Not customer friendly
Wouldn't recommend, it's not a customer friendly experience. Unlike in other stores, it's hard to know the price of the couches/chairs because many either don't have a price tag, or there are too many different and confusing prices listed in the booklet they give you. Then the older salesman gets/acts offended and impolite when you ask if the price is negotiable and if the price includes delivery. Mind you, this is a normal question in furniture stores, and in every other store they answered politely.
This is the sales tactics Seats and Sofas is known for, but now I found out for myself. I think it's counterproductive. I walked out. If they're like this *before* buying something, I can't imagine how they are *after* buying. Many other stores out there.

WORST!!!!
WORST!!!!! They sell used/second-hand sofas as “brand new”. When my sofa arrived, I noted dirty marks on the sofa and around the edges. After enquiry, the salesman in Mijdrecht told me the sofa was on display for about a month, yet Zaandam sold it to me as “new”. I raised this with service department, Zaandam and Mijdrecht, but I am not receiving ANY support or explanations to this matter from anyone - after ONE month!!! I don’t recommend this place at all!!!

Wij vinden het uiteraard niet acceptabel dat u een bank heeft ontvangen met gebruikssporen die als nieuw is verkocht. Ook betreuren wij het dat u van verschillende vestigingen tegenstrijdige informatie heeft gekregen en geen passende ondersteuning heeft ontvangen vanuit onze serviceafdeling.

I have 2 main problems with them:
I have 2 main problems with them:
1. they don't communitcate when you can expect your couch, between 8 and 14 weeks. But when you ask at the 8. week, they can't provide an estimation, if it's next week or 6 weeks later.
2. They sent damaged couch. After the claim, they just offered 50 EUR (of the original price of 1698). Which I did not accept, because not fair.
to return and wait another 8 - 14 weeks is also not fair
I wanted 10 % refund, but they insisted.

I visited Seats&Sofas Zandaam to find my new sofa, and I was pleasantly surprised by how Kevin helped us choose the right one for our place. Knowing it might be a big step and investment, Kevin took us through the different models, showing all feature, different fabrics and possible customizations. At the end, I bought one couch from the available stock and have it in my place in just a few days. Highly recommend visiting the store and getting one of their sofas.

Poor experience
The sales team is super aggressive, I went there twice and they try to close the deal the moment you enter. The website discounts are also misleading. When you see a discount on their website it says something but when you actually visit the store they say it’s without the features and includes only th basic model.

No after sales care
Sweet girl helping us build and design our sofa in the store, and it came as agreed, but when we put it together the pillows are not matching up in the corner. Looks like a manufacturing fault and not at all what you would expect from at 2600€ sofa. After sending a complaint and waiting about 5 weeks for feedback. We are told that this fault is within the error margins and nothing will be done about it. Important to note is that the margins cannot be shared with us, and we have never provided any measurements of the error. Waited 12 weeks for a botched sofa. Surprising that a shop who sells nothing but sofas doesn't know how to build one.

Fraudulent, Unprofessional, and Dishonest – Stay Away!
I usually don’t leave negative reviews, but my experience here was so frustrating and dishonest that I have to warn others.
I ordered seats and a sofa, and after agreeing on a price, I paid 50% upfront. Only after taking my payment did they inform me that the order would take six weeks to arrive — something they never mentioned before the payment. When I asked to cancel, they refused and said it would cost me 30% of the order as a cancellation fee — again, something that was never disclosed beforehand.
The situation only got worse. Delivery times kept changing again and again with no proper updates. After weeks of waiting, when they finally came for delivery, not only was the delivery late, but they also tried to change the price, asking for more money than what we originally agreed upon. When I refused to pay the new, higher price, they took the sofa back with them!
Now, unbelievably, they are still demanding money from me even though I never received my sofa.
This experience was nothing short of a scam. They are unprofessional, dishonest, and disrespectful toward customers. Save yourself the time, money, and stress — stay far away from this company.
