SeaSucker ignores customers and they don’t give what you ordered

I ordered a Lightranger with a SeaSucker mount from SeaSucker. I only received the SeaSucker mount. I called, emailed, called and called. Kept getting ignored.

Still two weeks of trying to get an update on the missing Lightranger. No response. They never pick up the phone. It just goes to voicemail. They don’t respond to emails, or online chat.

Horrible experience dealing with them.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding Customer Service & Top-Notch Integrity

We were initially drawn to SeaSucker’s innovative vacuum mount technology and rightly so. The racks and accessories looked fantastic on rugged vehicles like Land Rovers, and we were excited to use them ourselves. We purchased a table and side table in the US in December 2024 and tried installing them on our Volkswagen after returning home to the Netherlands in May 2025. Unfortunately, the thinner doors of our vehicle didn’t support the system well and left visible impressions when is use.

What truly impressed us was SeaSucker’s exceptional service after the purchase. Months after our original order, we reached out to explain the situation. Not only did they take the time to understand our experience, but they generously allowed us to return the products and even provided store credit. That level of understanding and flexibility especially across continents and time speaks volumes.

We’re now purchasing accessories that are a better fit for our car. Their willingness to stand behind their products and support customers even well beyond the usual timeframe deserves recognition. A truly professional and customer first company. Highly recommended!

Cost vs customer service

I attempted to reach customer service by phone for the best part of a morning I was looking to buy about a thousand dollars wort of products. Every time the phone would ring it would go directly to music no answer. I emailed the company and asked for a call back. When I did get a call back the rep acted as of I was bothering him with questions about shipping times. I also asked if they were having phone issues since they didn't answer. I was told the phones were working fine they just didn't have time to answer. To me it sounds like they are to busy to deal with an order as small as mine. I will not purchase anything from a company who acts as if they are doing the customer a favor by selling them their products.

The vacuum pumps are very flimsy and need replacing regularly. Now although not that expensive, $9 , they want $240 to ship it to China, whereas a courier is quoting $18. How do they justify those sort of prices?
So basically a very expensive bit of kit is rendered useless by their shipping costs.
But they did reply to my email.

Extremely dangerous

Dangerious. Bike crashed.
Bike was mounted on the car with Seasucker Talon QR. On the highway the bike fell/flew of the roof. A truck drove over the bike.
Fortunately no injuries but thousands worth of damage.
Before use the instructions were carefully followed and checked by two people. And two people checked that the bike was mounted right before driving. 20 minutes later on the highway... gone.
