HNY - 220% Price Increase and still no 2FA
At 8:15 this morning I received an email from Satago. I expected it to say Happy New Year, but it instead informed us of the price increase that would take place on 01/02/25. The price increase equates to a 220% increase to allow us to use the features we currently use. The minimum price increase for any customer is 80%. The justification for this is that they have a number of new features that we have no use for.
We have only one feature that we are after and that is two factor authentication on our accounts. The UK government recommends all firms of all sizes complete the Cyber Essentials certification and the Cyber Essentials certification requires that all cloud services have two factor authentication enabled. This means Satago are not providing the minimum recommendations of the UK government.
It would be nice to receive some new features that benefit the customer, instead of new features that just generate commission for Satago. It has been over 2 years since I requested this functionality and this shows how much Satago listen to their customers.
It's a shame as the product is good and generally works well, but this is the second extremely dramatic price increase since we've been using the product and shows how the company operates.

Happy So Far
I have only been using Satago for a few weeks but have already noticed a good response from our customers. I have had payment dates advised, remittances sent and copy invoices requested all off the back of reminders sent using Satago (which you can fully customize). I have had a couple of good training sessions on the system which seems nice and easy to navigate round. Happy so far!

Satago were amazing
Satago were amazing. We decided to pay for our subscription monthly after renewing annually. Now in my experience, normally requesting such a switch from a supplier would have been a total rigmarole. Not with Satago, they provided a full credit refund within a matter of days and set up the monthly payment. No hassle, no questions just honest action. Well done Satago. Setting up Satago
After my 1 - 1 with an account manager when I activated my subscription with Sage, I set to getting the system set up. At each stage as I got stuck or was unsure of something, I went into chat and there was always someone there to help me move to the next step. Lauren and Emily were patient with me as I tried to over complicate the process but brought me back to a simple solution.
The templates are easy to personalise in your own company vernacular as well.

I asked for support with our account as something unexpected had happened, my enquiry was answered very promptly by Emily who helped me understand why this had happened, I thought this was going to create a lot of manual updating on our side but she then directed my enquiry to the engineers who managed to run something in the background that fixed the problem. So I have been very impressed with the first class customer support.
