We were with SAGE for many years for both their payroll and accountancy software. All in almost 2 decades.
We left behind the SAGE payroll first because of the rising costs of what seemed to be a product that didn't actually evolve to justify the increasing costs with product evolution. So we moved to BrightPay in 2015, a company who were new on the block with a great lower cost offering but they now seem keen to emulate SAGE by ramping prices backed with no evident product evolution.
The SAGE accounting really showed SAGE's veracity to bend over their customers. When MTD came in there was no software patch offered but instead, a £250 a year subscription bolt on submission tool. A tool that other companies offered as Freeware. We had a perpetual licence version of SAGE Accounts 50 that they removed access to the program with their TLS 2 security upgrade. The TLS is only there for SAGE security, to confirm you have a legit copy and not a pirated version. So they ended perpetual licence copies 10 years early and that'll be £1,000 a year for something you have already paid for. So, we moved to QuickBooks online and lost access to our 20 years of company data on SAGE Accounts.

We have recently had several training sessions with Rebecca Wooderson. Her knowledge of Sage is excellent. She listened to our requirements and concerns and was able to demonstrate more efficient ways of working within Sage. She also provided excellent training on Report Designer which has helped us redesign our invoicing to benefit both ourselves and our customers.
Our only regret is that we didn't do the training earlier, as soon as we moved to Sage. We would highly recommend Sage Accounts Solutions for any training needs.

Have used Sage Accounts Solutions to help us with a number of areas in Sage 50 accounts which we weren't using properly and to their full ability e.g. sales invoicing. We 've reduced the time to process the invoices by around 20% and expect to be able to get it down to less than 50%. The invoices also look much more professional now we know how to use the report designer. Rebecca has excellent knowledge of Sage 50 and pitches the learning sessions at the right level. I'd definitely recommend their service if you feel you are not getting the most out of Sage.

It was all working fine. No problems. Recent "improvements" are dreadful. Take the font. Why did you change it? It is horrible and difficult to read. Other stuff isn't better either. The system is getting slower.

I signed up for Rebecca’s sage report workshop that she ran, during covid and it was amazing and has helped me to create reports, and update other areas of sage accounts, it’s saved me time and streamlined the way we report information, we made the decision to bring payroll in house and I got in contact with Rebecca who talked me through the process and what I needed to do, I booked in training and set up sessions. Sharlette at Sage Accounts Solutions, went over and above with setting up our sage payroll because our payroll is complicated it took longer But she persevered and got there in the end. Our sage data had errors. Sage helpline couldn't help and said to restore from last good back up. This company took our data, and fixed it with no loss of our transactions since last back up. On explaining the urgency, this was dealt with in a matter of hours. It was very simple to get data to them and to get it back. Very impressed, highly recommended

Thank you so much for the personal training of SAGE at the company's office. I am new qualified and Rebecca introduced me to the existing 'NH3 Engineering Ltd' software. Every time we go to do some work on Sage we get the "website under heavy load message" - its not rare its frequent, we cant get our work done. So it simply must be that Sage have taken on too many customers and dont have the capacity to service them - this is sheer GREED. And its not easy to move accounting packages. Complete waste of money - go to Xero, wish we had.
