I’ve been here twice now for Nose…

I’ve been here twice now for Nose Threads. Once a few years ago when they were trending during lockdown. They were good but I went back recently because my nose had started to droop again. I couldnt fault my experience. The doctor was absolutely incredible. She was done in 30 minutes start to finish. I loved the lift although it was a little bit too high to start off with. Once it’d relaxed I felt i’d had a nose job. The clinic is clean, relaxed and everyone is very accomodating and friendly. Highly highly recommend.

I had a very disappointing experience…

I had a very disappointing experience with an aesthetic clinic in London and would not recommend them based on my treatment.

I went in for advice after having a poorly done thread lift at another clinic, where threads were starting to protrude from my nose. During my consultation, I was given two options: either have the threads removed, or undergo a targeted laser/radiofrequency treatment. The second option was presented as simple, pain-free, and—most importantly—a one-session solution to fix the issue.

I specifically asked about how many sessions would be needed, and I was clearly told that one session would be sufficient to resolve the problem.

However, immediately after the treatment, when I went to reception to pay, I was encouraged to purchase a package of three sessions “for a better price.” This completely contradicted what I had just been told by the doctor minutes earlier. It felt like a clear attempt to upsell unnecessary treatments, which left me confused and concerned about the honesty of their advice.

Unfortunately, the treatment itself did not resolve the issue. Within days, the thread began protruding again, just as before. Not only that, but the area became more inflamed, painful, and appeared worse than prior to treatment.

I feel misled into believing that one session would fix the problem, when it clearly did not. Instead, I was left in a worse condition and faced with the prospect of needing further treatments.

Overall, I found the experience unprofessional, inconsistent, and driven more by sales than patient care. I would advise others to be cautious and seek a second opinion before committing to treatment here.

Think carefully before booking, my personal experience

I’m writing this to warn others based on my personal experience.

My experience with Dr. Mahsa Saleki was deeply negative. There was a clear lack of transparency from the start, and the treatment caused both physical and emotional trauma. After the procedure, I was unexpectedly asked to pay more money, and I was told issues would be fixed, which never happened.
When I raised concerns, I received threatening messages via email and WhatsApp, including being told solicitors would be involved. The arrogance shown throughout this process was shocking.

A medical career is usually associated with intelligence, ethics, and genuinely caring professionals. Sadly, in my experience, Dr. Saleki represents the complete opposite of what medicine is supposed to stand for.

After everything, I had to file a formal complaint with my bank. Thankfully, after reviewing the evidence, they refunded the full amount, which says a lot.

This has been an extremely distressing experience, and I strongly encourage anyone considering treatment here to think very carefully and do thorough research beforehand.

Avoid Dr Mahsa Saleki. Beauty Treatments Shouldn’t Come With Intimidation

Unfortunately, my experience was not positive. I visited the clinic intending to get the “foxy eye” treatment advertised on the website (£499). After discussing options, we ended up going ahead with a PDO eyebrow lift, Botox and a CO₂ treatment instead. I explained that my main concern was needing to work two days later, and that I could postpone the procedure by a month if necessary. Based on how everything unfolded, I personally felt the treatments were rushed.

On the same day, I received a call stating that I needed to pay an additional £1,000 because the wrong type of threads had been used. This was unexpected, and no one followed up with me afterwards — I had to email the clinic myself to get clarification.

From the first moment after the treatment, I felt my eyebrows looked uneven, and I mentioned this immediately. I was told it was swelling and was moved quickly to another room. At the review appointment the brows were still uneven, and I was advised to return in a month because no touch-ups could be done yet. One month later, the only adjustment offered was additional Botox. After a month, the only visible result is a clear asymmetry in my eyebrows — just uneven brows, not improvement of the original concern. I asked to see the initial photos to compare, and was told no extra threads would be added because I had paid for a different type, even though I had originally been told a mistake was made.

Regarding the CO₂ treatment, I was given a discount as part of doing three procedures on the same day, but only half of my face was treated, so I am unsure if the discount applied correctly.

I am also attached a before-and-after photo for context on Google reviews — the main difference is that in the “after” picture, my eyebrows are done with makeup.

One of the most worrying aspects for me was the communication. I received direct messages from the clinic that I personally perceived as threatening and intimidating, which made the experience feel even more pressured. I also noticed responses posted publicly on Google reviews where explanations changed and, in my opinion, were not fully accurate. Seeing that many other patients have shared similar concerns, it became even more difficult to trust the process.

Overall, I personally feel I spent £1,150 without receiving the outcome, care or transparency that was discussed. I have supporting photos and message records for anyone who may need context.

I have photos, screenshots, and clinic messages saved as supporting evidence if needed.

My first review got deleted from google…

My first review got deleted from google even after being asked to provide bank statement receipts of my actual payment but I will continue to warn customers!

I was disappointed at the results of the cheek and jowl threadlift as the procedure was expensive and unfortunately contrary to what the Doctor had stated, the results did not last longer than a few weeks.

Furthermore when trying to book a follow up which I was recommended to do by Dr Saleki as she was not happy with the unevenness herself; it was difficult, almost impossible to contact the assistant by text or whatsapp which was what I was recommended to do.

A few months later when i did finally get in contact with the assistant and received a reply, she could not clarify to me whether or not I would have to be paying extra in a follow up appointment after paying over £800 already.

I have been so disappointed in the unprofessional customer service and results compared to other Doctors I have visited and had treatments with, especially since my picture has been used on the Instagram page even though I was unhappy with the result. It was impossible to get in contact with you via the contact number you provide and also impossible to get an answer to whether I would have to pay for further treatments at the follow-up.

Waste of money.

Got the threads treatment it didn’t work. Lack of customer care or contact. Staff seem uninterested.

I was fobbed off and told I needed to wait longer for results that never came. Overall a very invasive procedure for no results and paid £600 for the pleasure. Money wasted.

I keep getting marketing emails and texts that I have asked to be unsubscribed from but continually get them.

There is no unsubscribe button on the texts which I’m pretty sure is not legal??? Same for emails.

Had the procedure around 2 years ago, overall experience wasn’t good so I don’t want further treatments, therefore not interested emails from them… I wasn’t going to write a review about it but since I am sick of receiving emails and texts and can’t stop them it’s bugged me enough to finally leave one.

I have not had a treatment at this…

I have not had a treatment at this clinic, but I remember I wanted to a few years, so I went and read all the reviews I could find like a normally do when researching a clinic for a treatment and due to bad reviews I decided not to use their services. I can confirm that all the past reviews have disappeared, strangely Google reviews only show reviews around 4 months old. How odd… For this manipulation they deserve 1 star.

THEY MANIPULATE THEIR GOOGLE REVIEWS AND BLOCK YOU ON SOCIAL MEDIA!

SCARIEST, MOST HUMILIATING EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! Open wound bleeding for 7 days straight, thread poking out of my face, asymmetry, ripples, “horn” over eyebrow, lifting effect *completely* gone after a *week*. This has been the most horrifying, humiliating experience of my life. The numbing process itself was absolutely horrific, but I believed it’d prevent even greater pain so I sucked it up. Turns out, it doesn’t! I felt the whole 2nd half of it all and it was excruciating. But I thought, “ok, at least my face will look amazing after all this”. And I couldn’t have been more wrong! As she was done and handed me the mirror, my first reaction was shock. Sure, it looked incredibly lifted, and I liked the eyebrows initially (again: all COMPLETELY down back to normal after 1 week!), but I *specifically* asked for a lifting effect in the jawline area, not cheekbones. Yet there I was, with a LOT of volume in my cheekbones, looking like an alien. I was speechless, but trying to believe it’d get better. As I proceeded with the payment, her assistant asked for my review on Google immediately, which I thought was so strange as I needed a day or two to think it through. Then he insisted I’d have to do it right away, so I did. 6-8 hours later, the pain I started feeling on both sides of my head was, honestly, the strongest headaches I’ve ever felt! It was so bad! So I called them to ask for advice and they *did not take any of my calls*. Which was a huge red flag! Then I messaged them, and they coldly, as always, advised me that I took some Ibuprofen (like…seriously?) and if I felt worse, to go to an a&e. Zero f*cks they were giving to my pain. The arrogance..it was gross, they couldn’t care less. But okay, I had just gone through an intense procedure, eyebrows + lower face, so I, again, sucked it up. On the following couple of days, STILL in a LOT of pain, I’ve noticed I had RIPPLES in my face. You could CLEARLY see the threads in my face, giving me this bizarre look, along with the creepy cheekbones. To which they responded it was “normal” and that it’d disappear in the next week. But it is NOT normal and it hasn’t! Ripples from threadlifts only happen when it’s POORLY done! They asked me for more time, but as the swelling disappeared, the ripples became even more visible! And one of the wounds from the canulas wouldn’t stop bleeding for 7 days straight! I had to go to a public hospital to have a nurse cut the thread that had been POKING OUT OF MY FACE, like I was Frankenstein or something. So not only the procedure was incredibly painful, not only the results were AWFUL aesthetically, not only the threads did not last AT ALL, (Pcla!!), they were also a MEDICAL ERROR, as she didn’t even cut the damn thing right! And the a&e here doesn’t give you a discharge letter when you’re seen by nurses, so as if any of ALL this wasn’t enough, they’re making me chase the hospital down to release my file so I can “prove” what I’ve ALREADY PROVED with multiple photos and videos! Now around the 10th day post-procedure, I’ve noticed a HORN over my left temple, a big bump from the thread underneath. And that was the last straw for me. After I sent them evidence after evidence of all their errors they’ve put me through, nothing I send is enough for them! They keep humiliating me, questioning my morals, treating me like nothing, and I HAVE HAD ENOUGH! RUN AWAY FROM THIS CLINIC! They’ve offered me a consultation (I don’t live in England), even though I know for a fact the only way to fix this would be to TRY to remove the threads, but I will NOT go all the way to London again and for nothing, THERE IS NO WAY THIS WOMAN WILL TOUCH MY FACE AGAIN! I will now be proceeding with legal action and a formal complaint to the CQC, which I've already done (by the way, this woman is NOT a member of ISCAS like she states on her website, they flat out lie, nonstop), because at first all I wanted was my money so I could pay for heat-based treatments to dissolve these damn threads faster, but they will keep humiliating me and will never refund me willingly, so now all I want is Justice. *The victim-blaming from them is absolutely disgusting!* At least this way I get to help other people to stay away from them!

They have purged their Google Reviews and only share reviews they can moderate themselves. Be wary!

For over a year the SAS aesthetics google page had a whole bunch of mixed reviews regarding their thread treatments.
Mostly they were negative, though they post good testimonies on their social media.
Patients even shared pictures to support their reviews.
I was puzzled to see a few months ago they had purged all the Google reviews and only left 5star reviews all of a sudden!
I tried to post my only review twice, and it has never shown up. Any other business I review on Google Reviews shows up within seconds.
However, somehow they are able to filter it out and only keep the 5 star reviews.
Originally, they responded to the negative reviews claiming it was a rival clinic or something trying to smear them.
When it was actual patients sharing images of the poor results.
They highly promote their nose & fox threading which they claim last up to 6months with the cheapest thread option. But there are no testimonies of it ever lasting after a 3 month period. The main complaint of the patients were they disappear in weeks & therefore are charged at an extortionate price...I remember a patient said she flew out from Poland and paid for the extra durable threads that are meant to remain for a year or longer, paid over £1,000 & it disappeared in month!
Find it very suspicious and shady they would go to these lengths to hide their own patients troubled experiences & just appear popular. It isn't good cosmetic practice at all & suggests they just want money and awards instead of transparency.
Now that this independant review section has been made I hope patients can speak freely.

I have managed to find a patient who posted their review on a different site so it can't be reviewed by Dr Mahsa and her clinic; realself(dot)com/review/thread-lift-botched-pdo-threads-refund
