Scammers. Ordered a couch with the island in one side and came in the other one. When I went to complain they made everything to cover the mistake even modifying the order

Update: Seats and Sofas have responded to this post, no way to send the details to them on here, have emailed head office more than once and not received any response from them. They have all my contact details after lengthy communication.

Scammers and thieves, aggressive and misleading sales tactics, no explanation of terms and conditions, false promises. They will take 50% of your money for absolutely nothing should anything go wrong and you ask to cancel the contract.

Ricarlo will then pretend to assist you to get you out of the store with a "solution" and this solution will be declined by Head Office and they will take half your money.

I bought sofa worthy 3000 Euro on 26th May, I paid 1000 Eur downpayment and the balance to be paid within deliver time (6 to 12 weeks) When arrived home from the shop, I got transfer letter from my employer and moving to a different state. I immediately visited the store to stop the order and requested for refund since it was within 24hrs and presume my order was still in the system. The staff and Hague office remained dismissive and the only option was I can cancel the order but I have Tobias 30% fee of the total amount (900 Eur). While doing the purchase , the sales lady never explained the terms and conditions to me, and the reason for canceling is beyond my control why should I pay 30% on an order that hasn’t been submitted?

Yeah, it was a good buy. The sofa gonna take a while to arrive in my house, so i can only tell if its good or not when it arrives.

Ordering and helpful was good but unfortunately I received the wrong sleepers couch. Still waiting for the replacement. Hopefully I'll receive it soon and then give a more accurate review

We were treated really well. The seller did his effort to show us all the models and ask the right questions to make us chose the right couch.

We ordered a Sofa in November 2022, it was delivered in December but with broken parts. While delivering, transport guy showed us that one part of sofa is broken. Immediately created an case for this, now it is March ending and we still don’t have the remaining part. Every time we get in touch they say there is no update and they will contact us back once they have some update. Still there is no update. I wouldn’t recommend it even to anyone. Horrible customer service.

I can highly recommend this store. I had really good experience to buy new sofa for a really good price. Quality of the products is excellent. As for me, better then in jysk, ikea.

On Saturday, Dec. 17 at 16:3,0 we were at Megastores, Den haag, and we intended just to look at our options for buying a sofa, and buy one later. Then we entered the Seats and Sofa Store and the seller told us that they have a big sale that we will miss if we don't buy on the same day. The seller even mentioned that there is a timer on their website that will end at 6 P.M, and we lose our chance after that. He persuaded us to buy a set of banks for 4150-Euros by decreasing the price in 3 steps, and we signed the contract at 17:45 (just 15 minutes before the shop gets closed). In the evening we looked at their website again and figured out that the sale is going on until the end of Sunday. We usually don't make a decision to shop 4000 Euros in such a short time. If we knew we had more time, we would have checked at least a few more stores to see our other options. The seller was not honest with us and made us hurry to buy the banks. So we went there on Sunday at 11 in the morning (just a few minutes after the shop was open the next morning) and asked to cancel the order and they didn't accept saying that it is in the process. It is strange considering the facts that: 1-the delivery time is 4 weeks in our invoice; 2-it was a weekend and not an official working time; and 3- it was in less than an hour of their opening time that we informed them about our change of mind. I should also add that they had the same sale signs on Saturday and Sunday.
We are really sad and feel deceived. It is stated in the invoice that we should pay 30% of the purchase price as compensation if we want to cancel the order. We contacted their customer service on the same day (Sunday Dec.18 at 12:50 pm), explained the situation and told them that we are fine with paying a 100 Euros or so, for administration costs to cancel the order. But paying 30% of the price as stated in the signed invoice is not fair for such a short notice and while the delivery time is 4 weeks. After passing close to one month, their customer service has not contacted us yet.
Moreover, since our purchase we regularly check their website. Every time we checked their website on a weekend since then, there is a "Super Saturday" and "Crazy Sunday" with a timer. So, what their employee told us at the time of our purchase was completely wrong.

The agent's explanation about the couches is perfect. I felt everything is clear and helpful.
Also, I am grateful to the agent that made a fantastic deal for me.

You can make quite a good deal there since you can negotiate a bit with this friendly team

The purchase process was easy, payment also, only the delivery that was not included and could be. When arrived at home, one of my sofa feet was broken but i didn´t see it in the store, so not sure were it happened.
