Scaffold mart is crap

This company is crap! My husband had to pick up the scaffold today. It is very late arriving for one. He get there and half of the parts are not there and tractor supply with their drifty butts, said nothing came with it. This is so! I don’t even know the words for them. Just Beep! Beep! Beep! My words would not be descent. Look on your website where you have the item and description.

WARNING! Purchase elsewhere

WARNING! DO NOT BUY HERE!!

Just spoke with Greg, the manager, after over a month long drawn out series of lies, ignoring, misleading, and overall deceptive course of events. I purchased 4 stacks of scaffold, the safety top, and various other components for projects. The shipments were sent at 2 different times, and dropped by the delivery company. After removing the components from their packaging that evening when I got home from work I found that all my frames had been damaged. Pictures were sent to Scaffold mart to inform them of the issues, and over 4 weeks went by with no response of a claim being filed. I called Scaffold Mart to inquire and was told the claim “was denied.” Following this information I called the delivery company to request further information and check details. The manager of claims informed me that no claim had been filed in their system by Scaffold mart whatsoever. Upon hearing the revelation I requested to speak with the manager Greg, and we played phone tag for another week. We finally got back in touch today and in summation here were the options he presented; 1. $200.00 (mind you my order was over $3000.00) or a credit towards future purchases. I counted offer with 25% of my total purchase price returned to my credit card for damages, and then lowered it to $500.00 so I could take the time to repair it myself. Greg’s response “When I get back to my office I’ll see what I can do. You didn’t do what you were supposed to do (notate the delivery drives notes) so why should I have to pay for this?”

This may very well be the most unprofessional, ludicrous, negligent, bipolar, deceptive company I’ve ever been unfortunate enough to purchase from. Word of caution, spend the extra money and purchase elsewhere. I wish I would have.

Do not use this company if shipping is required!

Do not use this company if you need shipping. ScaffoldMart ships via YRC, my order was almost a month ago. I was told my order would be delivered today, I took the day off and they didn't show. This order was to be delivered on 12 April 2021 as of today 27 April 2021 nothing!!!

ScaffoldMart ships defective items.

ScaffoldMart called me when I placed my order and answered my questions. After receiving the order their answers to my questions were contrary to the answers they provided on shipping damage and defective items. They now state, on their website it says As-Is and No Refunds. I had 1 damaged item and 6 defective iacks after receiving. UPDATE:
After they reviewed the situation, ScaffoldMart shipped out replacement jacks at no cost. Was not a perfect experience but had a good ending.

You get what you pay for

You get what you pay for. Sometimes. Yes, the prices were reasonable, BUT the quality is so-so. In particular the PAINT is terrible. It was chipped and scratched already when it showed up. Terribly wrapped for shipping. A few years later now, and after being used only a few times and stored inside, the paint is chipping off extensively letting surface rust in. If it was stored outside, I'm certain it would have rusted away by now. Too bad you can't count on a reasonable price on reasonable product. I didn't expect a million dollar finish, but it would be nice if the paint at least stayed on. More crap being pushed out the door with only the $$ being important. So, it's usable, but crappy.

Great Product, Lousy Service & Broken Promises.

First, the scaffolding arrived as ordered and in perfect condition. The ordering experience was less than acceptable. The salesman failed to email a document for me to sign before the scaffolding could ship. So three weeks later and repeated emails- no response and no scaffolding. i finally called the salesman and was met with apologies, an explanation and a promise to refund shipping costs. 3 months later and I'm still waiting on the refund. they have not responded to those inquiries either.

Customer service needs some improvement

Needed some assistance with an order so I called it in. Ordered 2 sets of scaffolding, 3--7' walk boards. On a Friday at about 4:45 I called to see if they had 12' walk boards or planks for my roof jacks. The salesperson I spoke with said they only had 10'. Thought about it for a minute and decided to order one. When I received the order it turned out to be a 10' walk board for scaffolding. I told the shipper it was not what I ordered and refused to take the item. WOW what a fuse. Scaffoldmart said to take the item and we would deal with it later. I said no, lets deal with it now. He said they don't even sell the 12" x 10' walkboard, Even though this was the same person that I talked with when I added to the order. He informed me that it would cost more to ship it back than it was worth. Bottom line they informed me that I had to take all or nothing. It cost them more to ship it all back and have a happy customer. A real shame. Hope it was just a bad day for the person I handled my problem. Order form someone else in Arizona and saved $ 42.00

I had an initial problem with shipping

I had an initial problem with shipping. Materials were shipped unprotected and came damaged. However, customer service was excellent and corrected the problem right away. I was very impressed with how they handled it.

To be honest...

To be honest I did have problems. The cross members on the scaffold were too tight, way too tight. I called ScaffoldMart and explained what was going on. I was met with sincere apologies and replacement parts were shipped that day. Anyone can sell scaffolds. Everyone eventually has problems. Its how a company handles their customers and problems that defines them. I could not have been more satisfied with their response.

Contingency Reps

Not only did I get the best scaffold pricing, I was also able to seamlessly negotiate and get help from various representatives in the absence of the original individual quoting my request.
I have no reservations recommending Scaffoldmart to others.

Great service

Great prices. Great service. Great products. Purchased 7 sets of scaffolding. The freight company bend one frame and Scaffold Mart shipped me another one at no charge. Customer Service kept me updated from start to finish. Would recommend them to everyone.

Scaffoldmart

Product as described, and pricing is good. Shipping cost bit high.

Crossbars and frame decent quality. Aluminum walkway in two pieces (each full lengthwise) not one solid piece like others, so moves slightly when walking on it; this is really my only issue with these otherwise good for the price frames, and it's only a minor issue.

Some minor issues with shipping company, but arguably not fault of Scaffoldmart. Did eventually arrive.
