure servers.
I hate the way the customer gets treated by this company. I can't transfer my domain back to or away from any Secure Server account and the support could not solve the issue.
What now? Im stuck with my domain.
For me (as an IT Information Protection Administrator), this isn't acceptable.
The website where everything gets managed looks like it got designed by a HTML & CSS noob.
It is a complete mess and it just looks ugly. It is not user friendly at all and an insult to the user/customer which spends money (monthly and yearly). Secure server is in no way comparable to Google Domains, IONOS etc.
It is just a nightmare, absolutely not recommended.
