I have purchased replacements from Sears PartsDirect before. Everything I ordered fit exactly. The shipping was within a 2-3 day turnover. This time it was even quicker. I own a 2005 Craftsman GT5000 garden tractor. The drive belt was starting to slip off the drive pulley. The old pulley was starting to wobble so I was hoping a new pulley would keep the belt from slipping off.

I had to remove the seat, back fender, and gas tank along with the high-low selector rod. The new pulley fit perfectly. The shaft hole on the new pulley seemed to be updated to not have the raised piece on the flat side of the hole. It looked to be a tad smaller to make up for that difference. To me, not having that raised area seems to be a better design since that raised area seemed to have worn down on the old pulley causing the wobble.

I am very pleased with the new pulley. The old part number has been updated from 184787 to this new pulley part number. I would recommend purchasing from Sears instead of other sellers to ensure you are getting a quality part that is designed specifically for your application.
