Consumers should be cautious

zero star or minus

Avangate now 2checkout charged us four times 74.36 dollars for a Bitdefender one year service, but no service was ever provided. Attempts to resolve the matter, but the charges were not corrected.

This experience raises serious concerns about how customers are treated. Consumers should be cautious, and we believe this company should be reviewed by the appropriate authorities. Their new name is 2Checkout.

Why on earth would Paypal still allow…

Why on earth would Paypal still allow these people to pull money from their clients accounts?

I see multiple reviews going back to 2023 where Paypal was notified of their criminality yet they still allow them to operate today. This can only mean that Paypal is somehow in on the scam action and it’s time to use another way to pay vendors. We no longer trust PayPal after 14 years 😢

DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY.

It is a scam. As an affiliate, you work for months to introduce companies, fair prices ... and then when you have made some money from sales, THEY SUSPEND YOUR ACCOUNT without any motivation, and the money you were supposed to receive goes to their company. The support service is a disaster; they walk you from one department to another, and then you sit for days waiting for a response. ACCOUNT SUSPENDED BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT THEY WANT.

Avangate Inc. Rogue software seller exploiting the tial period to steal money from clients

I saw the advert for malware-byte with a trial period of 14 days. I subscribed for it for the trial. There was no Avangate mentioned in the trial. As soon as I downloaded the malwarebyte for the trial, Avangate withdrew $53.99 from my account. A 14 days period for trial means that no money would be withdrawn until after the trial. It seems that Avangate floats software for trial to deceive people and trap them into a fraud. As of now, I do not have Malwarebyte and Avangate has stolen $53.99 and has refused to refund the money. This is a warning for anyone trying to buy a software online. Please avoid Avangate Inc. at all cost because your money will obviously be stolen by Avangate. To prove my honesty, here is my purchase Invoice ID: 216652134

Rogue behavior of Avangate

Avangate Invoice ID: 216652134
I downloaded a trial Malwarebytes.com. The trial was scheduled for 14 days. The concept is that the company would not withdraw money until after the trial period of 14 days. Just 3 days within the trial period, Avangate (the seller), withdrew $53.99 from my PayPal account. This is in breach of the concept of a trial period. I phoned the company and it promised to return my money. As of now, Avangate has refused to return my money. This is a rogue behavior and it is not acceptable. Buyers should take note of Avangate INC; avoid this company's scam

Scammed me and the company I work for

Scammed me and our company. Took advantage of our marketing strategies, confidential security information in the name of being partners. Don't trust enormous business proposals, especially when it's too good to be true.

Not a scam

I didn't recognise this on my statement, it turned out to be for some music samples I'd bought 5 months ago through Fruity Loops (music software).

Lots of freelancers charge through this, but if they sit on the bill for months, it's unsurprising people won't recognise the charge on their card statement.

Resolved

I'M STILL WAITING FOR MY PAYMENT!

I'm a member of their Affiliate program.
It's been more than 2 months since I first contacted them regarding my problem with receiving the payment. I've provided all pieces of information they need. Send a screenshot of my paypal account.

Even asked by EMPLOYER to contact them directly (I was promoting our software and helping other influencers to sell it, the money I'm talking about come from selling via Avangate's affiliate program a software of company I worked for!)

So, after the employer contacted them they CONFIRMED that indeed, the account belongs to me.

All the documents (scan o my ID) they asked for, they have it.
And i'm still waiting for the payment.

*Oh, one more thing. After a year of having there my account, and generating about a hundred of leads, they needed to confirm my account again. AFTER I asked for my payment. Yeah, after a year of making leads...
At the beginning, when I created the account I contacted the support, and my account was confirmed + situation explained. But somehow they needed to confirm it again, asking for a list where the affiliate links are posted. AFTER A YEAR of posting links.
Guys, If I knew it's necessary, I would create a detailed list in excel. I've used Avangate's affiliate program to create discount codes for influencers that worked with us, I have no idea if they posted these links only in their YouTube video descriptions, or used it somewhere on their social media. If I was aware from the beginning, I would be more cautious and ask the Influencers to post the codes and affiliate links only on their YouTube channels.

I'm still waiting for the payment. Guys, this takes too long, and I would never suspect I have to drag into this my employer.

And I can't believe I was promoting your affiliate program to YouTubers, created videos how to use your panel...

I'm giving myself one last month for trying to contact with you and solve this situation.

__

Edit:
The situation was resolved, I've received my payment after months of contacting the support.

Scam company

It's a scam company run by barely literate Russians. Avoid at all costs. They do not seem to understand anything about the business they are engaged in at all, but I guess that doesn't matter if you're just scamming people. Just awful from top to bottom.
