Incompetent Company

After being told by a few different Sea Bag stores and reading on your website you take sails and recycle them we decided to donate our Catamaran Spinnaker Sail to Sea Bags. Well forget that. Got to the store an hour away and they told us they were no longer taking sails. Don’t even try to reach customer service as I called 3 different days as well as wrote an email. Never heard back from anyone. Wasted time and trip!!!!

Believe the reviews about poor customer service

In a review I did for a handbag, I said that I was rethinking Sea Bags being my new favorite brand, and now that I can personally confirm that their customer service (not in-store) is poor and inconsistent, I'm afraid there's no more thinking needed about it. I've never had to return a handbag in my life and I also don't usually spend $150 on them, but the lupine stripes was just too cute on-line and when I saw it in person at a store, I had to have it! Two months later, the "whipping" unraveled and came off so I emailed customer service. I didn't hear anything from them until I put an uncomplimentary comment on their Facebook page. Then I got an email and we got to the point where I was going to return the bag to be repaired. I guess the next step would be to send me a return label to use, but communication stopped dead in a short time. I emailed multiple times after the ghosting, both directly to the person I had been emailing with and then to the generic customer service email. It's been a month since the email conversations started. The store where I bought the bag is 4 hours away where I usually only get to once a year. I will actually be in that area again soon and plan to just return the bag for a refund - and never buy another one! AI has been showing me other "beachy" bag companies on social media so it's not like Sea Bags is the only game in town.

Problem solved!

I was initially concerned and upset because my package was delivered to the wrong address with the FedEx confirmation picture showing as much. I had been emailing and left a message and did t get a response, but then was able to get in touch with Customer Service and spoke with Liza who was wonderful, helpful and let me know the company is very small and will have some communication delays. All my issues were resolved and I am so happy and relieved- looking forward to my matching bag! Highly recommend!

We had pretty high expectations but…

We had pretty high expectations but when we opened the box and saw the bags,,,, they simply blew past the mark. They are absolutely fabulous.
The quality of construction and aesthetic value is above and beyond,,,,,,excellent.
All correspondence was promptly and accurately handled with the utmost of professionalism.

I normally would not take the time to…

I normally would not take the time to write a review but I ordered a bag received it and I want to return it I’ve sent two emails to customer service and left two voicemail messages for customer service during the course of a week and no one has gotten back to me. Worst customer service ever. This bag was not inexpensive and it is defective. All I want to do is return it and I can not get anyone to respond at customer service

Amazing Company, Quality Bags

I have made multiple purchases with Sea Bags of Maine online. I have received every item promptly.
The bags are high quality and will hold up a lifetime.
Customer service is exceptional, always personable and friendly. They will bend over backwards to make you a happy & returning customer.
If you're looking for a unique bag and exceptional service.
I highly recommend Sea Bags of Maine.
Who wouldn't want a bag that has sailed the sea?!

Never got my order and the owner called me names when I reported my experience on different sites

I ordered a bag from this company and it never arrived. The company blamed the shippers and the shippers blamed the company. Either way I was out 200 bucks and no one cared.

I could never get anyone on the phone, never get any reply via email. Just a huge mess.

When I then reported this on Yelp, Google and various other sites I was called names by the CEO claiming I am VINDICTIVE.
