This is a great salsa school. No one takes themselves too seriously and it’s relaxed. The teachers are all lovely and I like the pace. Good location and nice dance space. I love the weekend workshops too. Everyone is really supportive.

Maria did a fantastic job of arranging two dancers for us at late notice. Sean and Krystina were lovely and got everyone involved, tailoring the lesson for all abilities. Definitely recommend.
Very very rude and unprofessional staff. An honest advice - avoid this place, all they think about is money, they don't care about their service at all. If I could I would give 0 stars.

I feel like I'm really improving. I like that I can go at my own pace and when I'm ready I can move up a level. Also it's great having three classes of different levels happening in the same room so that you can see the other levels and what you're working towards (and it's not actually distracting).
The teachers are very skilled dancers and good at teaching. It's really worth the money.

I went to the classes in Sheffield Street, 30 minutes taster and 2 hours straight after. The instructors are very patient, helpful and fun. I will definitely recommend it. Shame the venue was small, beginners like myself need more space.

I am new in town and visited Salsa tropical school last week and all the instructors were very welcoming! The class was taught in a very professional manner. The School is in Central London , near Holborn, excellent location and has a very spacious Hall. The system at the door has the latest technology : I was able to do my booking via an app. The team of instructors are all working in a professional manner . I met the director, Maria who explained to me the 6 levels of salsa and its requirements. I was very impressed with her dancing and what an amazing school she has built. I met lots of great people there who I am friends with now. I highly recommended.

I started taking salsa lessons to do something new and fun. The group lessons are great - the teachers are very professional, they make sure everyone can keep up with the class, and it's clear that they enjoy teaching. It's a very warm and friendly environment. I also take private lessons with Maria, and this has really helped my technique, as she focuses on fixing the mistakes I make, and has taught me lots of extra moves. I highly recommend Salsa Tropical - learning salsa has been a great experience.

You have to love Maria! The best salsa teacher of all that I had. I liked the way she explains, the precision, encouragement and motivation.Thank you so much for the great tuition!

This dance class is very "industrial", with Maria trying to cram as many people into a class as possible, to maximize her profits.
As someone clueless about dancing, I paid for four lessons in advance, to see how well I'd get on with the teachers, and I'm very glad I didn't buy more:
1) The class consisted of 7 guys and 2 girls, so half the time I ended up dancing on my own with an imaginary partner (I could do that at home for free)
2) Reception staff seem poorly trained and ill informed. When I complained to Maria about incorrect information they'd given me, she simply dismissed the complaint with: "Oh, they're too busy updating the database to spend time explaining things"
3) My four hour pass mysteriously became a three hour pass, I suspect they charged me for the so-called free lesson, but the reception staff who had told me the week before that I had two hours remaining, told me the following week that there was zero hours remaining, and then Maria kept insisting that I should be another package.
In summary, it's been an awful experience, and put me off learning salsa... If you're thinking of learning, this is one place to definately avoid.

Outstanding Bachata teachers, Sergio and Nadia are such incredibly talented dancers and teachers, they have a great musicality understanding, technique understanding and all in all a very good in-depth knowledge of what they do, always being super friendly, helpful and humble!
I would definitely recommend this school and especially their bachata classes, because all in all they honestly are the best bachata teachers I’ve had the pleasure to learn from in London and also in an international level!
Love! Love! Love these Salsa classes. Maria and her team are friendly, helpful and dedicated to helping you progress either at your own pace or ensuring you are pushed into fast tracking your levels if that’s what you want so you can become the best you want to be. Comfortable atmosphere that you can really make friends at and with all the courses and social nights there’s always an opportunity to practice what you’re taught. Would highly recommend
I have been going to Salsa Tropical weekly since the beginning of 2019 as a complete beginner. It is a great atmosphere with brilliant teachers who are all very welcoming. Great way to meet new people and exercise in a fun way. Highly recommend!

Sergio and Nadia are the two most caring and professional bachata teachers around. Not only they are great dancer with an in depth knowledge that allows them to see and correct any student mistake but they are also very passionate about what they do. This means that they are always willing to spend extra time with you to make sure students make progress. They adapt the pace of the lesson to the speed of the class without rushing through the movements to ensure that everybody is on board and following. The inspiration, individual attention and encouragement you can receive from then is priceless.
Always a lot of fun and highly recommended! Maria and her team are super friendly... i really like the flexibility of joining lessons Mo and/or We, no matter what level (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced) you‘re on😊
If you want to learn salsa in a very clear & well-taught manner & in a very fun atmosphere Salsa Tropical's classes are highly recommended
I've tried many different dance classes over the last 15 years, and this is definitely the best Salsa one I've been to - you can tell they've put a lot of effort into running something professional, which is why they have very good numbers attending. The teachers are all friendly and explain things really well, and the door staff are also great. The current venue is in a really good location, and the classes are excellent value for money, especially the packages. I've tried Bachata as well, something new for me, these classes are also really fun! Hope to try a workshop soon :)
