What I love most about Kate’s approach…

What I love most about Kate’s approach in this audio is that it doesn’t just give you beautiful theories about self-love—it actually gives you a concrete steering wheel for your brain when things get emotionally messy.
For me, the absolute gold nugget in this session is the concept of the "holding body" and using physical anchors.
We’ve all been there: a wave of anxiety, anger, or grief hits, and it feels like a tsunami. You totally lose yourself in it. Kate explains beautifully that we don’t have to run away from these feelings, but we don’t have to let them drown us either.
By using specific parts of our body as anchors, we create a safe zone. It’s like telling your brain: "Hey, I am feeling this huge anger right now, but I am still right here, grounded in my feet on the floor or the breath in my chest." This shifting back and forth between feeling the emotion (experiencing body) and staying grounded (holding body) is a total game-changer. It stops you from over-identifying with the drama in your head.

I like the practical aspect of the talk. I’ve tried to implement it in my everyday life for the last few days and I have already noticed some improvements in the way how I respond to irritation and stress. That 1 second pause and 1 deep breath for me is the key. Thank you for sharing your insights with us!

Why I recommend Kate

I have known Kate for a number of years now, and I am fascinated by her development as a human being and as a professional. She has dove into the realm of the world of our emotions and designed her signature approach. What I find most interesting about her work is the possibility of looking at our automatic reactions differently. Rather than seeing them as something to fight, control, or be ashamed of, we can become curious about what is happening underneath them. Not in trying harder to be different, but in understanding ourselves better. There is something liberating about realising that our reactions don't have to define us, and that there may be more space between what happens to us and how we respond than we think.

A chance to thrive

In our everyday lives all of us face challenging situations. Especially in the fast paced environment of modern urban communities it is crucial to be able to react adequately in order to move forward and evolve. Otherwise we may remain stuck in a neverending loop of repeating conflicts and failures.
What Kate's course offers is a chance to regain control over our lives through techniques for mindful reactions and responses even in the most triggering and challenging situations.
Learning to observe what pushes me off track, analyzing why it has such an impact on my emotional state and then implementing the methods that Kate shares with us turned out to be a game changing period in my life.
Better reactions from my side strengthened my relationships and therefore opened new paths for cooperation based on mutual trust and understanding.
I highly recommend giving Kate a chance to give you a hand through what she has to offer.

Immediately relatable - Genuinely motivating to practise

Thank you for this episode !!! It was so insightful, relatable and easy to follow, and I found myself thinking about situations in my own life as you explained how easily our minds can go into “automatic pilot” when something triggers us.

I loved how you broke the process down simply — noticing the trigger, pausing instead of reacting, staying with the discomfort (secure enough to tolerate the discomfort), and then practising bringing in more positive thoughts. The idea that, with practice, we can actually modify what comes automatically to us even when we replay in our minds the trigger really stayed with me.

It made me think about my own reactions in a different way, and I came away feeling both more aware and motivated to practise it myself.

Such an interesting and genuinely useful episode. I’ll definitely be coming back to it!
