I was given the attention needed since I was not experienced in purchasing a gun. All representatives, and there were several available, were very courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable. I would recommend anyone go to Scheels to purchase a firearm.

They're in it for the money. Just like most companies. I guess they figure they have enough customers and really don't care about retun customers.
I was trying to make 9 payment from different cards, accounts, bank, PayPal-and the result was always-order cancelled. Wrong billing address, what was impossible(got confirmation from banks, everything was ok). Looks like they have a tons of troubles in their system. Really disappointed to online shop.support service said the problem on second it security protection system. Why it should be my problem. Need to wait 3-5 day when all my money will be returned.

Dropped off 2 high-end Cannondale bicycles wanting new drivetrains (front sprockets, rear cassettes & chains) plus jockey wheels for my derailleur.
Their head technician insisted I didn't need new drivetrains but only a new derailleur. OK, but as soon as I drove 100 miles home they called demanding payment for the derailleur which seemed very odd because I asked to pay money up front which they declined. So instead of reading my credit card no# over the phone I returned the next day and paid for it.
A few weeks later they called saying my bikes were ready. So I drove back the 100 miles to find the bikes STILL in unworkable condition and the head tech finally agreeing that I need complete drivetrains??
So I purchased $400 in inferior parts because they were now insisting that comparable high-end parts were not available! Then I drive 100 miles home only to get another call saying that since a $31 part was not paid for NO WORK COULD BE DONE ! Again they were asking I give my cc no# to customer service over the phone?? That will never happen !

Normally I’m a huge fan of store and service, always make trip to store when in town. This time they all fell flat!!
I made a purchase and CS rep wasn’t best to begin with, my purchase had to be picked up from another vendor (I live OOS) so she charged me $45 for shipping. Ok.. after purchase my spouse was making small talk to a salesman who mentions the Scheels in the state I live is actually now open. The shipping is free if not to far. It’s a bit of a drive but definitely worth $45.
I go back to cashier station and request to have changed to Scheels in my state. CS reps say I have to work the same ‘happy’ person. The 1st time.., yay… her attitude was ever better… she gets a bit more rude like it’s my fault I didn’t ask. So I say, ‘you didn’t offer this as an option’ her reply ‘I don’t have a map of your state to know if you live close’
As you can tell it did not go well. I’m then informed 2 day shipping and I can pick up my item. After 4 days calling my store doesn’t have item. Going back and forth Finally get ahold call Colorado and yes.., they NEVER SHIPPED THE ITEM. Never reached out to me to let me they had issue, never sent it, nothing’
Just sat at their store for over a week. I get a ‘supervisor’ who confirms it has now been sent and I’ll be able to pick it 2.5 weeks after the purchase, when I made purchase to get 2-4 days and planned this 4 hour drive then.
No real apologies, nothing.

May be the worst online experience of all time. The employees (could be robots) seem more concerned about covering their ass than making a sale or giving any kind of service. Though employee owned, I think you have to give up your rights to make a judgement call in order to work there as well as be a member of the flat earth society. My credit card company approved the sale but Scheels being much more technically advanced than Visa proudly rejected the sale.
The cashier I had was really nice and helpful. I think she deserves a raise.

Went in to purchase a bike for my daughter. Had an associate named Ray come and help out immediately. He was very knowledgeable in bikes and had a great sense of humor. Would recommend buy a bike there and hopefully you get Ray to help you out.
Scheels in Idaho is an amazingly beautiful store with wonderfully friendly employees. I'm not much for shopping, but my wife and I spent a couple of hours looking around (and spending about $300) and I highly recommend the store. This is how retail should be, but all too rarely is. Thank you Scheels team!
Wish I could leave a negative. We bought freeze dryer a month ago. They didn’t have the kit but promised that we would get everything within a week. We still have not gotten this kit. I have paid over 5000 for this and still cannot use it!!!
When I went into scheels to buy a pair of basketball shoes, they were sold out. So, then I got balls to put into my shoes after track practice but, at the check out all of the cash registers shut down and I only had Apple Pay which meant that I had to wait 45 minutes to write my card information down on a piece of paper. Then after an hour, they closed and I didn’t receive my item after buying it. 1/5 stars. Get you’re stuff together scheels.
It was a great experience, just a lot a people due to grand opening. I will be definitely coming back.
