30 Minute Update for Forced AI and F All Else
30 minutes for BS forced Gemini integration because my phone started crapping itself after I put off this update as long as I could. I long for the day of the Nokia brick again, and not the cheap knockoffs even Nokia is putting out now. Samsung is a POS system, company, and shop that only cares about its AI overlord and money as opposed to... functioning and doing its job.
Utter rubbish
Utter rubbish, internets goes so slow it stops working, got some rubbish news brief on the lock screen even though i have disabled it, it still remians.
I am not sure why Samsung assumes that…
I am not sure why Samsung assumes that it "knows" what I want, moving things, adding new apps, changing stuff, even if I have locked screens etc. Which i lock because I LIKE the way I save it set up. As a die hard Samsung user, their updates are making me reconsider my choices. Updates should just improve security, performance and OFFER new options which I can decide if I want them!!😡🤬
Samsung is currently refusing to honor…
Samsung is currently refusing to honor the legal warranty on my Galaxy Z Fold 7 despite clear evidence of a manufacturing defect (internal screen 'crunching' sound followed by the 'line of death'). I have high-resolution photos taken minutes before shipping proving the device was in mint condition, yet Samsung/Dynafix claims 'pressure damage' based on visual suppositions to avoid their legal obligations.
I have paid €819.79 under protest ('sous réserve') and have officially initiated legal proceedings (Conciliation) before the Belgian Justice de Paix in Wavre. Samsung is in direct breach of the presumption of conformity (Article 1649quater of the Belgian Civil Code). I will update this review once Samsung complies with the law and issues a full refund. Potential buyers: beware of the lack of support for these expensive folding screens.
If i could give a zero i would
If i could give a zero i would. My phone is completely ruined. It began gitching so it forced me to download you stupid updates. Now the entire phone is messed up and nothing makes sense. This is the worst. I have never experienced this crap before in my life. Side button does not respond to anything at all, even though the settings are adjusted. Screen only opens when it feels like it. Cant take screen shots all of a sudden. What the hell is going on? It made me believe my phone was broken but no its just your shitty updates. Restore my phone to the way it was please or i think ill switch altogether. Its an absolute joke.
Very bad , new phone , and its second time updating by himself in 1 day , couldnt pay at shop and taxi driver needed to ait 20 min extra for the update , absolutelly horseshit . Going back to Apple as
Samsung very bad , stay away
It’s honestly one of the shittiest…
It’s honestly one of the shittiest updates ever made. My phone runs slower, everything feels harder to reach, and instead of making it simpler to use, they managed to screw it up completely. If I wanted to waste my time figuring out how the damn thing works, I’d have bought an iPhone — at least there I’d get a better camera out of the deal.
They changed the icons and now it looks like I’m stuck back in the ’90s. It took me ten damn minutes just to find the gallery. The search bar on the home screen is shoved at the bottom — who the hell came up with that brilliant idea? And if I tap anywhere on the screen, the AI search pops up… they really made a total mess of everything.
What pisses me off the most is that I installed the update by mistake. I opened an app, tried to tap on something, the update pop-up jumped out of nowhere, and before I even realized what the hell was going on, the update had already started.
Your update is i pile crap
Your update is i pile crap stop changing are set ups
Latest update is not only unwelcome
Latest update is not only unwelcome, it also makes the phone nearly useless. Now I can't transfer a photo, I can't even restart my phone. This update isn't up to garbage standards, its radioactive toxic waste. I nearly gave ny phone a 9mm vent I was so upset with it today. I wish someone would make a phone that worked like the utility I need, rather than a cutting edge AI slopfest. Going shopping tomorrow for another phone, anything but Samshit.
Thoughtless, shoddy updates
A recent update presented me with a lock screen that had the date and four numbers in a 2x2 square format. It took a long time to realise this was the time, it is presented in such a foreign format as to be unrecognisable. The next update gave me an even more useless/thoughtless 'feature', now instead of clear numbers against a bold background for the battery charge state, I am presented with a two colour background and numbers that are not clearly contrasted, now instead of seeing battery charge at a glance, it takes time, squinting and guesswork. The very latest update has replaced the one 'long press' feature to bring up the 'turn off' screen with a simultaneous press of 2 buttons. One of these is the volume down button and invariably my phone has nil volume before I manage a successful press sequence. Apparently the handy one-touch turn off feature has been considered better utilised for firing up a new 'AI' feature. You get a fail mark from me Samsung for introducing accessibility, dexterity and visual issues.
Downgrade
Changing something to make it more complicated or just different for the sake of it is a downgrade NOT an upgrade and definitely not clever. All it does is show that Samsung have no idea what Intelligently Simple is.
Obviously Samsung personnel have no choice or ability but to do Cretinously Complicated.
Sick of the disappointment so no more Samsung product for me ever.
Buyer beware.
Soon to be the apple team
E-ve-ry single update is honestly a headache! Thanks to tiktok users videos I am able to reverse some of the bull, but this newest one is a different level. Where is my predicted text? One of many fails I am seeing only a few minutes after installing. I knew why I kept postponing. All my keybord settings have the prediction ON. I do know my grammar, most of the time, even tho English is my third language. However it's usefull to use predicts for ' in its etc.. autocorect sort of thing. It's all ON. Suggest, spell check.... yet here I am writting with that whole keyboard bar gone. Why change the good bits, I dunno. Dissapointed yet again and I really dont wanna switch for an iphone but... 🤯😭
Atrocious Uodate
My 3.5 year old galaxy was perfect before this god awful update. My home screen is all changed. i hate it. Nothing works the same anymore. My battery is draining. I can no longer cast to external Google speakers. This was the best phone I ever had until now. Now it feels like garbage - how can I get rid of this update? How can they actually get away with doing this - I will never buy a Samsung phone again.
Nothing works
Nothing works, camera stopped working, phone won't show autocorrect or predictative text and can't even be connected to a pc to transfer media to send the phone in! STOP DUCKING WITH SOMETHING THAT AIN'T BROKEN
Quit trying to justify your job and leave my phone alone. DAMN!!!
Why does Samsung force crap on your phone that (you own) isn't needed? Like this Now Brief. Really Samsung??? One of these days, someone with some smarts will figure it out and let the phone owner decide what gets updated on their phone. Not this communist way of doing it. Crap gets changed on my phone that wasn't needed. You fix things that isn't broke. Bureaucrats must run your company. Leave shit alone.
What Customer Support????
I purchased a Samsung Series 6 Space Max fridge/freezer online from Currys on 23/08/25 and it was delivered on 27/08/25. When I unpacked the fridge/freezer on the 30/08/25, I discovered a small chip on the edge of the fridge door which appeared to be a manufacturing fault. I reported this to Currys by email and attached several photographs. The response was their email address was for businesses only and that the only way I could make a complaint was to either write to their customer support, phone them or speak to a robot online. I decided to phone them the same day and after spending over twenty minutes pressing different numbers on my mobile and answering various questions, I was transferred directly to Samsung Support where I spent more time answering the same questions I had done previously. I was provided with an email address for Samsung Support and sent full details including photographs the same day. I received an email, with an apology, and was asked to provide additional information which I did.
What followed was over seven weeks of emails being exchanged with Samsung who repeatedly apologised but seemed incapable of resolving the situation. After three weeks of emails and not receiving any other contact, I phoned the number for Samsung support. where eventually I spoke to an agent whose English was poor and who insisted on calling me Mr Edmund (my first name). Having discussed the issue she informed me that she would need to put me on hold as she could not access the photographs I had sent. After waiting for some time, she came back on the phone and asked me how I would like the matter to be resolved. Having discussed the options she informed me that she would need to speak to someone in admin and informed me I would be contacted again within 24 to 48 hours.
The day after this call I visited the local Currys store and mentioned this to a member of staff. His response was ‘Did you purchase the item online?’ When I confirmed this, he said, ‘Well we are different companies so there is nothing we can do.’ Hold on a minute does it not say Currys on that big purple sign outside your store, the exact same signage as on your website which informs me you are the same company?
After six weeks of broken promises a female contacted me and explained that an offer of an 8% money off voucher would be the only compensation I would receive. Of course, I refused this and was informed, yet again, I would receive contact within 24-48 hours with an update.
After seven weeks of being repeatedly asked to confirm my mobile number and address, I received a phone call from a male asking for my bank details. He told me he had just received my photographs of the damaged fridge/freezer, these being the same photographs I had sent to Samsung seven weeks earlier. When I refused to pass my bank details over the phone, he explained that I would receive a text and to follow the instructions to receive my compensation. What compensation I asked, no-one has told me what you are offering me. He informed me it would be 15% of the purchase price refunded. Having put up with the appalling lack of customer support from Samsung for so long, I could no longer be bothered to argue the odds and have accepted this offer, reluctantly. If I could show all the emails, I received in this report you would be amazed at the poor service, this company provides. It will be a long time before I purchase any items from Samsung again, if ever. Incredibly appalling customer service.
after the update in oct.b2025 my Folder…
after the update in oct.b2025 my Folder 4 doesn't work. it doesn't recognize wifi, the big screen doesn't open. Last year the same thing happened to me, but it was still under warranty. Now they asked me for 475 pounds to repair it. How do I pay every time after the update, if the phone no longer works?
Dreadful Update
Dreadful update. Lots of stuff no longer working - and it keeps changing. Sometimes I can't even unlock my phone without forcing a power down and restart. I can no longer connect with a USB cable to a PC and battery charging time is a lot longer and it draws down more quickly. Camera doesn't work properly and photo icons keep refresshing for no apparent reason. Latest screwup today -I can't even access my contacts despite the app set to allow. This is not funny and it is simply not acceptable Samsung! A smart phone needs to work - more and more we have to use one e.g. banking security, submitting meter readings...I could go on. Fix it Samsung or re-install an earlier version which actually works.
The worst update ever just happened on…
The worst update ever just happened on Samsung. The panel that used to slide down from the top of the phone, with all the useful tools and notifications, has now been split into two parts.
It’s sooooo bad that it’s driving me crazy — I just want it back the way it was before.
Why change what works?
Infuriating changes you make on your updates. Now we have to swipe from the right corner for the control panel instead of simply down . It's awkward and takes a food few swipes before you get what you want. Also, just as I had discovered that handy long press of the home button to translate, you have removed it.
